This location blows to the max. Worst service ever — rude and slow. Tried to order a sandwich today at 6pm and the extremely stoned guy behind the counter mumbled something about a «rough lunch» and then turned his back to me and started prepping or something. Perhaps the most blatantly horrible service I have ever received. I just walked out. Will never return. Wish I could rate 0. Sandwiches aren’t even that good anyways.

Awesome atmosphere and nice employees. Unfortunately I ordered a BLT and a Pastrami sandwich and received NO lettuce or tomatoes on the BLT, and the Pastrami was sort of a gooey consistency. Hopefully my next experience will be better with them because of their ability to deliver in the gunbarrel area. Will give it another shot in a couple weeks. I love all the snarf locations in Boulder so I hope this one steps it’s game up, it certainly has the cosmetic features and atmosphere to be very successful.

First let’s start with the basics, ordered online(which was super easy, even tho i don’t really trust internet ordering), i asked for extra meat and a friendly employee called me to inform me that it would be $ 1.50 extra, but online ordering doesn’t pick that up. So i paid over the phone for the extra, easy peasy. Delivery was quicker than expected, the driver was just over the top friendly and seemed to be enjoying himself. Positivity, it’s contagious! I got something from the ‘off the menu’ menu and as usual it was freaking tasty(something something club). Toasted bread was on point, and the extras were not falling out of the sammy. All good proportions and was possible to eat without a fork to scrape up the deserting ingredients. Now onto the nuances. I made a terrible mistake. The double meat. At the *&#% sandwich stores double meat usually = normal east coast amount of meat. Not this time… oh no not this time. So this off the menu club already comes with double bacon… so i can only assume was the entire core of this megalith meat-beast was just pure bacon. Every bite… bacon… and turkey, potentially an entire turkey. I can’t be sure because there were no bones… but it sure felt like they stripped an entire turkey of the good meat and wrapped it around 4 lbs of bacon… the fit it somehow in this meat submarine. Then ham… you thought it was just turkey? God no. So we have a full pigs worth of ham and bacon, soaked in an entire turkey… then layered with peppers, pickles, tomatoes and by using some kind of wizardry they fit the damn thing inside of a roll. I ate half the sandwich, started sweating. It was after 12 so i felt okay with getting a beer to help me handle what i had just ingested. I laid on my couch and watched some re-runs of Parks and Rec… sipping this beer and trying not to burp up an entire pork belly. Thankfully, pot is legal here in Colorado. So i indulged in such recreation, to try and settle my gluttony based self torture. It worked! Within half an hour i was ready to just take one more tiny bite… i ate the entire other half of the sandwich. Now i have migrated from the couch, to bed. It’s 5pm. Im stoned, have three beers in me. A small startup farms worth of livestock digesting, and i think i may pass away. 10⁄10 would do it again. Keep up the good work. BTW that delivery driver was great.

This place is just not good, look for other options if you have the option. Food: Average to below average. The bread is consistently over toasted, the ingredients are unappetizing, however there is a large selection. Price: Overpriced/Bad value. A foot long will cost you $ 13+ including tax, which is about $ 5 more than I’m willing to pay for an average sub. Service: Slow and inattentive. It took two employees 20 minutes to make 4 sandwiches and they had to repeatedly ask the customers to clarify their orders.

Although I just commented and gave 5 stars for the food(yes, it’s delicious), BUYERBEWARE if you order a CATERINGORDER. When you pick up the order, they present you with a credit card slip with the total only, and a tip line.(no itemized receipt). Naturally, I always add a $ 20-$ 30 tip to a $ 100 order. Last week, I «accidently» saw, that they ADDEDON a 15% gratuity automatically. So instead of getting $ 20-$ 30, I have been tipping $ 30-$ 40. And although the catering brochure says it will be added on(fine print), NOTONCE has the cashier said to me «oh by the way, we already added on a gratuity». Instead, «cha ching» is probably what they are thinking. When I questioned it today, the gal at the registered seemed very«un-interested». Sadly, I will never tip them again, so my $ 20-$ 30 will be a meager $ 12 or so,(automatic 15%), from here on out.

This is kind of summed up with other reviewers — the folks working are consistently botching orders — Ordered a Turkey sandwich w/no cheese: had cheese. Ordered an italian w/no hot peppers: had hot peppers. Ordered a super club no mayo: had mayo. Last time we went after ordering and sitting at a table for 10 or so mins w/my family, I decided to go grab something at the liquor store next door — When I got to the register I didn’t have my credit card in my wallet. I searched all of my pockets then went back to Snarfs to ask my wife if she grabbed it. Nope. We both started searching her purse, my wallet, all of our pockets and I went back to the counter(food still wasn’t ready) and asked if they had my card. The gent at the counter smiled and said«yeah, I forgot to give it back to you». There were two other tables(not busy) and even then I had to say«can I have it back?» — I had already paid and tipped… really bizarre. I love Snarfs and this is a new location but it’s been consistent to the point where we will grab food from the other locations. Will try again as it is near our house but currently it is easier to go to a different location

Sandwiches are good but nothing to write home about. What is awful here is the wait… literally 20 – 30 minutes even at the end of the lunch rush. Ridiculous!

Went in tonight for the 4⁄20 Pot Roast special that we had received multiple promotional emails for over the past week. We were informed by a cocky cashier they were out of roast beef because«everyone beat us to it». Asked if they would make a same price substitution for any other sandwich on the menu. Nope. Way to send out mass emails advertising a special and not honoring them Gunbarrel Snarfs. :/

I love snarfs. But I ordered the eggplant parm via the mobile app. I got my sandwich and when I finally got home al the veggies that I wanted we not on the sandwich and everything I didn’t, I got. Which basically once I picked it all off I had marinara bread. Worst snarfs experience at this newer restaurant.

Too expensive. We ordered 3 sandwiches, two 7 inch and 15 inch, a brownie and a pickle and it came out to 31 dollars. I recommended this to my wife and I regret it.

The staff seem to be in a frenzy whenever I’ve come in… customer service is lacking big time. The first time I came in to this location a couple of the staff were playing around with a paper airplane behind the counter and hit me in the head with it while I was waiting for my food… I was not one bit thrilled about that experience. The food is good, so it’s unfortunate that the customer service is so poor.

Thrilled to have Snarf’s in the neighborhood! Based one some of the previous reviews, I’d say they’re improved and are up to the quality & service I’ve come to expect. Great bread, my BLT sandwich made quickly & exactly as I ordered with a delicious vanilla shake. If you’ve had issues before, I say give this new Snarf’s another chance. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Finally — a gourmet sandwich shop with a real Boulder vibe comes to Gunbarrel. The most amazing sandwiches and a cool staff. Try the prime rib n provolone — I know other sandwiches are great but this is my go-to order every time

I really want to like this place. The atmosphere is quirky and the staff is too. Overall, it has a cool vibe that’s different from your typical deli. Unfortunately it’s got a few problems. The music makes it hard to hear your name and the service feels slow, but the worst part is how often they mess up my order. About half of the time they get something wrong. It’s a total bummer when I get home and find out my sandwich has things I didn’t order on it. If you’re a picky eater like I am, save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere.

Great sandwiches, but I will agree with other reviewers here. They just can’t get things right. Last time I went I paid for a super club, and got back to my desk to find a piece of bread with turkey and lettuce. Nothing else. So disappointed.

Not sure why there are so many poor reviews, this place is awesome! My hubby and I had the eggplant parmesan and the meatball parmesan, respectively, and shared a cup of chicken poblano soup. Everything was amazing! I was most impressed by the bread, which was crisp and toasty, but not so toasted that it tears up the roof of your mouth. Win! I will say we came after the lunch rush, so I can’t really comment on the long lines, as we had no wait and the food came out fast. I will definitely be back to try more of Snarf’s tasty sandwiches!

I LOVE Snarfs, but I’ll never go back to this location. I have gone there three times, and my food has come out incorrectly EVERYSINGLETIME. I went today, when my order was wrong again, and someone who I believe to be a manager did not even apologize or offer to buy it. Not good customer service.

The staff is in need of some serious ServSafe training. So I love Snarf’s and their sandwiches but I had to give my feedback on the new location in Gunbarrel. The low rating is not for the food. The sandwiches are awesome. It’s for the staff. I was there on 9÷20÷15 at around 1pm. While I was waiting several minutes for my sandwich to be made I had lots of time to observe. There were 3 young gals behind the counter who were cute & trendy but their hair is hanging in their faces and too close to the food for my comfort. Hair should be pulled back. This doesn’t mean in a braid/ponytail hanging in front of their shoulders near the prep table. I saw one gal take her hair band out and readjust her ponytail near the sandwich assembly line! That is not sanitary at all! Saw the same young gal wipe her mouth/nose with gloves on several times while she was making sandwiches. She never switched gloves or washed her hands after doing so. Gross! I think this is due to her age and a lack of training from the management. I am a former food service manager so I might notice these things maybe more than most people. Not sure I’ll go back to this location for a while which is a pity because I was super stoked about a Snarf’s moving to Gunbarrel. This is an easy think to fix so I hope they do. I know Snarf’s is a hip, casual joint but that shouldn’t be at the expense of proper food safety. Maybe a helpful reminder to the staff that people are watching and see everything they do on that line.
