As you may have noted from my previous reviews I am a huge proponent of not only Natural Medicine but also acupuncture (both Chinese and Japanese). This time around I found myself under the care of Medical Acupuncture of which I had not previously had experience with (definition may be found here:

Having seen a Chinese Acupuncturist for the past couple of years here in Boulder I must note that I was apprehensive to give a new practitioner a try (not to mention I didn’t want to hurt the feelings of my routine acupuncturist). Upon the encouragement from both the Doctor and Physical Therapists/​Massage Therapists at Arbor Occupational Health I decided to give Medical Acupuncture and Dr. Cahn a try.
First and foremost I must mention that I had a bit of trouble finding the office (thank you GPS, personal note: I really think I ought to name that Australian man that lives within my GPS and attempts to guide me places). Much to my surprise and embarrassment this business is housed in the same building I’ve been to time and time before (my dentist office was previously housed there).
Upon entering the office (though somewhat late — much to my horror) I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. I had a bit of paperwork to complete (they weren’t joking around when they requested I arrive 10 – 15 minutes early as there were several pages to fill out) before Dr. Cahn could see me.
When he guided me into a treatment room I was pleasantly surprised by not only his professionalism but also his sincere care in what has been ailing me. He was also happy to talk to me a bit more about Medical Acupuncture (I hadn’t taken the time to look it up before my appointment) as well as engage in some friendly chatter while he inserted the needles.
I have been extremely pleased by my care and treatments from Dr. Cahn. With each visit I feel less pain and more optimistic about my recovery. I also appreciate that Dr. Cahn has taken the time to get to know me as a person not just a patient.
Though I will be extremely happy to recover from my current injury I will most definitely miss my weekly visits with Dr. Cahn.

I was traveling in the area and tweaked an old injury in my lower back which left me in a lot of pain. Dr Cahn saw me at very short notice and I could not be happier with my visit. He did a great job of adjusting me, as well as recommending the best ways to perform aftercare myself.
I walked out in no pain at all and was able to go about my day as if nothing had happened.

I went to Dr. Cahn with some back issues related to driving, martial arts, and working. He assessed my back and said it was due to a slipped rib in my upper back. After a few sessions, I immediately felt better. In general, I felt a lot better overall. Dr. Cahn is also a good person and very personable. I was impressed because I know he was busy but still made time for small talk and to get to know his patients. My overall experience can be related to seeing a doctor in a small town.
I’ve also researched various chiropractors in the Boulder area and felt they were all trying to make you a lifelong patient. Dr. Cahn made it clear on my first visit that his goal was to help me obtain freedom from pain w/​o needing to come every week. I highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Cahn with quite a bit of pain in my upper back. He listened to me carefully and asked many questions about my lifestyle etc. After several visits I can say I no longer have this issue at all. He has excellent office staff as well. To boot, he accepts my insurance!

I went to Dr. Marc Cahn after my car was rear ended and totaled back in 2003. His care was excellent and he was always friendly. I recently returned to Boulder and went in for alignment — he’s got the magic touch! It feels so good to be free from my back pain!
