Best ice cream in Boulder! First time here and I just had to try it. It did. Not. Disappoint! Great flavors! They rotate most of their flavors every two weeks. Amazing and very friendly staff! Will definitely go back!

I’m from California and I visited Denver to see my family and they took me here, it was absolutely delicious! The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have special ice creams made a limited time only and when that runs out, newer ones are created. My favorite one ever is their lucky charms ice cream! Highly satisfying on a rainy or hot day.

What’s not to love about Sweet Cow, a very welcome addition to the food scene in SoBo! We moved out of the ‘hood in December, but Sweet Cow keeps us coming back for their deliciously creamy, dreamy dairy concoctions. I admittedly tend to get stuck in an ice cream rut(Buttered Pecan is my sweet of choice), but manage to get in my licks of other flavors — usually to the chagrin of my husband and son. I highly recommend bringing along some friends so you, too, can explore the extensive sweet cow menu. It is far less expensive to the waistline than ordering a triple scoop 3 days a week! ;-) So glad this yummy shop has opened its second Boulder location. Love it!

How did I not know that they had opened another shop in south Boulder, in the Table Mesa shopping center? In fact, it is right next door to the space occupied by Baskin Robbins back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, when it was one of the few scoop shops in town and when I used this shopping center on a more regular basis for so many things, mostly long gone by decades. This Sweet Cow opened last month and by staff corroboration, with little fanfare. I consume very little dairy and for a non-dairy frozen treat, I have an over the top fav elsewhere in Boulder. But sometimes just a teeny tiny amount of actual ice cream is needed. Until Sweet Cow, there was only one place near to me to get a very, very small serving, but more than a taster spoon, of a quality ice cream. The TINY size at Sweet Cow was meant for people like me. And today they had my fav real ice cream blend, a coffee ice cream base with a chocolate highlight, in this case a chocolate fudge with nuts. In fact, back in the«old» days at the BR here it was almost always Jamocha Almond Fudge for me. Now if someone would bring back the«Tanganilla» for my husband! This location is closer to me and it seems roomier with easier parking than North Broadway, but then, that could be time of day too. I’ll update if that changes, like on a Friday night when Southern Sun is packed.

YUMMM!!! I LOVE this place! So glad they’ve come to SOBO! Great ice cream, service, and atmosphere just like all the other sweet cows :) Seating is pretty sparse though(the tables you see nearby are not in fact Sweet Cow’s tables, but rather belong to their restaurant neighbors) so if you’re planning on making an evening of it with your kids, maybe head to the Louisville shop for now.

Can’t beat the cookie dough! Ask for a small split between two flavors – that’s the best

Good ice cream. The waffle cone was made in house– super yummy. Shakes were great too!

Whoever gave Sweet Cow a bad review was a a Baugh Humbug! This place is great! Our servers were very happy and helpful. The kids were stoked on their scoops coated in sprinkles. Mine was peanut butter & chocolate brownie! It was like MY childhood was being relived along with my short companions. This Sweet Cow, like the others, is high on atmosphere. In fact, this one has a disco ball! I mean an ice cream store with a DISCBALL?! Sure! Why not?! Compared to Louisville this location doesn’t have any outdoor seating. They make up for that with the big windows. It would be nice to have a few bistro tables outside. Maybe soon!

Great location, clean, a welcome addition to table mesa shopping area first impression: wow! Yet workers were grumpy and hurrying and stern, really? They didnt smile or say welcome to anyone, serious types. The ice cream was very tasty! Yet a bit watery, we prefer more cream.
