Trying to sell property when you live out-​of-​area is tough! Tom and Beth were the reason my sale went through seamlessly! And it wasn’t easy! I had to have a couple of doors replaced and some wallpaper. The building was also not easily accessible.
And yet they took care of all the details perfectly.
The property sold quickly.
A couple of things that really stood out for me. They work tirelessly and timely. Beth knows tools and can fix things. She also has a GREAT eye for design and put small signs on things to draw attention to details that are often overlooked yet really add to the quality of the home.

I believe the BEST Boulder area realtors are Tom and Beth White– O’Connor. I could honestly write a book about the ways they exceeded our expectations, both in selling our home and then buying our new home. They really put their heart and souls into helping us prepare our home so it would look its absolute best with mostly inexpensive updates. They were happy to pitch in and work on the house themselves, lining up people to help with some bathroom updates, and finding the right accessories to show off our home. I strongly feel that it was their expertise in preparation and staging and then holding multiple open houses that sold our home in 12 days! The other homes in our neighborhood had been on the market for over a year! Then they helped us find just the right house to buy and worked it out so we could close on both homes in one day– it came off perfectly!
Tom and Beth are very caring and fun to work with. They made us feel that we were their top priority and were always in communication by phone, text, or email. They are extremely organized and proactive about all the details, making this a fun and less stressful process. We were very impressed with their negotiating skills both on the buying and selling end; we were very happy with the price for the sale and purchase. Everything went smoothly with inspections and contracts– they stayed on top of any concerns we had about the process.
We now consider Beth and Tom good friends, and we would never consider using any other realtors in the future.

We chose Tom and Beth White-O’Connor to sell our Boulder house although they were relatively new agents at the time. Their dedicated efforts got our house sold in 2 months in a generally bad market for real estate, while others in the neighborhood are still for sale. We attribute that to the marketing strategy and presentation of our house, in which Beth and Tom were intricately involved. Their market analysis and pricing recommendation proved to be on target. In addition, they previously had a home improvement business (Aligned Designs), so their judgment about improvements to make before marketing the house was very good, and included a stager’s recommendations. They also showed great creativity with their advice to highlight features with signs around the home and use professional photography for flyers and websites.
Other agents we considered pushed back on doing open houses, but Tom and Beth held almost weekly open houses for our property, which resulted in approximately 75 people viewing our home and at least a dozen of these requesting follow-​up showings. Many flyers were distributed in surrounding neighborhoods to supplement internet announcements and encourage attendance. Beyond planned events, real estate is a game that requires follow-​up to get feedback and pursue offers. Beth and Tom devoted exceptional energy to selling our home and really rose to the occasion during our negotiations, through several rounds of tricky counteroffers, and we were able to sell close to our asking price during a time of downward pressure on real estate prices. We especially relied on their team to find a good strategy for accepting a contingent offer and securing a backup offer.
Tom and Beth also realize that selling a house is an emotional experience for most people. They showed personal sensitivity to the feelings we had at the time and said things that made some of the stressful times easier. Great communication skills helped their dealings with us, in person and remotely after we moved, and with the agents and buyers involved in our sale.
