Shell Gas Station

The guy that runs this place is an ass. He demanded cash for a car inspection and yelled at us and acted like he really hated his life and job. Maybe it’s time to hang it up dude.

The convenience store has lots of stuff – drinks, snacks, and even household supplies like cleaning supplies and medicines.
It’s open ²⁴⁄₇!
There’s an ATM inside a locked room, the gas station attendant buzzes you in when he sees you walk up, or when you press the button if he doesn’t see you.
Prices are gas station prices, a little higher than other stores around. 4 stars from me for the convenience.

Simple really:
— Good: unremarkable gas station and small convenience store open ²⁴⁄₇.
— Bad: charge a ridiculous premium to use a credit card for gas.

I’ve had multiple issues with this gas station, beside their absurdly high prices. The first issue was when I used a credit card to buy gas. Somehow, it apparently didn’t close out my transaction after it was finished, because the next day I saw an additional $ 90 charged to my card at that gas station. I’m not sure if someone pulled in right behind me in a big SUV or something and used my open transaction to fill their car up too. I haven’t used card since then, but when I last tried to use cash I handed the girl $ 5 (enough to get me home) and began pumping. The gas pumped surprisingly fast, but I verified that the screen said $ 5 pumped (1.-something gallons). When I got back on the road, I noticed that my level hadn’t changed at all (I drive a Honda, which has like 25 – 30 little bars to indicate gas levels, so even $ 5 worth of gas should have added a few bars and turned my gas light off, since I was at one bar). But it was still at one bar. I went back and told the girl something was wrong, that it hadn’t pumped any gas at all. She wasn’t helpful AT ALL so I just left. I’m done with this place.

This has to be the worst gas station. Very sketchy people in there. The gas prices are also horrible!

Ehh… this was my go-​to gas station during my Surgery rotation solely out of convenience and ‘meh’ sums it up pretty well. The prices aren’t particularly good and it’s quite a nightmare if you have to fill up during rush hour.

This place is a nightmare, and run by someone who doesn’t care for his customers. Spend as much as you like on gas and he still won’t go out of his way to help you. Need air or water, you’ll have to pay extra — even to the point he’ll make you buy a tire gauge as his air pump doesn’t have one.
Stay away, he doesn’t deserve your business.

Okay so this gas station is crazy. There’s no order in how to pull in/​fill-​up as it’s right on the corner of Mass Ave and Columbus. It’s 24 hours with an ATM and there’s a little convenience store window – so it’s handy.
I also like that all of the cabs seem to fill up here, so I just run over to the corner to catch a ride to the clubs and what not on weekends.
If I notice a drop in available cabs because people start using this corner, I’m deleting this review. Kthxbai.
