Super romantic place with great food. Very good experience. We love this place and they make great martinis.

I got the Chicken Parm and it was very good. The meat quality was definitely upgraded over usual restaurants. I ordered their upgraded Risotto and was a bit surprised that the side dish cost $ 9.00 when I got the bill, but it was really good.

I’m going to preface this by saying I must have come on an off night. Food here was bland. I ordered the veal marsala, mainly because I’m not allowed to make veal at home. This tasted more like veal teriyaki, the sauce was sickly sweet and the breading on the meat was mushy and flour tasting. My girlfriend ordered the greek chicken which was also unpalatable. It was smothered in what must’ve been straight lemon juice mixed with water. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. The only thing that kept this from a 1-star review was the tiramisu, which was phenomenal. I don’t know if the head chef called in sick or what but whoever made our meal that night does not belong in a kitchen.

Just had lunch here with my mom and 3 kids. I’m very conscientious about dining out with kids. The cousins(4&3 years old) sat and played a card game. My 10 month old was hungry and yelled out maybe twice as we waited for our food to come. Never cried or any tantrums. The owner came out of the kitchen and proceeded to tell me that they don’t allow screaming in the restaurant and he could get complaints so we needed to be quiet. I honestly thought he was joking and laughed but he just turned away and went back to the kitchen. I asked the waiter if he was being serious because my kids weren’t being loud at all. The waiter said he was being serious but maybe didn’t say it in the nicest way. I wanted to get up and leave before our food came but that’s too hard to explain to a 4 and 3 year old when they wanted pepperoni pizza. I ended up eating my lunch with my 10 month old in my lap for fear that she might make any noise while she ate the pasta. The food was very good. It’s too bad the owner isn’t only kid friendly but not even customer friendly. Our waiter was apologetic and nice but we will never give this place our business again.

We were denied service for reaching restaurant at 9 pm on saturday when Unilocal, google and other websites mention the closing time as 10 pm. The waiter mentioned that the kitchen was already closed. This needs to be updated on the Unilocal and other websites that kitchen closes at 8:45 pm or whatever.

I took my girlfriend out to this nice hidden jem and we both loved it! If you’re looking for good, authentic Italian food with an intimate candlelight atmosphere, look no further. Not to mention a live pianist who performs many classic pieces as you enjoy the night. We’ll be back!

Excellent dinner here, despite being super busy and out not having reservations they squeezed us in – luckily we were ahead of 2 big parties and got our appetizers, main dishes and dessert quickly, enjoyed the music and didn’t even know it was busy(we were seated in the bar). Rachel, our server was excellent, attentive, knowledgeable and a great bartender too… our dishes were all superb, drinks and wine and desserts were great. All the servers and bussers were very attentive and it was an enjoyable evening.

Went back to get dinner. Again, it was amazing. We also had the tomato basil soup. The best we have ever had. Everyone is so friendly and there to make sure your dinning experience is great.

My husband and I went to Vivendo the past weekend for the first time, and we were really happy that we chose this place. I had chicken Marsala and it was delicious. It was just what I wanted. We are so happy to find a Italian place with great quality so close to our house. We will definitely go back!

Most amazing meal ever, or at least it felt like it. The seafood risotto was to die for. The simple fettuccine Alfredo was perfect. So rich and delicious, to die for explosions of flavor in your mouth. A must repeat.

Delicious. The food here is wonderful. We were brought out fresh bread made in-house, with balsamic and olive oil. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna despite my protests(«you can get that anywhere!») and it was sooooo good! I had the Tortellini Gorgonzola(from the menu: cheese filled pasta tossed with homemade creamy marinara sauce or Gorgonzola butter cream sauce, topped with fresh Parmesan cheese). YUM. Try it. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and knew a lot about the menu items, but the waitress working the other tables was noticeably agitated. In my opinion, she wasn’t dressed appropriately either, in a very low cut top. My boyfriend and I raised our eyebrows at each other when she delivered our dessert without a word. A pianist was just setting up to play when we were eating, and it was a little distracting to hear him talking with the waitress and dragging furniture across the floor so he could have more space. We were at one of two occupied tables at that time so I think we chose to eat right before the typical dinner hour. We were seated in the front corner directly in front of the kitchen doorway and we could hear the manager chastising the chefs. It was awkward and I assume he had no idea we could hear. Bottom line: The food is spectacular. The service(depending who you get) could be great or crummy. The atmosphere… it’s an adorable, intimate restaurant, but the background noise definitely detracted from our experience.

Went here for a friends birthday dinner and it’s such a cute little family owned restaurant. They have cute outside seatings, perfect for the summer. I had the seafood risotto which was really good! It had big chunks of lobsters, prawns, and fish throughout the dish! I would definitely come back again and perhaps in the summer when I can sit outside!

Came here last Friday 28Aug with some friends after reading Unilocal reviews. The place is nice, nothing too fancy but pleasant location and décor to have some Italian food, great Brunello and catch up with friends. The food was VERY good, smoked salmon app one of the best and and freshest I have had in a while, bruschetta was lovely as were the pastas. The service was prompt especially the folks who were refilling our water, however, the waitress could have been bit more friendly. I am sorry but service should go hand in hand with food and after long work week when spending few hundred dollars on dinner, should not deal with sour attitude, hence why I am taking one star away. Would definitely come back for the food though a great fine in Bothel.

Holy shit. Get the seafood risotto. If you don’t — you’re a fool. It’s the best thing I have probably ever eaten in my life. It was creamy, and comforting. It was as pleasant as the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I will never order anything different on their menu. — I’m pretty sure I’m gonna miss out on a LOT of good stuff… but, the risotto? Like I said, «Holy Shit. You gotta git» :) This place is LOUD, they have live music and sometimes the waiters dance. It’s so loud in here, it’s a perfect place to bring a crying baby. Serious. :)

My experience does not correspond to the high average rating by other Unilocalers. We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday night so maybe they were not on their A game. First, they seemed surprised when we walked in(2 adults, 2 little kids). Maybe they had turned off the ovens for the night or something. People that worked there kept giving us strange looks while we were there. Waitress was nice enough. Impressive menu. My wife had one of the risotto was okay but nothing to write home about. The hummus was dark brown and dry. My chicken parm was a little chewy but the sauce(marinara?) was a little off-putting. I didn’t like it but maybe others would. Tasted a little burnt maybe. Or maybe just old. When we asked how the pasta was made we were told that they don’t make the pasta. It is all purchased. Now I’m wondering if everything was purchased from US Foods and warmed up. The reason for the two stars is due to the mediocre meal and the uncomfortable atmosphere. I feel there are better alternatives in that area.

So this was a last minute idea for my wife, son and I to go out to dinner on a Sunday night at 630 pm. The restaurant was located in the country village in Bothell. The parking situation was terrible and I could see it being an issue on a busy night, but for us on this night it was not a problem. The interior of the restaurant was eye catching and appealing. However, it had a musty smell in the air. We were 1 of only 2 tables seated in the dining area. The other table happened to be the owner dining with a young woman whose intentions seemed questionable. There were 2 other couples seated in the bar and they were simply drinking. Our host was nice, he seemed quite authentic as if he came fresh off the boat. This made us think we were getting ready to eat some authentic Italian cuisine. So the experience lacked due to the service, appetizers and special. Parts of the meal were good. It was fresh, hot, flavorful! The special was a crab stuffed cannelloni, the flavor was on point but for $ 24 it could’ve had more crab. The Chicken Lemon Rice soup lacked the lemon impact, had little rice and chicken and was a broth based soup. I was hoping for more rice, chicken and flavor. The Ravioli was simple, it was cheese filled and it came with a tasty semi-vodka sauce. The bread could’ve been fresher. The oil and vinegar dipping sauce was flavorful. The Hummus plate was tasty, but I could tell it wasn’t fresh and it came straight from the refrigerator. They had a good wine and beer selection but we didn’t stay long as our mood was soured by the lack of service and attention. Our waiter was nice and attentive at first, but for us being the only table for him to service he could’ve done better. After all, it wasn’t busy at all. The owner’s table with his mid 20’s dining guest got more attention then us. We weren’t even offered dessert or asked for more wine or water. If we didn’t ask for something it never came! Again, it wasn’t busy at all and we were 1 of only 2 tables seated in the ENTIRE establishment. Needless to say I won’t return. My bill was $ 76 and I even tipped $ 12, for a lackluster experience. I think this could’ve been avoided if the owner wasn’t attempting to have his own needs serviced, so the waiter could be more attentive to possible returning customers. However, as I said before, we won’t return!

Can I start by saying I initially wanted to come here because their sign read«Voted most romantic on Unilocal!» Being a Unilocaler I just couldn’t resist! Wish I could give advice on their food. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it past making reservations. I called to make to see if they recommend making reservations for tonight at 730. The first gentleman response was«hold on» as he told someone else in the background to handle my question. The second gentleman was just as charming. I repeated my question«do you recommend I make reservations…» He interrupts«what time» and I said 730 for Brittany. His response«what name» I go «Brittany thank you» «yah huh sure» Safe to say I will not be making my 730 reservations.

I visited this little Italian/Greek restaurant in Country Village a few years ago on their opening night with hopeful expectations. The atmosphere was nice and cozy but service was clumsy and food took 2 full hours to receive. It wasn’t worth the wait or money. I never planned to return. However! With some convincing, I went back with a group of people last weekend. The visual appeal and service was much more polished. There was wonderful live Italian classical guitar and singing as well. Appetizers came very fast, soon followed by soup and salad. They even managed to cook up all 7 of our entrees in less than an hour during the Saturday dinner rush. I could tell they really improved everything about their restaurant in order to stay in business(and thrive!). The melanzanosalata was very tasty. Its a Greek salad with cold roasted eggplant on pita bread. Next I had the soup of the day which was lemon chicken soup with rice, which was well made but not amazingly seasoned. My entrée was the Greek style chicken. It was fantastic! Fresh chicken breast in a flavorful lemon sauce covered in spinach. Served with spaghetti noodles and steamed vegetables. Highly recommended. Many people at the table said they would order it next time. For dessert we had panna cotta and tiramisu. Both hit the spot after a lovely meal, just the right flavors. They also had our favorite Italian wine which I must recommend, the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Very reasonable at $ 28/bottle! Highly recommended for a Valentine’s dinner date.

Came here for date night with my man. His choice. I’ve visited the country village before for shopping but have never gone here, I’m glad we did! We expected it would be slow for a Tuesday night and it was, just a few tables taken up by families. One star is knocked off because of the blaring lights fixed on the ceiling. We were seated in a quite cove for two with a warm, ambient light hovering above our heads; this was nice. But those other lights were somewhat blinding, the least they could do is install a dimmer and make it more romantic. We both ordered the Risotto. His was the Parmesean and mine the Mushroom with Truffle Oil. I have to say, they really nailed both! Mine especially though! They put the perfect amount of truffle oil, enough to tease the palette with its nutty, rich goodness. The portions were perfectly LARGE but I could’ve eaten another half plate because I’m obsessed we it truffle oil. The service was perfect. A fitting Greek man waited on us and delivered our Caprese appetizer, wine and entrées in perfect timing. We will definitely return to try out more of the menu. Maybe during lunch as I don’t wish to be blinded by the ceiling lights again.
