Moron Alert. Two doctors take a walk around the Theatre District(sounds like a corny joke coming, doesn’t it?). Doctor one spots an attractive area rug in the Roche Bobois window. Wandering in to the establishment, they spot a seated, semi-comatose knuckle-dragger(Roche Bobois management might, erroneously, call him a «salesman»), and inquire as to the price of the rug. Monsieur Moron(drop the fake French accent next time, as your less-than-humble Unilocal contributor is a Francophile(or at least a fan of the GIGN and RAID Assault Teams) appears bothered to be bothered by two women in jeans. He rudely replies that«the price is on the tag» and sits back down to continue his(never to be fulfilled) fantasy of one day becoming a useful contributor to society. Was it their gender? Perhaps their dress? Perhaps it was his inability to engage in an intelligent conversation so as to ascertain whether the shopper might have the means(perhaps cash in pocket) to purchase his exceedingly expensive, multi-colored, multi-thousand dollar pee-pee pad? As one who owned a lovely sectional, purchased from Maurice Villency years ago, I assure you that there are far finer places to visit when seeking to spend your earned income.

Fancy store with really modern style furniture and mean, snobbish staff. I was browsing and checking out a cute sectional for less than ten minutes. Taking a break from the shopping of furniture to read and I was told to leave immediately if I didn’t want to discuss the furniture. Well I’m not coming back ever. You can keep your fancy furniture to your fancy customers on your packed Sunday mornings.
