Sarni Dry Cleaners

Never on time and they lost all my clothes last time. In addition to losing 5 pounds of clothing, they had no idea where it went and wouldn’t provide any sort of reimbursement. They were supposed to call me 5 days ago with a solution and I haven’t received one call. Their website says «#1 in Boston» but who is rating? Next time, I am just going to hand wash my clothes in the sink! Do not use this washing service.

I wish I could give zero stars.
I brought a dress here to be hemmed and picked it up on a Friday. By Tuesday, the hem already fell out.
I went back to explain and the nasty woman behind the counter said «This is NOT our work — We do NOT use this type of material to fix hems. You have the wrong dress.»
After explaining to her that I am in fact not stupid (or trying to get a free hem) and know that this is the same dress, she then said «maybe she just didn’t fix it then» — Awesome, then I paid for nothing.

Just terrible. I called in advance to see if they could clean some pillows — which they confirmed the could.
I arrived on the day they were available to pick them up and they told me they were not ready yet. I came in five days later and they said they could not clean them at all — but they never bothered to call. They didn’t even have the pillows there, and wanted me to come back (Again) to pick them up.
In addition to being over-​priced, they clearly don’t have great customer service. Avoid them.

I live near this cleaners and find that they are generally great. The people that work there are hit or miss sometimes. I do love the fact that I can bring my pup Carmelo in during our walk to drop off or pick up, while getting him a little snack.
I love the care that they take with the clothes — they are always neatly hung with the most care — my dresses all are in these half mannequins with fake boobs to make sure they hold shape. I have only had to send things back a couple times — once most recently when they did not fix a hole I had placed in my dress that I requested. Other than that they are usually spot on with cleanings and mending.
One time the temporarily lost one of my items — I was about to sign them off, but I received an apologetic call that they found it.
All in all it is hard to find a good cleaners in Boston. I have tried them all in the north end and this is my favorite to date.

The people who work at this location are very nice. But the Sarni cleaners will shrink everything you own. I also get pissed off when they steal my collar tabs.
It is also pretty expensive.

They did an excellent job of tailoring a pair of jeans for me — you can’t tell that the stitching isn’t original. The price ($ 22) was just about what I would expect to pay. Plus they were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.
