New China Restaurant

The older lady at the counter has absolutely zero customer service. She just looks like she hates her job and people in general, no smile not even a little bit friendly. I asked for chicken&beef teriyaki to go and 2 fortune cookies and she asked me why I wanted 2 so I said because I am sharing this meal, she looked at me like I’m an idiot and said «no you only get one»…lol like common it’s just a cookie… it was a bit embarrassing I kinda smiled/​laughed quietly and just walked out. The order was half empty with bits of chicken and beef which looked like left overs just thrown and kinda mixed. They should really consider changing things up in there. total disaster.

I am being generous giving this place one star. Tasteless, overpriced, Chinese Food from Safeway is so much better! We won’t be returning.

We’ve been going here for a very long time but honestly I don’t know why. The lady at the counter is so rude and the food is mediocre. But tonight was our last visit there. When my husband gave her the debit card to pay she asked him if it’s going to work or not. He told her not to insult him. She said that they prefer cash and he said that’s all he had. She was so rude and needless to say my husband was not happy and we will table to BMG on Bothell Everett Hwy instead!

I walked in to a totally silent and dead feeling restaurant it made me very uncomfortable. The lady did not smile at all and made zero eye contact. But no biggie right? The food should be good.
I was wrong. I got my sesame chicken and got in my car and the whole way home it smelled so foul I had to keep from throwing up. I got home and opened it and the smell was 10 times worse. Immediately threw my food away. Looks like the other reviews were right. DO NOT EAT HERE.

We’ve been going here for ten yrs. never had a bad meal. The owner is always friendly and has a smile. I’m glad they quit delivery. It didn’t go well for them. Will continue to visit on a regular basis. Really like the Singapore rice noodle

Annoying to listen the the owners/​workers listening to their iPad while I’m trying to eat.

The couple that owns this place were really nice, and I was very surprised at how good the food was. Ordered the House Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken. Only issue with this place was the ambiance of the restaurant. No music playing, dead silent, and the lady rang our total up on an old calculator.

HORRIBLE. The lady working the front had no customer service at all. When i asked for a cupnof water, she looked at me like i was stupid… there was ONE cup, but two of us… was she thinking we were gonna share a cup? On a hot day like today, there was no ice in the ice machine and the water was room temperature… the egg flower was more bland than cardboard and the rice was super mushy. Needless to say, I DEFINITELY won’t be coming back.

Do not get he Kung Po Chicken is very gross and doesn’t taste anything like it should. My 2 friends ordered 2 other things and all of us left completely grossed out and couldn’t finish our meals. Don’t recommend this place.

I’ve been going here for years, great food friendly owners. I recommend the Almond Chicken

This place is pretty damn good, my family and I eat here about once a month and we have never had bad food. I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews but I think it reflects a bit on the typical Unilocal User. I will admit there have been a few times where I thought the language barrier might lead to an order mess up but it never does! Albeit the woman who I believe is the owner isn’t beaming with sunshine but I don’t exactly expect a Bitchin conversation when I’m picking up my Chinese takeout. This is not the place for you if you expect someone to kiss up, or make you feel like you are the center of the universe — but if (like me) you are looking for some great Chinese takeout, ignore the naysayers and give it a shot!

Food was sub par. Ordered two dinner combo meals and pot stickers. Didn’t receive chow mein or soup. Went back instead of accommodating the customer they argued with me. No wonder at six pm. They are empty will never go back.

Went here tonite because our other regular Chinese place was closed.
Son, Husb., and me. Ordered food. Longgggggg wait for same, especially considering people who came in after us and ordered their food «to go» got their food before we did.
Hot & Sour soup was meh with some sort of weir dish green stringy thing in it.
Food itself, Almond Chicken with Fried Rice for me, General Tso’s for Husb., and Beef Broccoli for Son — were all pretty much devoid of flavor.
Perhaps the most distressing thing is that the portion sizes are teeny tiny. You are paying a regular price for the food here but you will be hungry when you leave.
Had to ask for tea, no smiles, no greetings, no thank you’s — nothing.

I’m a bit surprised by the lack of good reviews for New China. We have both take out and eat-​in on multiple occasions and really enjoy it. Their broccoli beef has a ton of broccoli (and beef) and isn’t greasy at all. I love the Singapore noodles, as well as the General Tso’s. Quite honestly, it’s my favorite place so far in Mill Creek other than that new place in Town Center. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky here, but I doubt it with ten or so visits that have been consistently good. Quick delivery too!

Don’t even waste your money! It’s cheap flavorless food that is too expensive for what you’re getting! I actually bought my food. Tried it and ended up making something else. Skip this place and save your wallet.

So gross! We did take out… One they need to warn ppl that the put shrimp automatically in their rice (I can’t eat shrimp) Orange Chicken tasted horrible and the chow mien tasted so bad as well. My family and I couldn’t eat it so we headed out to Applebee’s. We won’t be back…

I keep coming back here because it is literally 2 minutes away from my house. But I am really tired of all the problems they have. They always seem to mess up my order and it really is not the best Chinese food I have had. It’s just ok. Tonight I went in and ordered and they said my card was declined. I had money in my account so I walked over to albertsons bought a pack of gum and got cash back. My card worked fine. So something is wrong with their machine, kind of weird for it to randomly say its declined. When I came back she just made it seem like I was lying and really didn’t have money in my account. She didn’t seem to concerned about her credit card machine. My mom owns a restaurant and the same thing happens once in a while but I try to make the customer feel better by maybe running it again or figuring out what I can. I’m just disappointed. My dinner better be good.

Tried again. Another hour waiting, along with 7 other people. The new location is also freezing and they forgot one part of my order (though they charged me for it). I don’t know why I even try.

My husband, Ryan C, ate here earlier today (see above review). He was totally disgusted by the food and said his teriyaki smelled rotten. Judging by the smell of his gas hours after eating there, it was spoiled. Totally rank. Take my word for it, don’t eat here, or let anyone close to you come here either.

My chicken teriyaki smelled spoiled when it got to the table and tasted worse. I guess I should have known by the nearly untouched plates at the table next to mine. «Wow those people must have not been very hungry. I’ll take the chicken teriyaki!» Stupid me. Never again. I should probably call poison control.
