I love that there is still a local video store around! They have a wonderful selection of videos and tv series. The staff was very helpful and kind! I wasn’t able to find the movie I wanted at red box. It was so nice to go to a place with a larger selection of movies. Keep up the great work! PLEASE DON’T CLOSE!

This place is a classic video store. It’s remarkable that this place still exists. I have great childhood memories of going to Top Hat and after not being here in almost a decade not much has changed. They still have everything neatly organized by genre.
I wondered how they managed to compete with the advent of Red Box and Netflix but they’ve done it. They still have a discount for every day of the week and our new release was only $ 1.
So hopefully they’ll be able to survive another decade and create memories for the next generation.

One of the last of it’s kind, this place is a classic. They have great deals and you can found the older movies that you love and can’t find on Netflix.

Top hat video is the best way to rent movies! Staff is friendly and knowledgable. They can even find movies for us when all we remember is what happened in them or «that one guy» was in it. We hope they NEVER go out of business. We love having more than one day to watch or finish our movie– we love being able to call ahead and have them save our movie for pick up at the counter and love having a place to go for those super old movies we watched when we were kids. Prices are more than fair especially if you pay with cash. This place is a gem!

Great movie rental store, and actually one of a kind these days. I wish we had more places like this. I didn’t actually check out a movie because I don’t live in the Bountiful area, but I purchased a couple of films as well as a poster.

I started going to Top Hat when they were located at the old 5 points mall in the mid 1990’s. Still my favorite video store to this day. Great deals, new and old movies, video games, and the staff is always super friendly! Thanks Top Hat staff you rock

Top Hat is a great place to go when you are looking for something to watch. They have awesome deals, including a fantastic punch pass. The only complaint I have is there are several movies that they don’t have, that I can’t seem to find anywhere. However, they do have a wide variety of movies and display in the front according to the holiday. (Valentines, Halloween, Xmas.) The staff is usually really nice and recommend movies when I ask.

In a world overtaken by renting videos from a machine and internet, Top Hat helps us remember what it is like to walk in, select your video, and check out with a human. I am grateful they are still in business. They have a vast selection, and great daily deals! They offer $.60 movies the last hour before they close, and you can keep them for up to a week! They also offer cash discount, so bring a few bucks.

Top Hat is the BEST place to get movies. On $ 1 days you get any movie, and most rent for 5 days. They’re better than Redbox in so many ways! They also offer pre-​paid punch cards so you can always get any movie or game for $ 1.
You can reserve ANY movie — and Top Hat’s selection is huge! Top Hat generally gets the new releases fast — way before Redbox!
They candy, drinks, & popcorn that are very reasonably priced — on par with the grocery stores so that if the kids beg for a treat to go with the movie I never feel bad about saying yes.
The staff are SO friendly and helpful. If you can’t think of what to watch they always have great suggestions. On the off chance you have a problem with any game or video they take care of it right away — no need to call some impersonal call center and worry that they’ll blame you for the problem when it’s not your fault. A couple times when a movie wouldn’t play for me when I took it back they buffed it, or replaced it with another and extended my rental time — no charge.
They also have games for all sorts of consoles — including DS & 3DS. Those rent for 5 days which is a great way to test out a game to see if you like it before you purchase it.
My kids love the little play area, and there are often specials just for the kids on videos from the family section.
They’re open 6 days a week ’til 10, and ’til 11 on Friday & Saturday.
It’s also nice that there is an Orange Leaf Yogurt nearby, and Parson’s bakery too. Yum!
To sum up, Top Hat has cheap 5 day rentals, huge selection, inexpensive treats,
helpful people, games, and great perks for kids. Redbox has none of these things. Top Hat wins hands down with my family!

We’ve been patrons of Top Hat since the early days at Five Points Mall. In a world of instant streaming and digital copies, these guys still provide us with great choices and deals. We love the daily discounts, the five day rentals and the kids play area. It’s a little like stepping back in time, in a good way! However, they offer all the new releases, bluray and nearly any tv series you can think of. Top Hat also supports the community, sponsors schools and teachers. They are the best!

If nothing in Redbox appeals to me that night, my girlfriend and I always go to top hat. Very very large selection of both new releases and tv shows and games. I always find something to watch, and the employees are always very friendly. Working the system is a must, i believe thursday is rent one get one free night, every day has a different promotion. This is how i keep going here instead of redbox or netflix, it is never expensive, always worth it.

I geekily admit I LOVED the 3300. But ‘WHA HAPPENED!?’ I missed the last half of the shows. Top Hat has it. Better still, go there on Adventure Night and get any video in the store (except bluray) for $ 1.00. Add in friendly and helpful personnel, popcorn balls, and sorry, Redbox, we’re through.
Minus one star, no restroom. Which took me next door to the new yogurt place, where I discovered Pomegranate flavored frozen yogurt with Mango Boba. Have you ever had a boba? ITs a pArty! I’m in trub now.
