I went to the hair salon at Shadow Blade. A little skeptical due to the reviews read, but was instead pleasantly surprised. Not only the staff was very nice, but the co-​owner, Stephen Hanson, really knows what he’s doing. I definitely recommend getting your hair done here. They are also the only place in the city that have non-​formaldehyde straightening treatment.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I have been a recurring client with Stephen for years and the new salon is terrific. Service is wonderful. Staff is pleasant and go out of their way to be helpful. Stephen is an awesome hairdresser.
