Love this place! Yummy food, great atmosphere and I especially enjoyed our server/​bartender Gary! He was super efficient and polite. Better service than most bars. It makes a huge difference.

Have been looking for a decent bar near south station bus terminal to chill at while waiting for a bus to NYC — and corner pub is the spot!
Came here to play some board games with my boyfriend which was the perfect way to pass the time while watching the football too!
Got the nachos with chili and they were delicious! Enough cheesey goodness with pico de gallo style salsa — the only thing I would suggest is to slice the jalapeño a little thinner so you can eat it :)
This is a kind of bar where you walk in and seat yourself so definitely give yourself plenty of time to go here

Used to live in Boston. Passed through here while waiting for a train at south station. About 8pm on a Friday. The bar was busy, not the tables. Never been here before.
Loved the staff– very welcoming and helpful. Funny too!
Sadly, some of the worst food I’ve had in Boston.
I understand the concept of this place, (it’s meant to be a classic neighborhood dive bar) but seeing the bartender rinse off dirty glasses in the sink and use them on other customers… Pretty gross. I’ve worked many years in the food industry. This is an example of poor management!
I had a burger. It was grisly. The lettuce was thawing and the tomato mush. Normally when something is wrong with my order I speak up but I’m pretty certain there was nothing they could’ve done about those accompaniments.
The meal of course had nothing to do with the service, whom I tipped the normal 20%. It just wasn’t good food… At all.
Come here to chat with the bartender/​regulars, get a beer, but don’t order food! Cheers

Stopped by for lunch on a Friday. Servers were beyond friendly, engaging and entertaining!
Food was superb — had the pub dip!

I love this place. It is our go to place when we want to hang out casually for the evening. It in a small dive local bar. It is a definitely a star wars bar, there are people from all walks of life, but that is what makes this place interesting. I love the people watching. The beers are cheap $ 15 for a bucket of 5 Bud/​Bud Lights. There is keno and regular board games to keep you and you friends entertained. The food is decent, appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, your standard bar food. It is worth exploring the mix and match egg rolls.

My husband and I were so lost here in Boston (we are from CALI). We asked a random pedestrian «where do we go for some good drinks?!?» He directed us to «The corner pub» and we had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The bartender PAM! She is so sweet and friendly. Customers were coming in and she knew what they were drinking she hugged everyone and made us feel at home! I am so happy to come here and thank you Pam for an amazing experience! MUAH!

They have a night menu and that’s all a girl really needs. The tater tots with cheese and bacon will leave you craving more and not regretting the calories the next day. The prices aren’t too bad and the crowd is a solid mix of locals, frat guys, and hipsters near and far. It’s somewhat narrow layout makes the bar look super crowded even if there aren’t many people around. The service was so so but the after hours menu is actually quality (compared to its local competition) so it makes up for all the above.

Didn’t actually get to drink here. My friends and I came on a Sunday night looking for dinner and drinks, but their kitchen was closed. It gets 5 stars in my book though, for an awesome staff. When we told them we were looking for food, they gave us a ton of nearby recommendations, and the regulars sitting at the bar were friendly and helpful.

Great beer and awesome bartender. A couple taps were kicked (it was a stupid hour on a sunday, so it really didn’t interfere with anything) but there was plenty of good stuff on tap and bottles.
Had my family with me (the pub wasn’t my original destination, i should add) which felt awkward at first, but we were made to feel right at home and other people came with kids later and everyone was greeted by name by the bartender, so apparently its family friendly during the daylight hours.

The food is amazing, the burgers are so juicy! I would give it 5 stars but they forgot the bacon on my burger 5 times in a row. I asked them to make sure to put it on after the second time, yet they still didn’t put it on. A little aggravating, but I would still recommend the food!

Corner Pub gets 5 stars based on overall «feel» and menu differentiation. This place is truly has a «neighborhood bar» feel. The Asian twist can be experienced in the specialty egg rolls which mix traditional fare into an egg roll. These are true winners and you should make the visit to experience these creations.

Just when you think that you’ve seen all the fusion bars and restaurants there are, something new pops up. Welcome the Corner Pub, your all authentic Asian Pub. Not surprisingly on the outskirts of Boston’s Chinatown, I stumbled here in a severe craving for wings on a Wednesday after the gym. I was taken aback and confused when the sign with the bar’s name had a dragon painted on it, but that did not deter me from what turned out to be a good time.
Fusion time it was — All American sports memorabilia, divey set-​up, the jukebox and TVs around, a gambling opportunity, Dingy T-​shirts for sale and Games on the Patron tables. What isn’t there to love from the get go. The bartender was surprise, also Asian with a pretty decent hearing problem I believe, or maybe he just acts confused so he can get away with mishearing your drink order or forgetting it a few times. But that’s actually kind of a charm.
I was def hooked because places like these are where you get the best, most unique bar food. And I was not wrong on that account, on the back of the menu they have a whole selection of filled eggrolls at $ 3 a piece of the craziest creations. With this menu I abandoned my wings and went for the eggrolls. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken, the Sweet chili Pork and the White Trash Eggrolls [mac & cheese with hotdogs]. Each of the items was split in two like you receive wraps, awesome amount of food. Solid pub food, tons of flavor and crunch.
My favorite part of this place is that you can play games, gamble and buy a tshirt that says «Tipping is not a city in China» — omg so in love with corny stuff like that.
All in all, random, mindblown…

Love this bar! Great for cheap drinks, relaxed mood and cool bartender. Jukebox music, but as long as you’re with friends, always a good time! Watch out for the mystery Brown bag. Usually cheap whiskey. Beware!

Such an awesome dive! Go get you some of them chicken wings and tator tots. Out of towners will probably feel weird here, this is a locals joint. If you wanna hear some legits Boston accents though, go ahead and check it out. The bar food is excellent when you’re drunk and in this area.

I would have never thought of venturing into this place if it wasn’t my co-​worker who introduced me to this pub for lunch. You walk in and immediately think, wait am I at the right spot? Yes… yes you are.
The lunch here is absolutely a home run each time. It’s inexpensive and delicious and the owner is so nice and funny with her patrons. It’s as if you literally walked into her home and sat down on her couch while she took your orders. Here is what you should eat: Pub Dip, Turkey Club, Just about any burger, Franks and Beans and more. Everything is a hit and get this… their turkey and roast beef is made in-​house, and boy does that make all the difference in the world!
If you work/​live around the area you must try this place out!

Lucky Find
Roaming around Boston the Leather District I discovered the CP. I’ll have to say I guess I got lucky, because thus strange place is a quality dive bar.
Cheap drinks, jukebox, arcade games, dive atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Well how about friendly clientele drinking rounds of 15 shots a pop.
Don’t be afraid of the bars on the windows, this bar satisfies the dive bar urge.

Low key dive type bar atmosphere. Food gets better every time. New Pubble burger is delicious, tots rock.

Full bar for $ 6 cocktails, $ 5 pints (and, more cost-​effectively, pitchers for $ 16) and a decent food menu with output that tastes like it was made in your buddy’s kitchen. Not your chef buddy, rather, your «usually eats out and tries to recreate at home for dates» buddy.
Like Keno? They has it. Digital jukebox with phresh jams in regular rotation? Hazit. My chicken Caesar salad had chicken, salad and Caesar dressing. Truth in advertising, and at a reasonable $ 8.
What’s et is cheap, what’s drank is cold — this is a perfectly respectable bar. Patronize.
