Just moved to Boulder last month and walked in to this shop today I’ve passed a few times already. I go in and the first hat I try on was instantly mine, it literally was made for me, so I decided to buy the most amazing dark green fedora at this shop today in about 5 minutes. Has been in Boulder since before 1900. The employees were so nice and welcoming and helping me pick out other accessories that I can use for my new fedora. Even if you go in just to take a look around the shop is absolutely a one of a kind, old school hat shop.

Decent shop with nice hats. Two stars only because I find the sales staff fairly annoying. It is one thing to recognize a customer and say hi but having a sales person breathing down your neck while browsing the store is super annoying. I always hated stores where they won’t let you alone while you shop.
A reason for me to shop online.

Did I mention I loved it ???
I also LOVE the hats that my husband and I both bought here.
The entire experience was fun, interesting and nostalgic for me.
It reminded me so much of the hats shops in Italy… where the hats are well made, custom fit, and there is a history and a passion for the hats and the heritage of them.
The staff were great, let us have fun, gave great tips and recommendations, and helped size the hats to fit our heads perfectly.
Ive never considered myself a «hat person» in my life, but I think Goorin Bros may have changed that for me…

On a whim, I was here last weekend. I haven’t been a hat person, but sometimes you get curious what it would be like if you were. So a companion took me here.
I happen to have a very peculiarly shaped head, with a flat back. I have been trying to disguise that with many other tools, such as different hairstyles and such, as I hate it when my head looks round, and I wished it were more oval, so to speak. So I considered getting a hat.
I explained my constraints to the shop assistant, and it seems that she found me the perfect hat. It looked good! I didn’t want to do some impulse buying, so I spent a few minutes contemplating whether I really wanted to make a 120 USD purchase or not. They were not pushy at all, and totally understood my motives.
In the end, I bought my hat. It was such a great shopping experience that I would be willing to visit this shop again when I get to Boulder a second time.

I love this place. I have always bought Goorin Bros. hats on the internet and have always been meaning to stop at one of their shops. I totally forgot that there was a store on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder until one of their sales reps noticed I was wearing one of their hats and said «Nice Hat». I said thank you and she handed me a business card with a 15% discount on it. We headed over there and WOW, what a great store. The sales people were so nice and outgoing. They even offered us drinks. I was able to try on hats that I had been seeing on the website for so long but was afraid to purchase because I didn’t know how they would look and feel in person. The size that I had been buying off the internet fit perfect with the stock that was in the store. Elizabeth was great when I finished shopping. What a great experience for my first time. Now I’m going to have to try the store in Denver. Thanks again for the great hats Goorin Bros.

Love this shop! I‘m not crazy about shopping at all, but I‘ve never had a bad time at the Goorin store. Everyone is having a good time! If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you might end up hearing live music, and having a cocktail… or two.
There is a Goorin shop in Denver (which is great BTW) but I actually make the drive to the Boulder store. The shop is much bigger, therefore a much bigger selection. Also the manager, Cecilia is the best!
Do yourself a favor, and get to this Goorin shop! You will not be disappointed.
