This review is for the «recreational» side of dispensary, where we went to get medicinal marijuana. As you probably already know, getting «medicinal» pot at a medicinal dispensary requires a doctor’s visit and a form, which eventually gets you a state-​issued card. By contrast, «recreational» dispensaries seem to be able to sell you medicinal pot. I suppose it’s an artifact of medicinal pot laws.
Anyway, we went here to get a non-​opiod pain medication for my 80+ year old mom. Very friendly guy at the front desk carefully explained Sativa vs. Indica strains and then recommended a cream-​based pain reliever. I appreciate his patience with my mom’s many questions and strong opinions! The 20-​something bros who were behind us waiting for a fix probably required two minutes each vs. our 10+ minute consultation.

This dispensary is THE bomb. It’s both medical and recreational so don’t worry about leavin friends and family behind. They have a large selection, but their flower is just as dank. Sometimes they even have multiple-​cross generics which I’ve found somewhat rare in the Boulder area. And I can’t really pick a favorite because lots are.
Don’t be nervous either. Staff will communicate with you on an honest and very social level. Real stoner counter culture! (I’ve talked about paranormal before)
Although they’re tucked away, they ARE in a strip mall with Best Buy close by too for the geeks out there; among other things.
Lastly… I recommend becoming a member. You won’t regret it.

I went to Magnolia Road on the medical side everyone was so friendly and helpful, my favorite strain was the toxic Avengers, a potent and smooth indica with sweet notes of Girl Scout cookies, another favorite was Shrek an intoxicating and euphoric and pungent sativa. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and I consider it the best deal in town. The staff is great and they are genuinely happy when you get a good deal the first time I’ve seen that attitude in this business!
