Sonia Adams, M.D.

Stay away or better run as fast as you can. Unfortunately, I had one of the most unpleasant experiences with a doctor in a very long time, most importantly with a specialist.
Dr. Adams has disappointing bedside manners; she is reluctant to answer questions, seemed very uninterested in helping and most surprising of all; she ended the visit with no ‘good by’ no offering to provide some insight; the exam lasted about 10min, Dr. Adams offered a prognosis, and when I started to ask some questions as to why and how, she reacted somehow eager to leave the room; took her laptop under her arm, her little model under the other, offered one or two more answers, one of them was «I don’t know» (her expertise is OBGYN) and then took advantage of the distraction through her nurse to leave the room without any further exchange of ‘Good by’ or any instructions of what I should do when I finished my little «homework» exercise.
I am still shocked to say the least; interestingly enough, after I left the e room, I wanted to follow up to ask what I should do once I completed what was asked to do at home and the doctor as well as the nurse already left for the day; it took me about 5 minutes to leave the exam room. I asked the front desk assistant to have her give me a call the next day; I was asked to call back myself.
Again, I was surprised and shocked and couldn’t quite understand.
