Very friendly owner and very knowledgeable about all of her firework selections. She was extremely helpful when trying to select the perfect fireworks for our family. Also very convenient and easy location to find.

The owner and Cody were super friendly and knowledgable. They really took the time to help us find the best pieces for what we wanted. What the the store lacks in square footage they more than make up for in selection and service. Go here first!

I’ve never bought fireworks before. I was pleased to find that the owner was very helpful and helped me to tailor my purchase for maximum effect within my budget. Excellent experience. Don’t be put off by the storefront — give the number there a call and she’ll be right down. She was very helpful and is pleased to throw in some bonuses, too. I was very satisfied with my purchase, I would absolutely return here for another purchase.

I come to NH annually to visit family. This is the best fireworks store I have found in the Concord area. They have a wide selection, competitive prices, and knowledgeable staff. They know their products and even have videos in the store of the mortars that allow you to see how they will look overhead. We told the woman who ran the store what we were looking for and she offered several options. No pressure, just solid information. We bought several large mortars that were just stunning to watch. They make sure that you know how to safely set these things off before you leave the store. We shot them all off the same day, and had a great time. She was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we got what we wanted. I would buy from her again.

Came here yesterday as a first time firework buyer and must say, I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Christiana helped me pick out an awesome bundle of fireworks without once ever trying to force me to buy something without knowing my preference (loudness, color, etc.). The owner, Debra, was over the top kind and allowed me to grab a few extra goodies on the house because of how much fireworks I was buying! Really an awesome place to stop if you’re in the area and want great advice for an awesome firework display and for a more than affordable price. Would highly recommend this place.

Great fireworks shop with excellent customer service!
I’ve been to two other fireworks shops in New Hampshire, (Sparks Fly & Hooksett Fireworks) and can say that Champney’s is my favorite. From the outside, the business looks small, but inside they have just about EVERY kind of fireworks available in NH. Don’t let the outside fool you! I think the whole building is the showroom, the warehouse must be somewhere else.
Regarding their prices, they seemed very competitive to me. I didn’t call around to compare prices but I can say that they are no more expensive than the other place I’ve visited. I bought my fireworks in August and purchased a great $ 200 variety pack that would normally be $ 300, so 33% is good! I didn’t get to take advantage of those great 4^th of July sales, but they still had buy 1 get one sales on their 500 gram cakes.
Also, the sales person was extremely knowledgeable and helped me work within my budget. She did not try to recommend a «Best Seller» that might be marked-​up item with higher margins that I suspect other stores might do. Instead, she asked me what I was looking for, made some suggestions, and showed me a DVD of the pieces I was buying. It was clear that she knew the effects, report loudness, and height of everything she was selling me. I can’t say the same for other places that I have been. Again, excellent customer service! Also, after we checked out, she gave me a couple bonus pieces! Most place do that wen you drop a couple bones, but she gave me some GREAT extras worth $ 100 for a $ 300 purchase!
I’m a pretty discerning shopper and want to get the biggest bang for my buck. Needless to say, I’ll be coming back here for my next fireworks purchase. You should too!

$ 100 for a pack of Excalibur shells? The normal price for them is $ 60. However, I have heard from other firework hobbyists that you can work with them to get good deals on stuff. Like most smaller firework stores, the employees are not just cashiers; they are salesmen. I don’t like having to «talk-​down» prices, but if you do, the results can be satisfying.
When you find the location on 3A you will need to go to the house on the right, even though the store banner is on the wider house on the left. They had to move the store due to regulations regarding explosives being a certain distance from the street. It’s a large store, well organized, with a good selection of product. They have a television inside where you can watch firework demos.
Unfortunately, compared to its neighboring competitors, the initial prices are rather high. Their customer service is good. If you do decide to go here, check out their assortment bags that they compile.

Great customer service, they are not overbearing but if you have a question they are right there to answer it for you! Highly recommended.
