Starbucks

I give this Starbucks 3 stars because although MOST of the employees there are extremely pleasant (especially in the morning, which is refreshing) and the fact that it’s in my building which makes it super convenient, there is one MISERABLE employee (a male with a pony) who does not even have the decency to say «hello» or «good morning» or even a «thank you» or «have a nice day». I was beginning to think it was just me, but from other reviews I can see that it’s not. He’s a terrible employee with a poor work ethic. I will not be returning to this Starbucks as I would much rather walk across the street for some better customer service.

It’s probably weird to review a Starbucks, but the employees here are amazing. They handle the morning rush super efficiently, while also being incredibly friendly and remembering regulars’ names and orders. Thanks, guys (and girls)!

What more can be said about a Starbucks?
Some employees — super friendly, outgoing, accurate.
Other employees — sloppy (appearance), sloppy (work), sloppy (overall)
Hate the panhandling out front — makes me not want to go.
⁵⁰⁄₅₀ — if I want a Starbucks coffee THAT bad, and I’m 5 feet away, I’ll go.

Its starbucks, what can you really say?
Its not a full shop because its really a kiosk inside a building. They are not exactly fast, but not many Starbucks are. There are a few women who work their that are SUPER nice and one young man who is friendly and funny, but there one older man with a ponytail who just ruins my day! He is SO unpleasant and just generally rude. God forbid you ask him for a pastry with youre coffee after he wrote your coffee down, he will huff and puff that he not has to add it onto your total on his screen. I feel like ive inconvenienced him by asking for a coffee cake… There is also another woman, blonde, who is nice enough but everytime i would get this one specialty latte they were featuring (caramel flan, MMMMM) it seems like she didnt know how to make it and it never tasted right. Its just she was winging it and just gave me a caramel latte only. I had plenty of other people make one for me before but every time she made it, it wasnt right.
But, its convienient, its steps from my office and its coffee, so of course i wont stop going there!

I’m giving this location another star because yesterday they asked a co-​worker why I was unhappy enough to write my original review and that they’d do anything they can to make me happy if I went back.
So, they do care. Their coffee is still not good though, so I’m still not going back. :)

there are employees at this starbucks who are super consistent (in personality and in brewing prowess) and there are employees at this starbucks who may have bipolar coffee shop disorder. overall, the convenient location brings me back. also, the line tends to be shorter than the starbucks across the street.
i don’t know what else to say. starbucks is starbucks, so you already know what to expect.
oh, around the end of the year, they have these super fantastic peppermint brownies.
