Good pizza by the slice. Asked for pineapple on top. Many options of thin slices and Sicilian. Quick service, nice guys. Seating in back with room that was air conditioned well.

Best pizza in Boulder. I am visiting from NYC and this is the closet I have found to the real thing — thank you colore for not letting me lose all hope in society outside of my home town.

This place is reliable, convenient, and affordable. It can be tough to find quick and inexpensive food on the mall, but Pizza Colore manages it. Pizza can be purchased by the slice and water is free. It’s a bit more to add toppings, but still reasonable. The store front is narrow and easy to miss, but worth the search if you are on a budget.

Great pizza! Fast & friendly service. Love the crust! Could make the toppings pieces bigger not so chopped. But it was stillll delicious. Ready in 10 minutes. Cool vibe at this pizza place.

Best Authentic NY Pizza in Boulder by far. Unfortunately, Colore does not know how to market itself; thus, they continue to get crushed by mill the much lesser Cosmo’s Pizza. The first step would be to offer delivery just as late(3am). Much Love.

I grew up on LI and can say that this is best pizza I’ve had since moving out West 20 years ago! Must have!

Popped in on a cold, cold night. As a Texan out of her element, pizza was a warm comfort food I was more than willing to partake in. It’s kind of a hole in the wall on Pearl Street that sells pizza by the slice or as a whole pie. The crust was satisfyingly doughy and the red sauce is tangy and warm. Perfect for the biting weather. The dude behind the counter gave a strange answer when asked what his favorite was: cheese pizza with hot sauce. Really? I’m not going to order cheese pizza with hot sauce lol. Our friend took him up on it, though. The cheese pizza was good. It had that melted cheese pizza smell that would make the ninja turtles crap their pants, if they wore any. The«hot sauce» was a warmed cup of buffalo sauce. Gross! We got the supreme pizza and a Hawaiian pizza. The supreme pizza was loaded with bell peppers and olives. Our other friend loved the Hawaiian pizza(I’m not a fan of warm fruit). The water and soda is self-serve. There isn’t much seating in the back. Little pricey at close to $ 20 per full pizza, but they’re big and filling slices. Nice job workin’ the ovens, guys!

One of the best calzones I’ve ever had. They use a delicious blend of ricotta, herbs/seasonings, whipped together with mozzarella. Portions are generous and prize is very reasonable! Bathroom needs some updating and toilet is marginally functional, but the food makes up for those minor shortfalls. Great job guys!

Best pizza in boulder to my knowledge. Its amazing I had the basil pesto with sundried tomatoes, garlic and artichoke hearts. YEAH, its was kick ass and YEAH the ingredient were fresh. Let me continue with the fact I dislike crust and finding crust I’ll eat is something special. I ate all my crust and it was great. The pizza is a tad bit expensive but overall totally worth it $ 20.16 for 16″ pie.

An A-ok pizza, finished off with an awesome dessert. Pizza Colore is a pizza parlor that caters to those in need of a quick and tasty slice, especially after a long night partying(they are one of the only places within the Pearl St. area that offers food after the bars close, 2:00 am). Stopped by recently at around 9:00 on a thursday night for two slices of pizza and a carrot cake. The artichoke, red pepper, and olive white pizza was good, yet the olives overpowered the rest of the flavors — could have used more cheese too. As for the pepperoni white pizza, it was great — the spice from the pepperoni complimented the buttery goodness of the rest. I exchanged greetings with«Julio»(that’s what they told me his name was) while waiting in line, who I came to learn wasn’t only a cool dude, but made the desserts there. Unlike most places around here, Pizza Colore makes their own desserts: baked goods that encompass much more than their cannolis. I went with the carrot cake; it was possibly the best carrot cake I have ever had — the icing was rich and creamy, the cake was moist and decadent, and it definitely went down great with a belgian pale ale(not supplied by Colore). The staff was friendly and accommodating: willing to honor a few pizza punchcards for slices, offer some additional punches, and provide the option for a custom pizza if wanted, the trip was worth it. Despite the initial appearance upon entry, there is actually a decent sized seating area at the back of the restaurant with an additional two private bathrooms. Only complaint: the outdoor table against the window wobbled far too much.

I’ve enjoyed more late night slices at this pizza joint than I should admit. So many in fact that I went in last night to redeem multiple punch cards(this cool rainy weather really has me craving some warm and indulgent fare). Yes folks even during their busiest times of day the staff are always happy to either punch your existing punch card or start a new one for you(buy ten slices get the 11th for a penny). My favorite slice has to be the pesto either on its on or topped with pepperoni. The napkins are kept behind the counter so if you like to dab any oil/grease from the top of your slice be sure to request extra napkins when paying. There are always several pies to choose from — from thin crust to deep dish. You can always add that favorite topping for a bit more but somehow I seem to wait until I’m absolutely ravenous to get in for my pie. Last night was a calm one and I am happy to have taken the time to actually check out their dessert offerings as well as to relax and eat my pizza on their patio. Cannoli’s aren’t really my thing so I didn’t find them enticing though they do offer both plain and chocolate covered. I decided to go for the carrot cake as it looked absolutely fabulous. Thick white frosting and whole walnuts to boot. We found out from speaking to the staff that the carrot cake is fresh made in store by their chef Julio and boy can you tell it was made with care. I am huge on desserts and all things sweet and I am so excited to share this stellar find. The cake was delightfully dense and the carrot slivers were large enough to see but not distractingly large or noticeable to chew. If you aren’t in mood for a slice I most definitely recommend snagging their carrot cake! It is extremely delicious and I will be returning sooner than later for another piece.

Fantastic! Pizza by the slice is a pretty good price, pizza as a whole can get a bit pricey — but very worth it, when you can see the make the entire thing fresh! And that freshness definitely is shown in the taste, yumm! We will order a pizza to go, and a slice to eat while we wait for our pizza. So good.

I found this pizza place via Unilocal and love it. I’m visiting from New Jersey and this place beats out any pizza shops I’ve been to(sorry Jersey). I had the pesto sauce cheese and the white. Delicious!

Pizza was decent, staff was nice, soup was decent but none of it was anything special. I had a slice of pepperoni and a cup of creamy chicken noodle soup. My boyfriend had lobster bisque soup and it tasted too lobstery… idk how else to describe it but he had a couple spoon fulls and decided he did not like it. We sat in and ate. It wasnt really nice or anything, but either way it was just pizza by the slice. Not bad but nothing special!

Pizza Colore has a great location right on the Pearl Street Mall. But don’t base your impressions on the pizza shop’s appearance — it’s not much to look at and the décor is pretty spartan. The pizza, however, is pretty decent and they have a nice variety of pizzas — which are typically sold by the slice but are also available as a full pie. My wife and I split 3 slices so we got to try a variety. The pesto pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and articoke hearts was very good. My wife’s favorite was a pizza with a ranch dressing based sauce, ham and pineapples. Our 3rd slice had a thicker style crust and was heavy on the veggies — also excellent. Maybe not the best pizza in the world — but certainly pretty good pizza in an excellent location. Worth stopping in.

Quick and simple. We stopped in here for a slice. The three cheese, white sauce pizza was enough to fulfill my appetite. My boyfriends Sicilian slice wasn’t very good. His sauce was bland and it was overall a lifeless slice. And what the heck? Pay for a refill? Who pays for refills when the soda dispenser is on the customer’s side of the register… it’s like a trap. It’s like they’re asking me to steal more soda!

Nothing fancy, but only place ON Pearl St. that offers Za by the slice. The staff are typical stoner funky freaks, but friendly and part of why you are on Pearl St to start with. Went with friends and their kids who are pretty picky eaters. Kids loved the standard cheese slice and each asked for a second! There is seating in the back, but if weather is nice you can take your slice and sit out on the mall and watch the world go by. Enjoy!

Had a Slice of Pesto Pizza and a Slice of White Pizza with Pineapples and Pepperoni. Its a Combo Deal with a Soda for 7.29 and the slices are a nice size. They also have a Combo Deal with a Salad if you want to eat healthy for part of your meal. They have a sign up that they charge for refills but I didn’t see anyone checking. The Pizza is tasty, a lil greasy but its a pizza its supposed to be greasy. The Crust is delicious. They serve cannolis and nice sized chocolate chip cookies. The seating is in the back which is spacious and they have a bar by the front window with a few stools. They are friendly as well when serving up your Pie. If the weather is right you can sit outside as well.
