Finally got a chance to try this place out after living in Boulder for over a year. I got a vanilla café latte and loved it! Got it to go, but there appears to be ample seating in the place. Chairs look comfortable too. I will have to come back sometime!

I love coming to this café because of the comfy chairs and relaxed vibe, but after today I’ll probably not invest in this guy’s business ever again. I’m a restaurant professional myself and I know that customer service is what sets the successful businesses apart. I asked the owner which burritos are spicy and explained that I am extremely sensitive to heat– he wasn’t too sure about them and neither were his employees, so I went with what the label said and chose one myself. It was spicy. I came back to the counter and sheepishly asked for some sour cream or anything to cut down the spice. They don’t have any. That was their answer. They didn’t offer another burrito because they clearly have a dissatisfied customer. Nope. Whatever. You can just sit there and eat your gross overpriced burrito and we don’t care. Awesome job guys! You just lost a regular customer.

Excellent tea selection, very comfortable environment. Great place to buckle down and get some work done. And I love places that don’t charge you like $ 5 for a squirt of agave. In fact, the agave is self-serve! Happy day! Ample parking, not like downtown coffeeshops. Did I mention the amazing tea selection??? 2 Thumbs Up :)

I’ll try again in a weekday, but this Sunday morning, 11am was weird. The place was 1⁄3rd full but eerily quiet. I waited at the counter for about 3 min for someone to finally come over. She said hi. One word, that’s it. Never spoke to me again, not one word. The only time someone else spoke to me was 10 min later upon collecting my Mocha. So the customer service was just lousy. The location is good. Plenty of parking, and the entire front is shaded as it faces North. Plenty of nearby grass for doggies to do their business. No water bowl for the doggies outside though. The coffee was served in a paper cup. I was never asked if it was to-go or dine-in. The coffee itself was comfort coffee. Smooth, but bland, lacking any kind of body. Could not taste any chocolate at all. Was too sweet. This is what many coffee shops drinks are becoming. Sweet, warm wet stuff. The WiFi is excellent. It’s the best I have encountered so far in a Boulder coffee shop. I am now reviewing WiFi on all my reviews as its now an essential element in dining establishments. See the attached screenshot. 3 stars due to the miserable customer service and bland coffee, but there’s a lot of potential here. This part of town needs a good coffee shop, so I hope they up their game and stick around. I aim for fair reviews based on being a former chef and a life of global travel and dining from Michelin star restaurants to hole-in-the-wall joints. Israel Anderson Find me online.

I stopped in here one rainy afternoon wanting something hot to drink. I ordered a pumpkin spice chai — I would return for the drinks, no doubt. The coffee shop seemed like a comfy place to hang out, but I didn’t stay since it was packed full and seating was limited. Not sure I would choose here if I had a deadline approaching and needed to concentrate without distraction.

Wow. Saturday is my low energy day after a week of commuting, and I swung by Red Rock for a much needed pick me up. I got a Shot in the Dark at 10 am, and I was still wired at midnight, no exaggeration. I splurged on a breakfast burrito, which turned out to be gluten free(I’m not) but pretty tasty, full of green chilis and piping hot from the microwave. Oh well. $ 8 was more than I wanted to spend, but it was a good experience, and I’ve already been back.

Loved the coffee and bacon breakfast burrito. They were the only place open Sunday morning before 7am, which was why I went! I sat outside and enjoyed the crows song.

Fantastic coffee! Regular or latte, go with it. This is a place you will not be disappointed with. GETTHECOOKIES! They’re always fresh. 5-star worthy, but for out-of-towners, beware, because it’s a little frustrating finding the place. The food and coffee live up to the hype, but good grief, Charlie Brown. Be careful listening to your GPS and being alert. Ours started to take us in circles. Nonetheless, it’s worth getting lost. The coffee and snacks meet the hype. Restrooms are INCREDIBLE. Some of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Wow! The rest of the area is pretty cool. Standard coffee shop stuff with some nice chairs and decent music in the background. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy.

I drink lattes daily. I make them at home, go to Starbucks, & other local coffee shops. I just had THEBESTLATTE I have had in years. Came into Red Rock Coffee house to get some work done. Beautifully decorated & not too noisy to work. Fast friendly service & again… the best latte ever. Smooth flavor & plenty of heavy foam. Too bad I live in Denver or I’d be here everyday!

Overall, real quality coffee experience, but not without its ups and downs. At my first visit, I requested the cashier’s recommendation for the most popular item ordered and his answer was the Colorado spice latte. It seemed promising enough. Unfortunately, the concoction proved to be uncomfortably saccharine. The drink resembled close to a cinnamon chai flavor maybe? Almost pumpkin inspired. Not something I’d personally order regularly, but I can see the amateur coffee goer definitely digging it. You’d think with that, I’d call it one and done and cross red rocks off my coffee shop list. But I surprisingly keep returning despite its bad first impression. My general review of the establishment itself is comfortable. The seating options are ideal for setting up camp for a long day of work. They have these extremely ergonomic booths that my back craves when I have to crack down for a couple hours. The space is roomy and there are AMPLE electric outlets. It’s a college student’s study dream. But the only caveat is that every time I’ve come here, some really strange distraction pops up every time. My 2nd visit, a couple of women seemed to be quite audibly religiously chanting in the corner for reasons beyond me. A later visit featured some man wearing a bro tank and flip flops(ew) flouncing into the coffeehouse full of quiet and hardworking customers, demanding free water and making a huge scene as he exited with said water badmouthing the business. I guess these experiences should really be attributed to the unique personalities familiar to Boulder, CO and not red rock’s problem because the staff is very polite there, but it does make me wonder what’s going to happen at my next visit… Anyway, overlooking that, there is still saving grace in red rock’s coffee as their vanilla latte does not disappoint. I try to order a vanilla latte everywhere to standardize my coffee shop experiences for the best comparison and I can attest to red rock’s vanilla latte to being several steps above Starbucks and other popular coffee stops. Nothing especially mind blowing, but homey nonetheless. Warm and on the sweeter side with an interesting after taste that I’m not complaining about.

The best coffee I’ve found in Boulder so far, and I’ve tried plenty. I love the atmosphere here, always a good place to study. Giant fan of how they don’t charge extra for soy milk. I’m lactose intolerance so it’s nice not to have that .60-.90 cents extra add up. It is a bit of a drive from where I live, but definitely worth it!

Great staff, service and coffee! Often times the space is completely full and difficult to find seating or workspace unless you’re there at the crack of dawn or get lucky.

The gluten-free cakes were good, however both the latte and chai were«meh» at best. I threw mine out after drinking only ¼ of it.

I can’t tell what’s better here! Is the coffee? The food? Or the awesome, friendly service? I can’t decide! It’s all great!

Not a bad latte, stopped in on the way home from work. It was fairly packed and busy but they still got the coffee out pretty quickly. The place was clean and the people were nice. I’m not positive if they have free wifi but I’m fairly certain they did since there were so many people on their computers.

This is my favorite coffeeshop in Boulder. It isn’t pretentious. The coffee is gorgeous. The staff are kind and efficient. The atmosphere is friendly but also great for studying. The clientele is varied. I can’t express my adoration enough. A lovely little place with almost no downsides. Strong recommendation for anyone looking for a nice spot to sit and write.

Such a cute little coffee house that definitely has a big fan base. It was packed when I came in on a Sunday afternoon. I didn’t mind, because I was getting my coffee to go. The staff were friendly and helpful when I was picking my drinks. The positives of this place are that they offer almond milk(my fav) and some gluten free treats. The cons are that the menu is quite small and they don’t(at the date of visit at least) offer blended drinks. Bonus: They have a quarter machine to get chocolate covered espresso beans, which is pretty rad.

Okay. I like coffee. I want coffee. I need coffee. I love coffee. Double Espresso. This wasn’t coffee. It looked like coffee. It kind of smelled like coffee. It tasted like«bitter dog sweat.» I know, dogs don’t really sweat, but yikes, this was awful. Yes, the place is cute, cozy, but I just wanted an espresso. I would have given it one star except the service was great. Please, get some real coffee beans.
