Awesome Place! Very good food. I ordered only 1 Cajun Taco and it took over 15 minutes to receive with very little line or customers. Besides the bummer wait, I’ve been here in the past and received top quality service. I will return and do recommend this location to others! Who doesn’t love Wahoos tacos?

Friendly, switched-on, fast service, especially noticed when there is a line (which goes quickly). Ample, spread-out seating. And most importantly, fresh, tasty, colorful fare with inviting sauces that enhance but don’t bury the food. Good value with the #1 combo at $ 5.49 — a heaping, small plate with a thoughtfully prepared taco or enchilada plus huge servings of rice and beans with a lightly applied sauce — and plenty of choices to made when ordering the #1 combo meal.

A friendly staff really goes along way to improving the experience at a business. Wahoo’s staff really went above and beyond to help me and a friend out who has a very special allergy. The food is pretty good, but the staff won the day for being awesome! ³⁄₅ food, ⁵⁄₅ Staff.

We found a washer in our rice. Never again.
Apparently these reviews need to be longer not to be categorized as a mere «tip». But what else is there to say? Do you want to risk biting a piece of metal in your food? The washer was about 5 mm wide, and hexagonal. It looked pretty clean, for being in a serving of rice.
¹⁄₁₀ – do not recommend. (See my attached photo for proof.)

Wahoo’s is one of, if not, the best fast casual restaurant in Boulder. My favorite item is the cajun salmon tacos, and the black beans are a great side. The service is generally good and food arrives pretty quickly. Although you might not expect it, the cookies are very good and come from a local bakery.

Huge portions of tasty Mexican food. We tried the shrimp tacos, wahoo tacos, and chicken enchiladas. All of them were great! My only gripe is the beer selection – if you’re going to offer beer and you’re in Boulder, you’ve got to have some local ones!

Love wahoos! It’s not just fish tacos! They have chicken and carne the works! Best soft tacos ever! I love the coleslaw they put on top of the tacos so good! They give a good amount of food for the price too! Their beans and rice are amazing too not all crusty like some places. I like getting green sauce with the burritos!

Wahoo’s was okay. This place reminded me a lot of Chipotle in their offerings (and the way it was offered). The ingredients are better quality than chipotle, but the concept seems similar– you can choose a protein and put it in a bowl or burrito or taco (with beans, rice, some veggies). We tried the salmon in a taco and salmon in a bowl, blackened and grilled (blackened was significantly better). I think that this place might be worth a second visit if you in the mood for this food but otherwise, I wasn’t overly impressed.

Wahoo Fish Taco is always consistently good. I enjoy the Wahoo bowl and the Banzai bowl with Cajun fish and there white beans. The margaritas are made in a big batch so there are also consistently good and strong!

Wow, finally a taco joint that knows what they are doing. Really cool patio and dining area. Try the Cajun Wahoo Taco. You won’t be disappointed!

Two and a half stars, first time at this chain. Parking in the shared plaza lot, bathroom shared with adjacent salon. Outdoor patio seating, plus plenty inside. Service is efficient. I liked the beer battered shrimp tacos that were on special (lightly coated, slaw not overdressed, peanut sauce on the side for a nice punch of flavor) more than the grilled wahoo taco, and definitely more than the overcooked Cajun salmon taco. Broken white rice was enjoyable and lightly seasoned, black beans were standard. Limes were fresh, salsa was average. Would be willing to check out the scream’n burrito, kalua pig bowl, banzai burrito, baja rolls, Maui onion rings.

Do not visit Boulder much. However, my wife and I decided to try this place out. My first impression of the place was very clean, and upbeat. They had a lot of choices to choose from, we decided to go for their fish tacos which is talked about in a lot of their reviews. My first impression of the food was pretty good. The atmosphere was clean, and the staff was definitely upbeat. If we ever return to Boulder I definitely would consider going to this place again.

I love wahoo’s. Probably eaten there over 25 times at various locations just last year. This location is so so at best. They won’t allow substitutions… (EVERY other location will as long as it isn’t an upgrade) they also won’t let you pay to add an ingredient… What?
They’ve also messed up my order on more than two occasions.
The easy going vibe of Wahoo’s is why I like eating there… But this location plays crappy Christian rock all day…
All in all, I eat here cause it’s the only Wahoo’s around and I really love the food. But this is the worst location I’ve been to.

Steak teriyaki is the best seller, so I was told from the guy behind the counter.
I was visiting in Boulder and went here 3 times! It was so good.
Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, and packaging is conscious.
First I had the normal steak teriyaki bowl and the second time I had the Bonzai bowl with black beans, white rice, extra pico de gallo, a side of cilantro, and added steak. SO. GOOD.
The other time I went I was there for the Happy Thursday Bike Ride and had a margarita.
I wish I could’ve went there more, I would love to try everything on the menu.
