Mediocre Thai food that’s nothing to write home about, but satisfies that craving for Thai when necessary. I came here on a Sunday lunch and it was quite quiet, which I greatly appreciated. The dining area was well lit by natural light and also some ceiling lights; overall a great feel for a semi-formal restaurant. I ordered the green curry with shrimp(lunch), which included rice. The curry had shrimp, eggplant, bamboo shoots, green beans, and green/red bell peppers. The curry sauce itself was a bit on the watery side — the consistency and taste wasn’t as well done as I would have liked. Some of the vegetables(green beans and peppers) were leaning toward being undercooked, which I did not enjoy. However, the shrimp and eggplant was cooked well in my opinion. Also, the rice was a bit too dry and hard, losing some of its fragrance. Points added for how the food was nicely arranged! This was my first time trying Thai in Boston, and I was not greatly impressed. I would come here again because the food is decent and satisfies a craving, but I will also be looking for other Thai restaurants nearby to compare.

I ate a lunch combo and I thought that the portion was filling and the look of the food was adorable. I thought that the service was great and the workers were happy and friendly. The paintings are nice. The food was with fruit and rice. I thought that the meal was healthy. I will be there again.

I ordered via GrubHub and the food was just as good as it is when you dine-in. Everything just tastes super fresh and the flavors are perfect. I find their Thai food authentic, while still appealing to our American tastes.

Loyal customer! I’ve been coming here for two years now since moving around the corner. Food is the best Thai in the neighborhood and the staff is very friendly. The food comes in really nice portions, and comes out really quickly! I absolutely love this place!!!

WORSTTHAIFOODOFMYLIFE. The only ‘Thaitation’ I got, after the first bit, was to stand up and leave. My friend and I were starving and decided to stop by for a late lunch. My friend ordered the Fried Rice and I ordered the Pad Thai. The service was great and resulted in a great first impression. However, it was a steep down hill from there on out. The food was mediocre to say the least. It took less than five minutes from the time we ordered to when we were served. Now with service that fast, I imagine the chef either knew what we were going to order, hours before hand, or plopped yesterdays left overs into the microwave. My Pad Thai was drowning in a watery sauce, bland, and soggy. My friends Fried Rice was eatable, but that’s all it was. They were nice enough to change my soup Thai for the same thing my friend ordered. Today marks the first day I have returned a dish at any restaurant. Please avoid this restaurant and save yourself from a very upsetting meal. I will never eat here again, not even if they paid me to.

Nice restaurant but very average Thai food in my opinion. The flavor just isn’t as good as some other spots(like Rod Dee), and it seems like they use the same sauce for a lot of their noodle dishes. Nonetheless it’s a safe choice if you want a sit down Thai meal in the Fenway area.

For someone who loves thai food, I can’t explain how much happy I was to know that Thaitation was right next door. The food is great and they have good options. The service is good too and the staff is sweet!

I have been here a couple times and gotten delivery another few times. It is superb, undoubtedly the best Thai food I Have ever had. If I ‘d had the Thai Chili Fish the very first time I was there, I likely would not have ever attempted anything else. Instead I Have had something different each time, typically with appetizers and dessert, and everything has been creative, fulfilling, and very, very delicious. Highly recommended.

We were visiting the area and looking for some good Thai food. So glad we stumbled upon this place because everything we ordered was delicious! From the fresh summer rolls to the yellow curry with shrimp and then the three stooges entrée(chicken, shrimp and beef in a spicy brown sauce), we were so impressed! Highly recommended!

Probably one of the best thai places around here. Trust me, I’ve been to all the other ones. My friend got the Pad Thai and I got the Pad Woon Sen. We also tried the spring rolls. The spring rolls were okay, just average although plating was really pretty. The Pad Woon Sen was pretty good although I would have liked if it had more fungus ear. I really miss having that!(my mom used to cook it all the time) I tried some of my friend’s Pad Thai and it was super good, although a bit sweet. Compared to the other Pad Thais around here, it is probably #1. I’m sure their other stuff is good too, and since it is a bit pricey you would probably be getting the best food compared to the other cheaper places. The décor is also nice, I saw a few interesting painting on my walk to the bathroom ha. Although I do have to mention their bathroom is super hot and stuffy, I’m not quite sure why. Service is great A+. Heard their Old Lady Eggplant is their most popular dish so if you’re up to trying something new… There was a couple who had a birthday and they turned down the lights and played a happy birthday song over the speakers. How sweet!

My friend and I came for an early dinner around 5p. We were seated right away since we were the only customers there. The food came out pretty fast(within 10mins). Fried chicken pad thai — The fried chicken was very good(perfectly fried and very juicy). The noodles itself were okay but i’ve had better. We also found a piece of hair(kind of unsanitary don’t you think?) Thai fried rice — It was good but a little bland for my taste. Overall, I had a good experience(good service, cozy place) but I wouldn’t come back when there’s cheaper and tastier thai places around the area.

I ordered delivery. I got the coconut chicken soup and the drunken noodles. Delivery: The delivery was way faster than I was quoted and that was nice. The food was still super hot by the time I got it. No problems here. Food: The chicken soup was way too sweet for my liking. It had a lot of mushrooms which was nice and the pieces of chicken were large but the overall taste wasn’t my cup of… soup. Now for the drunken noodles… I read so many rave reviews on here which was the only reason why I went for them over a basil stir fry or curry. I ordered them«Hot» and wrote in the comments«Thai spicy please» as I really really like Thai chilis and super spicy food. The noodles I got were basically flavorless. There were a few flecks of dried chili flakes but no fresh Thai chilis and basically no flavor other than the lifeless basil floating around. Decent amount of chicken but the large chunks of bell pepper and onion were kind of just thrown in there, also flavorless. All in all, as an avid Thai food lover I was super disappointed. I will try this place again and hope they were just having an off night and will update this review if my opinion changes.

Very happy to find some really good Thai options here in Boston. We started off with the crispy spring rolls and chicken satay. There are other reviews here that rave about the spring rolls — I don’t deny that, but they are the kind of spring rolls that are heavily packed with a lot of meat. If you’re into that, they’re great. My personal preference is a lighter spring roll with cabbage, lettuce, and just a little bit of pork or chicken. The chicken satay was AMAZING and the portion was huge. Could be a small meal unto itself. My chicken pad see ew was really good. Unfortunately I can’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had, but it was really good. The broccoli and carrots were crunchy and fresh, but overall it was bland, there was no spice to it at all. Next time I’ll make it a point to ask for it spicy. For what it’s worth, I thought my leftovers tasted better the next day. My husband got the seafood pad thai. He says it was the perfect amount of spice, the amount and size of the seafood was great. We’re still trying to find our favorite Thai food place since moving to Boston, so we’ll definitely try a few more places before settling on which is the best, but overall — you’ll have a good meal here.
