I have several chronic conditions including chronic pelvic pain and IBS. By far the worst is the pelvic pain. I’ve had surgery, physical therapy and many medications over the years. Physical therapy helped but acupuncture with Sheila has helped more.
Sheila is a caring and extremely competent health care professional. She listens and truly tailors your treatment to your needs and concerns. I can see why she is on the staff of Good Samaritan Hospital.
I had tried acupuncture before with no results. With Sheila I not only have improved but improved dramatically after my most recent flare up.
I was a skeptic but have become an enthusiastic believer of acupuncture and herbal treatment… with Sheila. I drive an hour each way to see her and it is so worth it!

Sheila is awesome. Fact. She’s one of those rare finds where you can relax and enjoy your time with a pleasant and funny practitioner who is as knowledgeable as they come. As a bodyworker myself I’m continually surprised at the results i get when I see her, a wonderful surprise every time! If you have anything in your body going on, you should see Sheila, her ability to listen and put together what you need is uncanny, and her herbal concoctions are great too! Stop reading and call her! NOW!!!

Sheila is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen. She’s sort of my go-​to for all things doctors can’t fix (which is almost everything). She’s helped me cure yeast infections overnight, gotten rid of weird muscle pains, helped me get out of anxiety attack mode, changed my menstrual cycle permanently (in a good way), gotten rid of painful pressure in my eardrum, helped me sleep better, and right now she’s helping me with pain from a torn labrum in my shoulder that nobody else could help with.
She’s an amazing herbalist and an astute needler, and when she needs to take a moment to research something before she makes a move, she does. That’s not something most practitioners will do, and I respect her a lot for it.
She also really listens to me about what’s going on, which I appreciate. Overall, if I could give her 10 stars, I would. I’ve been seeing her for as long as she’s been an acupuncturist, and I’ll continue to do so. I’m actually living in Boulder right now partly so that I can see her on a weekly basis for my shoulder. I’ve been traveling around the country for the past year rock climbing and there is NOBODY like her anywhere else that I’ve found. I could go on and on, but in a word, she’s the best :)
