As a stranger here in Boulder(I’m from Reno NV) I was looking for a simple place to grab some lunch. Linda’s looked inviting and I popped in. I was met by Jake who took my order and offered a friendly smile and made me feel like a regular customer. I had a «Build Your Own» roast beef sandwich, a bag of Boulder Cyn BBQ chips & a soda. It was PERFECT and hit the spot. If you’re in a similar mood and want a meal you will enjoy then give Linda’s a try!!!

I’m a bit disappointed in this joint. I came into Lindsay’s around 1:30 and it wasn’t too busy. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. I waited for about 20 minutes as I saw other people who ordered after me get their orders. It seemed as if they forgot about me and when I mentioned my order they made it right away and got it to me. The grilled cheese was disappointing, I don’t know what kind of cheese they use but it was cheesy at all and it just seemed like one piece of cheese wedged between rye bread. I was a bit upset about it. The soup was hot but didn’t taste too great. I think from now on I won’t be going here for lunch.

Consistently excellent food. Their Reuben’s are the best and Hagendaz shakes rule. And Lindsay herself is a wonderful person. She personally just delivered my food without even mentioning she was the owner. Nice to see the face of the business is a great person. Love this place, always great in a pinch especially when you need fast, friendly, reliable delivery.

Holy God the food is so amazing here! I had the New Yorker and it was one of the best sandwiches i have ever had. The customer service is absolutely amazing! Lindsay the owner is an absolute sweetheart and her staff is awesome. I got my food extremely fast. I will continue to go back to this top notch establishment.

Besides ice cream, they serve excellent coffee far beyond what starbucks or even Caribou have to offer. I had a great vegetarian soup and sandwich combo. Thumbs up.

I love this place. The soups and sandwiches are killer. The service is friendly. It is a little pricy– just paid $ 10 for just a sandwich with no sides or extras– and it does take a minute since everything is made from scratch, but I consider it money well spent on a great product from a local business. Cream of zucchini soup and the Ferris Brieler sandwich are where it’s at.

I come back time and again for the Trifecta sandwich. Can’t be beat. Being on the Pearl Street Mall makes this a fun place to get a meal, take a walk and relax. Evenings make this a great stop for ice cream. Kids are always taken care of.

The sandwiches here are to die for! I’ve had the TBA, TSA, and BLT and all three make me hungry just thinking about them. They know how to make great sandwiches here, and customer service is great! Everyone is friendly and the prices are reasonable– $ 8.99 for a half sandwich and soup or any salad from the menu? That’s 2 meals for me right there. We will definitely be back! Lindsay’s is hands-down the best deli in Boulder.

Stopped in to get a bite with my daughter. Ordering was no problem, the time it took to actually get our food on the other hand was. They brought out what I ordered to the table next to mine, mind you they got their order before mine and I was waiting patiently for 15 minutes. It doesn’t take that long to get a child a hot dog and put a Reuben together, even when toasting it. After the next table(that ordered more food than me and got there 10 minutes after me) got my order and theirs the server still had yet to get the hot dog for my child and that still took another five minutes. I thought they were slaughtering the cow and actually making the hot dog in back. Minus the lacking service on a not too busy day, the food was pretty good. I’m torn between eating there again the next time I go up to Boulder.

YUM. People, this place sells Haagen-Dazs ice cream. They’re nice, patient(with a self-diagnosed ice cream addict), and measure the weight to make sure you get what you’re paying for!(Sorry, I’m too lazy to figure out how not to end the preceding sentence without the preposition.) I haven’t had the soups or hot items, but as far as the ice cream goes, it’s amazing and delicious.

Everyone was super friendly and the food is delicious! Shout out to John for being super patient and letting me sample half the soups to make sure I made the right choice! First time in Colorado and will return again some day!

This was my second visit to Lindsays Boulder Deli. The first time wasn’t so good, and i was surprised that Lindsay herself emailed me to apologized for the poor service and treatment. The service and treatment that I received today was much improved. The cashier was fast and friendly and the food was fresh and flavorful. Thank you Lindsay for taking the time to care about your business and your customers.

Now before I get started here, let me tell you that it’s really hard to screw up a sandwich. Like, it’s bread and veggies and meat and you can’t really go wrong with all that. It’s a mindless meal to make. That being said though, Lindsay’s really knows what they’re doing with sandwiches. This was literally the healthiest meal I’ve had since I moved here to Colorado. My sandwich was stuffed to the core with veggies. Now see, I’m a carnivore and me and veggies don’t really get along all too well, but Lindsay’s actually made it edible for me. Maybe it’s because they chop up their veggies nice and fine so that instead of getting huge chunks of veggie flavor, you’re getting lots of little tiny bits and it all blends together to make this amazing flavor sensation. Definitely a pretty good choice for lunch if you’re in the downtown Boulder area. Gonna be keeping this spot in mind if I’m ever around!

I can tell you that this place is my go too spot whenever I am looking for a tasty sandwich, hearty soup, or some of the best ice cream around. Lindsay’s expanded a year ago to be what I would consider the best place for lunch in Boulder. From its prime location on Pearl and Broadway, to the huge ceilings and welcoming art work, this place can’t be beat for ambience, great food, and incredible prices! The best part… the staff! The employees there truly care about making your experience fun, while serving up great food, in a very timely manner. If you’re having a bad day, you won’t be once you leave here! Look no further for all your food and desert needs, Lindsay’s has it all! Just for food reference, I’ve had all of these and they won’t disappoint, they are my «go to options» Sandwich: –Reuben –TBA –Ferris Brieller Soups(All homemade) –Tomatoes Bisque and Chicken Noodle Any tasty Ice cream, as I love all the flavors! My favorite is either getting a dazzler(which is like an ice cream sundae) and a shake.

I’m divided on this place. Below are the reasons. This is like the only deli available in downtown Boulder. Standard sandwiches, great chicken salad, overall a solid place to grab a sandwich, soup or salad. The issue I have is with the level of efficiency. It takes probably 15 – 20 minutes for them to construct your sandwich, isn’t the whole point of a deli a quick and efficient meal? Part of the reason why they’re so inefficient is because they have each person handle an order as opposed to working like an assembly line. You’ve got multiple people running all over the place to get the meat, condiments, etc, I’m surprised they still haven’t implemented the technique. The other part is, more than half the people ordering sandwiches ask for to go but you’ve got no room to stand to wait for your sandwiches. Can’t stand in front of the Haagen Daaz ice cream counter or they yell at you, even if there are 0 customers interested in indulging in a cone. I think they need some reworking when it comes to logistics. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for a veggie wrap which seems ridiculous considering nothing is being cooked and the ingredients are already prepared. Expect to wait if you choose to patronize.

Lindsey’s has a good half sandwich/half salad combo for $ 8.99. The sandwich and salad portions are good sized. Amongst 3 of us, we had turkey chef salads(dressing with Chipotle was tasty and had a good kick) and a Caesar salad. I don’t recall exactly what we ordered for our half sandwiches but they were all basically variations on turkey, avocado, and assorted veggies. Mine had pesto and was on wheat bread. My wife and son’s were on spinach wraps. All the food was good basic salad and sandwich fare, which is what we were after. The place was very busy around 1:00 on a Tuesday but service was good and we had our food in about 15 minutes. All was good at Lindsey’s!

The owner herself, Lindsay, took the time to address my previous review. She told me she felt awful about what happened and would instruct her employees on how to properly prepare avocado in the future. She also encouraged me to try her food again. I was very impressed by her care for her customers and thus was prompted to pay the deli another visit. I got a tuna melt, which was sizable and pretty yummy! The large portion and fresh ingredients within definitely merit the price. I also got a small cup of caramel cone ice cream from the Haagen Dazs shop inside, which was obviously a no fail. Haagen Dazs is always delicious! I believe the bad avocado situation was a one-time thing and does not represent the overall quality of the food at Lindsay’s. This a solid place with great food, and the owner is obviously very passionate about her deli.

I visited the deli on a lunch break diversion from work, and had the Cream of Zucchini soup, which I have never had before, and it was pretty good. The restaurant was pretty clean, but was a bit noisy. Be sure to hold onto your receipt if you want to use the restroom, because there is useful information contained on it. All in all, not too bad, and there’s ice cream too! 153

We were uncertain on where to have lunch so we consulted Unilocal and found this deli shop. I was uncertain at first, but when I saw that they have Haggen-Dazs ice cream, it was decided we were having lunch here. I ordered the That’s What She Said and my lady had Totally Tuna Melt. For our drinks we wanted to try the Coffee Frappé. Someone took our order while we were in line so we could just hand in our order slip when we are at the register. My lady noticed that they have a Chai drink and wanted to change hers, but they said that our drink is currently being made(basically a, «No you may not change your order» in a nice way). She did not make a fuss about it, but I feel that if the lady wanted to change her order, she should be entitled to change it. Our sandwiches arrived and I immediately took a bite from mine. I said, «Mmmmm.» And in that moment I realized the meaning behind the name of the sandwich That’s What She Said. The bread was warm, tender on the inside and has the right crisp on the outside. The sweetness of green apple, honey, and a little kick of the chipotle honey mustard was delicious which complimented the crispiness and saltiness of bacon. My mouth is watering by just describing the sandwich. It was that good.

Best. Veggie. Sandwich. Ever. Good lord, do yourself a favor, and get the Pearl St Garden Veggie. You don’t have to be a vegetarian to appreciate its goodness. And your Unilocal checkin gets you a free scoop of Haagen Dazs ice cream? What’s not to love about that combo. Glad to see the quality of options on Pearl St have risen in my absence. If this is what I can randomly stumble into, then that ain’t half bad. Nice staff too. Go Lindsay go. You’ve got a fine establishment here.
