I rarely am on this end of town, but when I am, I enjoy coming here. I peeled off a star for the parking, which can get a little grim, especially when Lucky’s is busy. Coffee and food is great, and during warm weather, outside seating is the best. If you’ve lived in Boulder for a while, it would be tough to come here not NOT run into an acquaintance.

I really liked that I was offered sparkling water with my coffee, even a cap. Sadly the cap was a latte, typical coffee shop problem, does anyone know how to make a cap correctly? 1⁄3rd each of espresso, milk and foam. Not a latte with extra foam. The coffee itself was not good. I couldn’t finish it. If not for the sparkling water I would have left 2 stars. WiFi was unstable and others beside me were complaining about it too. WiFi that«just works» is now a necessary component of getting a coffee.

It’s true. Best lattes in town. Friendly baristas. What else do you need??? Wifi was a little spotty last time I was in, but I’m not complaining about that.

The LAST thing I want to think about when I go in to get coffee and do work is «should I give this place a bad review». I order a house coffee light roast. She explains«it’s a free refill». Okay nothing new here compared to other places I get coffee. «That’ll be $ 2.30» So I hand her 3 dollar bills. And she just stands there and when I look like I’m waiting she says«Oh you wanted your change?» *** «Oh you wanted your change?» *** Exactly where did you learn to say this phrase«Oh you wanted your change?» What planet is this from? How do you make it roll off your tongue so effortlessly, like where you come from everyone says this sort of thing? And it felt premeditated. It’s a subtle play I’ve only seen 2 other times at other restaurants — there’s a sort of desperation or «you should feel stupid for wanting what’s yours» mixed into it, and it happens very fast. It’s almost like it’s not done consciously — like milking people for tips is what you’re supposed to do. When it’s a genuine mistake everyone knows«oops» and every laughs about it — nobody feels like some slight of hand has just happened. Logan’s Café is in the middle of a wealthy neighborhood in North Boulder, so I would expect them to not play games milking customer’s for tips or extra change. Money is still money. These sorts of games do nothing to make me feel comfortable and productive, which is why I leave my house to go find a place to park myself and do some work. I wound up just leaving them to go to Juilia’s Kitchen next door. They charge more there, but the attitude is 1000 times better. Sorry.

Logan’s is a warm, cozy coffee shop where the friendly staff treat you like family. The space is small and inviting. The cinnamon orange spice tea is amazing, I usually get a pot of it to share with a friend and a few of the gluten free pumpkin breads to pass around. They go very well together. I can’t personally comment on the coffee, but my coffee snob friend tells me that the barristers here make the best coffee and espresso drinks in Boulder. There is outdoor seating and free wifi. This is a comfortable and quiet place to get some work done or just relax.

Cute little coffee shop in this little plaza in north Boulder. It is within walking distance of our house. I love coming here on nice sunny days with the dog and sit on the patio. I always order an iced café mocha. The staff also seem very friendly.

It’s small, so if you’re used to your big box shove ‘em out coffee this is probably not your place. All right, now that I’ve attracted every hipster in the Boulder area, I will continue. It’s got pictures of New Zealand on the wall – a place that probably everyone has had a fantasy of going to after seeing The Lord of the Rings – that will give you something to talk about on your first date should you run through all of the ordinary boring questions/answers. The café is tucked away off the road, which you wouldn’t think would be a unique coffee shop feature but amazingly is. Most of the coffee shops in Boulder are by either a parking lot, Pearl, or Broadway, which just sucks if you ask me. Dear Lord, here you can relax in the shade and look at trees! But perhaps the best thing about this place is the general vibe that both my mother and I got from it. Sometimes you can’t put words to it but it just… feels right, which is vague, unhelpful, and doesn’t apply to everyone. But I think it is what every coffee shop aims for and this one hit. So good job Logan, whoever you are.

Visiting Boulder & staying in N. Boulder with our son, so we came here to find excellent americano & lattes; blueberry muffin was one if the best ever! Only odd thing is that they wanted $ 1.00 for a refill of regular coffee after I had already paid the premium for the americano; and one gets one free refill if one buys a regular coffee rather than an americano… weird policy! I would have given them 5 stars if they’d have offered a free refill on the americano.

My favorite coffee in Boulder. Drip, espresso, cold brew, you name it, they just make it better than anyone else. Way better then Ozo. Logan’s uses Boxcar which I prefer to anything else around here. Great staff!

What I loved about Logan’s Café was it was quiet and I don’t think many CU students know about it because it’s pretty far from campus, so that was nice. The place is sort of small, but there are outlets everywhere and free wifi! The barista was very nice and really took the time to make my coffee exactly the way I wanted it. They have a really nice patio outside but I get hot so easily that we stayed in the nice cool inside. It is sort of a drive(for me) but I would go back for sure!

Cute quiet coffee shop. The inside is a little small if you are looking for a good place to study. But they have a wonderful patio, dogs seem to be welcome as well! The baristas were nice and I would defiantly go back again.

As a small, independent coffee shop, one would think that customer service would be paramount. No so at Logan’s Café. We have bought pastries there which I have to believe, were«day old» or, older. When brought this issue to their attention, they apologized, grinned, and proceeded to ask if I wanted to «buy» more of the same ones! Really? Several weeks prior, we ordered three drinks and they mixed up the soy/milk order. What’re ya gonna do, eh? Well, there are many other excellent coffee shops in Boulder…

Well I’m glad everyone else gives this place good reviews. I, on the other hand, have never had a positive experience here. I’ve come to Logan’s about 4 times now, always hoping it will be better but sadly, I am disappointed. There is always one barista who acts very superior and argues with me about the coffee drink I want. They charge an extra dollar for half-calf, plus my latte is never hot, nor filled to the top. When I’m paying $ 6 for a latte, I expect it to be high quality. I have never experienced this quality, but my biggest complaint is the baristas and how they think they are coffee goddesses and the rest of us our peasants. Have the never heard of customer service? I will never go back here.

Logan’s is small, there’s a fight for parking and seating, and man-alive they are GOOOOOOOOD. I’ve never had anything less than a perfectly crafted beverage there. Like, seriously, perfect lattes and mochas, with enough bitter to let you know it’s espresso but so smooth that you know they use exquisite beans. Honestly, the only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that it’s a little out of the way and always a little bit close and hot in there for me. Bring cash or check — part of how they keep prices for their artistically awesome coffee low is cash and personal check only!

I drop in for a beverage at Logan’s at least once a week and I always have the same barista — she’s awesome. I love the consistency and the fact that I feel like a true«regular». I usually get a latte or a Bhakti Chai, sometimes an au lait, and all the drinks are always made expertly and with care. There’s also a great selection of pastries — the chocolate orange muffins are my favourite. GF options as well. There’s not that much seating inside the actual café but there are a lot of outdoor tables and a little plaza just next to the café where you can linger on a bench with friends. It’s also a nice enclosed space where I watch my toddler roam as I savour the beauty of delicious coffee.

There’s a reason why so many people gave this place 5 stars, it deserves 6. The coffee is very good, the pastries and cupcakes are excellent, and the service is top notch. My girlfriend is in love with the orange-chocolate cupcakes and when I called Logan’s they had one left, which they saved for us. When we got there, they didn’t treat us like the nut-cases we were for asking them to save it, instead, they happily chatted with us about my girlfriend’s orange-chocolate muffin addiction.
