Shame on Caremark! I’ve been trying to get them to fix an error they made for more than a month, but we’re still going in circles. Their customer service reps are incredibly kind but, sadly, they have absolutely no authority to help. It feels encouraging at first, because they understand the problem, and they happily transfer you to someone more senior, but when you finally get to the top they tell you that you need to call your insurance company. Well, I did call my insurance company and guess what they did?! Transfer me to Caremark! They actually transferred me! Are they even different companies? If you can successfully get your prescription through this company, then cheers to you! But if anything goes wrong, don’t expect to be able to fix it! And if you’re out of medicine before they are willing to refill your prescription, then it’s back to the doctor for you! How’s that for saving you money? I called my local pharmacy and they told me that with them my problem would be an easy fix… no so for mail order. I don’t know if this is a problem with all mail order or just Caremark(my local pharmacist predicted that my problem was with them before I mentioned any names) but it’s a significant problem which brings to mind underdeveloped countries without resources; not something you expect to see in a well funded country like ours! If this is the future of pharmacy, we are in trouble! Write reviews, send feedback, lets use our numbers to make positive change!
