Great place to go for open gym. Tricking, rock climbing, parkour, bboying, whatever you do. CATS is always welcoming and accommodating.

PROS: Nice people. CONS: My whole«experience.» I was super excited to try their Adult Gymnastics class on Thursday nights. I called ahead of time the week before because it’s not on their website and they confirmed. I called again this week and drove all the way from Denver to get there and find out… the teacher left!!! The front desk woman was very nice and apologetic but I was pissed. I then spoke to the manager, Wendy, and expressed how disappointed I was and that clearly, they have communication issues. She tried to make it up to me by asking I stay for Open Gym but I did not come to get hurt because I don’t know what I’m doing, I came for class to learn. She then awkwardly asked a couple aerial girls who were there for Open Gym to buddy up with me and… show me some of the stuff? Because I drove my ass all the way there I decided to TRY and make the best of it so I agreed. The girls, although nice, were NOT teachers and didn’t teach(but not their fault). I decided to leave and while I was leaving the staff tried to get me to stay to buddy up with another Gym regular but I had had enough. At that point, I was still mad and now also embarrassed at being passed around like an unwanted toy. Again, they are nice people. Maybe dumb but nice. That counts for my one star.

Not Recommended. Found management to be unorganized and uninformative. The facility is too small for the age and ability range they are attempting to service. I’m sure there are quality instructors to be found but I was not impressed as a whole. For a cost that is multiples of the local rec center I leave wanting for more.

We just did a child’s birthday party here and the kids had a blast. they had lots of safe fun but also learned something about gymnastics. I highly recommend it. We were able to bring in the food we wanted, no buying over priced pizza and cake. Kids got lots of time to do both planned and free play. We will likely do it again next year.

I came to this place last week with a bunch of snowboarding friends to practice our backflips, etc. for the upcoming season. They broke us up into 3 different groups and had us practicing in different areas: backflips, frontflips and backflips in a harness. The staff as a whole is very attentive although most of our group had a hard time understanding gymnastic«speak» but that is of no fault to the staff. We did have a great time and I believe the lot of us will be returning this week for some more training!

If you’re a die-hard rock climber and looking for the best place to train, then drag yourself over to CATS. Predominantly a gymnastic school, they also have a climbing area set up in one end of the gym. And this is not just any climbing wall. CATS is like the home-wall on steroids. Picture steep terrain, tiny holds, and endless amounts of problems set by über-climbers that you’ll probably never be able to do. It’s a cheap fix and if you get bored you can always turn around and watch the 3-year olds practice their somersaults. The climber-scene there is more of a subculture, as the recreational climbers head to the more commercial gyms. But if you only care about getting strong, this is the place to give your fingers a proper beating.
