I really liked the customer service. The food was good and there is a nice patio. We’ll be back here and I hope they get more customers.

Beware… RAW chicken fingers is being served on kids menu! Im not kidding… the most unbelievable part was that the owner was the one who made the«uncook» chicken fingers… I ordered cream of broccoli not fresh its not warm. The restaurant is so empty, quiet. our server was not friendly at all… i would give zero star if i can…

Great for lunch, awesome sandwiches and salads and really, really, really good beer! Patio seating is great for kids as they can get down off the deck, chase chickens and play with the merry go round while you keep an eye on them. And drink your beer.

I love this place. Everything is homemade and you can definitely tell. They’ve gone to a lot of trouble to stand out and they do. I can’t decide on a favorite dish because they are all so good. Their salad dressings are home made, soups, meats roasted in shop, they have really good vegetarian items and even gluten free breads. They serve great bacon, it’s thick and delicious. Check this place out.

I normally do not post a review on any sites, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in for this establishment. First let me start of by saying as I went to write this I saw several negative reviews and was surprised but, as I read them further they all were surrounding service(and usually on a difficult day anywhere… Mothers Day). Please ignore these as anomalies and sometimes misguided expectations. This place is fantastic. I have been in numerous times and not only is the food mouth wateringly excellent, the service is good and caring. Virtually everything is home made and fresh and the portions are perfect. All the ingredients seem like they just came off the farm. I won’t go into each meal(but I easily could use great adjectives about each), but I will say everything I have had here is 5 Star and I am willing to bet the same for the items I have not had… yet. The owners appear to have family and good friend working here and you can feel the caring and sincerity of their efforts in bringing a great eating(along with good libations) experience to all that enter the door. My reservations about the posting was like that little secret place you know that you want to keep for yourself so that you always get in, but they deserve all the business they can manage… and I want them to never leave.

We’ve been to Jantee on two different occasions. The first time we came in after wandering Country Village and were so satisfied that we vowed to come back for brunch! On our first visit we had the french toast croissant, the portobello wrap and mimosas. The mimosas were delicious(and a great size). The Jantee sauce served with the portobello wrap was great. Our service was fantastic, I think we lucked out because we were served by the owner. She told us all about the food when we asked about the Jantee sauce and how it was(home)made. The second trip we went in for brunch, we ordered corned beef hash which was definitely home made… no can there! We also ordered a benedict– good portion, yummy hollandaise and the eggs on both were cooked as requested. They also give you a choice of biscuit, coffee cake, or toast which was a win — if only we had saved that to go, we were so stuffed afterwards. The service the second time wasn’t fantastic like the first, but it was still adequate. We’ll be going again.

We were seated immediately for Sunday breakfast, unfortunately that was the fastest thing that happened during our visit. Our server is inexperienced, and when the table behind us asked for a box before their meal was served we knew we were in trouble. Server would ask if we wanted refills instead of proactively bringing water and coffee. When our food finally arrived it should have been piping hot, it was barely warm. The server didn’t ask about our food until he brought the bill and didn’t clear plates after leaving the bill. The biscuits were dense but had a buttery flavor. The link sausage was dry and flavorless. The gravy, meh. Ditto for hash browns. Nothing was worth the wait. We won’t be back.

First time here and had high hopes with the sign out front that says«best breakfast in Bothell». Well, can’t say I’ve had a better in Bothell, but have had better. It took almost 15 mins to get anyone to acknowledge us. It would have been much longer, but we got up and asked for someone to help us. They did make up for it after, as our drinks were never empty from then out and had great service. I understand sh@#*t happens, so I won’t hold it against them too much. The Wife and I got our normal, biscuits and Garvey for me and corn beef hash for her. She really liked hers and I thought mine was average. The toast was thick and the jam was awesome. We sat on the back porch which was nice. I would come back and the wife might come back for some wine on Ladies night.

What a great find! Good food. Excellent service. No line on a Saturday morning!(One hesitates to post, «Hidden Gem!» because then it no longer is. But this place deserves a try!)

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times now and I’m not sure what’s going on with the food at this establishment. It is incredibly inconsistent. I’ve had a couple lunches here that make me want to keep coming back, and a couple breakfasts that nearly ended my eating here. Best meal I’ve had here was at lunch, a steak salad and clam chowder. The salad had nice crisp greens, pickled onions, with some beautiful cherry tomatoes and steak cooked to perfection. The clam chowder was also quite tasty. The worst meal I’ve had here was a breakfast, corned beef hash and eggs. The hash was a very small portion for the price, mostly potatoes and completely flavorless. The blueberry muffin that came with it was an overcooked mess with a rubbery consistency. So if you give this place a try, do it at lunch. That seems the better of the two meals here.

I love this place! I work close by and order take out 2 – 3 times a week. Always yummy with a little ‘extra’ in each meal. Meatloaf sandwich with spicy catsup is one of my favorites! Food tastes fresh and prices are fair. You’ve got my business and vote!

I really want to like this place but they did such a horrible job for Mother’s Day brunch. Most of the time we were there, the majority of the small amount of food wasn’t even out. The food we did have was cold or overcooked. People were waiting FOREVER to get an omelet. Obviously whoever manages this place had never done a buffet before as they were constantly out of everything and things were not quickly replenished. Also everyone working there seemed very stressed and tense which is never enjoyable for your customers.

Let me start by saying I have only been here once, because of a recommendation of someone who has been a few times and raves about the food, service and atmosphere. Secondly, we came on Mother’s Day and the regular menu was not available and a buffet was the only option. We had reservations, arrived on time to have a seat on folding chairs. We waited 10 min before coffee was even offered. Coffee cups sat bone dry for most of the 90min we were there and when we did finally ask for refills we were looked at like that was a hassle. The buffet was our only option and despite repeatedly going back to look for food we found it to be small, limited and incredibly picked over. Eventually I ate the only piece of eggs Benedict–(which was cold) I saw and fried potatoes because that was all that was available(other members of my party did get an omelet, and slice of ham when the chef was at that station. The chef was incredibly apologetic and mentioned that a huge rush wiped out most of the food and they just weren’t prepared or expecting that. As a new place I can totally understand that and would even consider giving them a second chance. However, the server was so awful I don’t think even the best food could make up for it. She was rude to us, before we even got seated it was obvious we were interupting her day. When we asked for anything like coffee, or a waffle(which was only food available for much of the time due to buffet fiasco) she was gruff and annoyed. During the course of breakfast she managed to spill water, coffee and incredibly hot syrup. To top it off her response was«what? You look mortified?» I am fairly understanding and may have even let the horrendous service slide one time because they were clearly having a rough day but the final straw fir me was that despite the obvious lack of food, the wait for food to come out and be gone before we could even fill a plate, and poor service we were charged full price?!? Yes– for that horrible experience Adults paid $ 20 and kids $ 10 plus extra for coffee. I don’t expect free meals or steep discounts but even comping the coffee after such a horrible experience would have given me something positive to say. I love to support small local business and would encourage anyone in the area to try this place, but NOT on a busy day, and if you get a cranky server just leave ASAP because it won’t get any better!!!

I work near by and Jantee has quickly become one of my all time favorite lunch spots. The steak salad is my go to order as it’s fresh, always cooked perfectly and just the right portion size. The mushroom portobello wrap is another favorite of mine. House made secret sauce on a warm pita bread along side house made chips — YUMM! I haven’t been in for breakfast yet, but I cannot wait to try it out. If you haven’t been here, you must come by!

I have visited this little bistro twice now. Once for happy hour and then for breakfast. It’s a nice little place, as I drank my pint I joked with my friend about eating ducks. The waitress made a comment-«judging on your size you could eat ten». I laughed it off, but found it completely rude. We decided to go back for breakfast. We were seated quickly and got great attention. Once our food arrived we didn’t have silverware, not a huge deal. We asked for ketchup and never got it, the table next to us asked as well. They didn’t get any either. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, nothing to write home about. My friend got eggs Florentine and the hollandaise tasted like a lemon tart. I wish that the service and the food would have matched my expectations, this would have been a great little spot for happy hour. I would recommend trying it once, but be prepared to be underwhelmed.

Had Sunday breakfast, corned beef hash was not hot, dry and overcooked, like it was sitting on the grill all morning. My eggs were perfect. My wife’s omelet was mediocre at best and her hashbrowns came from Costco . Service was very slow, we would ask our hostess for what we needed because our waitress disappeared until it was pay me time.
