Are you kidding me? I have been sitting in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. At least 5 sitting at the speaker waiting for someone to acknowledge me. What a joke. Get up to the window and they haven’t even started my food. Who manages this place?

This place is amazing — if you can stand the snooty clientele. I’ve tried to get in here several times during their much sought after lunch specials and it’s really hard to get a table. They don’t take reservations, so don’t bother calling ahead. When me and my party finally did get a table, we were thrilled to see that they had the famous Mountain Dew, ‘Baha Blast’ on tap. A rare treat. The staff is friendly and courteous, but maybe a little snooty which I guess I can understand since their clientele usually consists of Boulder’s top elite professionals, politicians and diplomats. Don’t worry about them messing up your order. They’ve figured out an ingenious system of calling your name when your food is ready. I guess you don’t become one of Boulder’s standout dining experiences without a little innovation. I usually get the T6(when I can get a table) and it’s always delightful. I love the array of homemade sauces they provide, though ‘Hot’ is phenomenal. Now, if you go here, get ready for a little ‘sticker shock’ — they don’t provide the best service and best food in town on the cheap. My entrée was around $ 6 if you can believe that. But it’s worth it. Good luck getting in!

This Taco Bell doubles as a KFC — maybe they should stick to tacos. The menu said $ 5.89 I paid $ 8.81 for: 1 single soggy orginal recipe breast 1 warm cole slaw 1 tepid mash & gravy 1 soda 1 *delicious* biscuit(that much was good) NOSPORK or any other utensils NORECEIPT to EXPLAIN the excess charges for the classic combo– I can get an entire 8-piece fried chicken dinner across the street at the King Soopers deli, guys; you’re going to have to do better than that. I won’t be back to this location again.

From a food standpoint, it’s fast food. It’s hard to screw that up too badly(although it does happen). Really, reviews of fast food places are more towards the service(which can change from week to week) and cleanliness of the establishment. I will stop in here when gaming at Karliquin’s just down the street. Most of the time, the service is very poor. It seems to take several minutes to process a few tacos or put a couple of pieces of chicken in a box, even when I’m the only guy at the counter. In the summer, there does seem to be a few extra flies imported specifically for the increased ambiance. What would a fast food place be without flies? In general, the food is acceptable. When I want a couple of tacos and a burrito or a few pieces of chicken strips, the meal is fine. Having to wait several minutes for such food defeats the whole idea of «fast» food.
