madelife is definitely a must see for anyone visiting, or anyone has not yet stopped by. Everything in the store represents absolutely unique and refined taste. Everything from the art to the jewelry is one of a kind. Beyond the store front, madelife offers a wide range of community oriented events, from the monthly art openings, to the music/photo/video/graphic design workshops, it truly is a resource and hub for artists of all mediums. This is the one place in Boulder that personally fulfills my cultural and artistic pursuits and interests.

This space filled with various local artists. From jewelry to hanging art to furniture, you’re likely to find a piece to fall in love with. Open and enormous windows give lots of natural light on this clean and modern space which made it easy to spend close to a half an hour oo’ing and aww’ing at the unique finds. We were greeted by the nice dude who was working and felt welcome. Shipping prices on some art pieces were a little steep — next time I’m in Boulder with a car, I’ll go to town!

I made my husband drive back after our lunch because I was intrigued by the window. My husband, myself and my daughter(a textile designer in Nyny) went in. Not one of us acknowledged by the two young women there. Great pieces by artists and designers are not being well represented by this space. Wouldn’t spend a dime.

My fiancée and I really like this space!!! I’m not sure what the first reviewer is referring too. My Fiancée and I visit the store 2 to 3 times a month. MADE showcases fine furniture and locally crafted products. I have met several of the artists at local farmers markets, gallery walks, and craft shows. In my opinion, MADE is a great store with great products. My fiancée has purchased some clothing and beauty supplies and loves them. I used to do a lot of fine wood working and I think it is unfortunate that handmade pieces at MADE are compared to IKEA products. IKEA makes affordable crap that breaks if you move it. It’s shameful to compare the two especially since the products at MADE are created by hand by local individuals trying to make a living. IKEA = poor quality. MADE = fine & precise quality contemporary/modern/retro products. As for customer service… I think they do a fine job. They have been forward with us, helpful, kind, and personal. These are qualities in sales persona that I’ve not experienced in other stores since living in a small town. I wrote this review based on the first review. I was a little upset that the opinion seems to be so harsh. It’s unfortunate that the reviewer did not like their experience. I definitely recommend taking a look at their unique(custom one-off) selections. The prices are higher than average, but then again, the products are hand made and created by talent rather than a cookie-cutter-like machine.
