We have received the best of all possible service from the good people at Concepts Furniture. They have two locations, one in Boulder and one in Longmont. Both are staffed by caring and helpful people. We purchased an excellent quality couch from them. When the couch arrived at our home it was not as comfortable as the one in the showroom. They worked with us until we were completely satisfied. I think most stores would have given up on us but Concepts did not give up. We are very happy with our couch, it is as comfortable and good looking as we were hoping for. The real test of a business is how they handle difficult situations and they passed the test. We recommend them for an excellent selection of attractive and high quality furniture.

If you find something in another store or online be sure to check Concepts for the same item. You will be happy you did! They have the capability to find whatever you need & get it for you! And usually the price is very competitive or much better. SuzyC

Best place to buy furniture in Boulder and surrounding areas. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Love everything I have bought there, especially my office furniture. Highly recommended.

I recently needed some furniture for a condo I bought and decided to go to Concepts Furniture in Boulder.
I am absolutely thrilled I did!
They paid personal attention to me and advised me on the quality of each item I picked.
Let’s face it. It is scary buying furniture because you really do get what you paid for!
The staff were very helpful and measurements were carefully taken.
I am thrilled with absolutely everything I ordered.
One thing I bought I was afraid of but it turned out great. I ordered a mattress from them (as well as a bed). I was afraid because they are not a mattress store. I have always spent good money on mattresses but the one I got here is awesome! Best one I have ever owned. It is called the Five Star Gel 12 mattress.
I also love my new dining room table as well and my new BDI unit.

Wow! I was hoping the bad reviews were not true and that a more recent visit would prove that this is a great store: no! My partner and I just bought a house; a big house… we need a lot of furniture; a lot! After looking online for days we stumbled on Concepts and found many pieces that we were ready to buy; if they looked as good in the store and if the seating was comfortable; we were definitely buying.
We live in Boulder but are moving to Longmont so I went to the Boulder store. I expected a big space with a lot of displays that would look like what I saw online; It’s a small space with odd lots of furniture that I mostly didn’t recognize from the website; I thought I was in the wrong store. I asked to see a set that I had seen on the website and was told «Here is a sample of the wood». I asked to see the actual furniture (I asked how I was supposed to feel comfortable spending thousands of dollars on furniture that I couldn’t look at first) and was told that because they are a small showroom they just don’t have space to display everything that they «carry». The website says instore only on many items but they’re not in the store (???). I walked around hoping to feel better or at least see some of the pieces I saw online but the whole experience was depressing and the salesgirl (s) never showed me any interest or offered any help.
I went to the Longmont store (because I am a determined person and an optimist!)
The showroom is nicer, the sales person slightly more friendly but I was told the same thing: «because we are such a small store we just can’t show everything». I really don’t understand how I am going to buy chairs, sofas, etc without a chance to sit on them! And if they had told me to drive a hundred miles to some place I could see them; fine, but no one had any helpful comments for me nor did they seem concerned with helping me.
I was able to look at one piece of furniture, go home, Google it and find it online (cheaper and with free delivery). It is going to take a lot more work for me to find furniture but I will not go to Concepts and I highly reco you don’t either!

One star is too many for this company. Customer service is horrific. Do NOT shop here.

I’m not sure what is the matter with these people… I went to the store twice to ask about an office chair that was advertised on their website. I was hoping to sit on it before I bought it, as they told me that they wouldnt accept returns from the website. Both times, the clerks took my name and information to pass onto the manager — they didnt have the chairs in stock and would have to order it in for me to try. They told me that the chair was something they have carried in the past, so they would probably be willing to bring it in for me to try. Both times, I told them that I was 80−90% sure that I was going to buy it. Then… nothing. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. Well, if you dont want my $ 320, then I’m happy not to give it to you… but maybe try some basic customer service and at least send me an email. Lame.

Non existent customer service. Policies for return are NOT explained. Had a really bad experience recently. Called to return a sofa I had only a few days to learn that you only have 24 hours to return anything upholstered which consists of most things in the shop. Owners did not offer any type of resolution and sales staff did not explain policy. Read the fine print in this store and shop only if you are dead certain you won’t change your mind.

This is a great furniture store with floors in Boulder and Longmont. This is a good place to go if you want a special, custom piece, and one of the few places in town that sells the American Leather comfort sleepers (aka one of the best sleeper sofas available). They have a good mix of prices — it’s as easy to find a steal of a sofa for under $ 1k as it is to drop $ 5k on one. The staff is helpful and they have a wide variety of items that can all be customized in a variety of fabrics and leathers.
We ordered a custom couch and chair so I will have to report back on when they arrive. I just wanted to say that it is possible to purchase very nice pieces on a budget — don’t think that you need to spend your yearly salary just to shop here.

The outside of the store is so tempting and intriguing… It looks like the perfect Boulder furniture store… With semi-​modern/​recycled furniture, that makes the rich look like they are pretending to be middle-​class and the middle-​class look rich… It would have been a nice win-​win if their furniture on the outside resembled the furniture on the inside… Isn’t that the same about people too? Funny how that works huh?
I actually liked a lot of the furniture that they were selling, and one of the sales women there was a real knock-​out if I do say so myself, but I didn’t even bother to lay on one of the beds and roll around to see if I liked it… It is kind of like when a girl goes clothes shopping… All she needs to do is look at one price tag and one tag only… Then she is able to diagnose the price-​line of the entire store and know if she should waste her time looking or do a quick circle around the store, touch a few sweaters and pants and then slowly ooze out of the store.
I saw one price and realized that even though the store is in the middle of a parking lot off of 30^th in Boulder, their prices still said Boulder and I couldn’t afford that… Yet. This is the place I might go back to in the future… Nice sectionals and sexy loungers.
* Star one is for being locally owned and operated… unlike most of those other chain stores around Colorado where they have an ad with a cheetah
** Sleek star two is for good looking furniture that made me uncomfortable because I wanted to buy you and I couldn’t
*** Kind of false advertising star three was for the cool chairs and items outside the store that tempted me to enter the store in the first place
Star four was lost due to being sneaky and star five was lost because… I mean come on guys… location, location, location!
