Haven’t spent a lot of time here but I ordered a pizza to go and it was great. I would definitely go back, but I like to pick slices. Not get personal pies.

This place does a great job hiring staff who is hardworking, dedicated and extremely customer service oriented. Yes it can get busy but they do make every effort to provide the same level of customer service whether you are a regular or someone from out of town enjoying some Boston food and entertainment. I am not a regular but they make me feel like one.

We randomly selected this restaurant while walking down the street. We were delighted with the food, service, and prices. Check it out!

I have to say been coming here now at least twice a week for the last 4 weeks or so. In for Bruins games as well as for courses across the street. The owner is always present, staff her is tops, food is great, atmosphere is friendly and fun, good tunes and tv screens all around. Doris, realizing I’ve tried quite a few items on the menu, recommended the mix grill, its not on the menu but a must try, as is Rocco’s!

Good place to watch games with audio, food is average. Had a really terrible experience with a waitress. She said her name was Doris. Rude. Aggressive. Abrasive. Pushy. Knew little to nothing about the menu. My group left and I was in line for the bathroom after we paid, and when she saw that we didn’t tip«enough» I heard her complaining to the bus girl about our tip. I’ve normally had decent experiences at this place as I go several times a year for various sporting events. But watch out for Doris.

Halfway through the chicken pizza we realized the pieces of chicken had a lot of aluminum foil around them. Besides being unacceptable and health threatening, WHOSTORESFOODINALUMINUMFOIL? What’s the reasoning? I don’t get it. Anyway, try to avoid this place.

# 1 thing — Don’t fall for tourist traps around North End $$$! When me and my boyfriend just moved in to North End we literally ate from every restaurant and after months of intense search we came to fair conclusion that Rocco’s are the best around, because of the price + quality of food + customer service = we just can’t stopping coming! The Stuff is always friendly, they work fast and with joy. So don’t be lazy and walk down the Hanover street and try the real taste of North End! P.S; I tried a beautiful veal pasta Today — I wish I took a picture. What a complex palette of flavors — it’s hard to even describe. I should say that I love veal and not every chef knows how to cook it well. 10 stars to this chef — he smartly stuffed veal with mozzarella and prociouto which gave it a nice multilayered, but tender taste. Plus I was lucky to try delicious lobster bisque– OMG! Me and my boyfriend had to fight for it — it was finger licking good. The bowl was spotless– no need to wash it!

I have not eaten at Rocco’s, I’ve only gone for drinks during game days and once for fight night. The place was packed and tough to get up to the bar, but it’s a cool spot to watch sports. If you can get here before the crowds, you’ll enjoy fight night much more, since Rocco’s is one of very few that even show them in town.

Family owned place that has high quality food. Comfortable vibe that makes you not want to leave, enjoy the drinks and great eats for wonderful prices. Can’t go wrong, perfect place to go with groups.

How do you mess up nachos? So dry and the cheese was burnt to the plate. The chicken was over cooked.

Very friendly waitress who’s name I can’t remember, but she did come from Utah. That I do recall… Great food, atmosphere was great and I even managed to watch my hockey team, Calgary Flames win. Which made the night even sweeter.

I really wanted to like this place. They have a good location near my office but far enough away from Hanover street to avoid the tourists. Went in once for drinks and had a decent time, but second time I was there we actually wanted to eat. Ordered drinks and my glass had a lipstick stain on it. Waited for server to come back and take food order, but at that point was so grossed out we just left. I noticed they just changed their name and signage, maybe they’ll improve.

Still awful. I wrote a post on 8÷6÷15 about being charged wrong and went back today to test it out. They changed the menu to be clear, but I could still count on the waitress to screw it up. Congratulations, Waterfront for serving a sub-par salad with shitty ingredients you could buy at any discount grocery or sundry store and successfully charging $ 20 for it. I’ll post the receipt.

I was traveling from NYC for work and stopped into the Waterfront Café for the football games and loved this Boston style sports bar. I was nervous at first wearing my Jets jersey but everybody was crazy nice. I came on to write a great review and recommend anyone in the Boston area stop by and check this place out for sports games. I also saw this lady shot a weird note(below) and wanted to make sure I commented as everybody I met was very nice. There was a direcTV issue real quick but the bar owner gave me a free drink and had it fixed quick. i didn’t miss a thing. Anyhow, love this spot and will definitely be checking it back out when I head back for work. ________________ «Went here first Sunday of football. One game on. Bartenders tried to fix for hours but I guess they forgot a password? Extremely rude about it. Should have stayed home. Could have watched one game there.»

The place sucks. I asked the bar tender, didn’t catch his name if they had Red Brick by Sam Adams. Rather that act like he has a personality he simply said, «no» and looked at me. My wife asked about beers on tap and he just got beer menu, handed it to her and walked away. The place was empty, a bar tender with a clue actually talks to the people on the spending side. Ordered a pizza that was dry and burned on the bottom. You would think that the closest bar to Hanover street where some of the best pizza and Italian food in the country is served these guys would have at least watch a YouTube video on making pizza. Save your money and time, go somewhere else.

Stopped in here today to catch the end of the U.S. Open. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive and didn’t pressure us to order quickly since we were watching an event. Had a nice olive and bread pre meal and then great entrees. My husband loved his burger said it was the best he’s had while in town and my turkey club was good as well. This place is small but we had no problem getting in for lunch and really enjoyed observing some local Boston flavor.

Extremely poor and rude service from redhead waitress and very rude doorman as well. Orders for food and drink were never heard and consistently forgotten by the waitress and she would accuse us of never placing orders. When an the bill was miscalculated she was extremely sarcastic with us and accused us of being petty for not wanting to pay for food and drink we hadn’t ordered. The food and drink was nice but a bit pricey, however the extremely poor manner with which we were treated for the whole night really ruined the experience. I have never been treated worse in any bar or restaurant before and I would not want to go back here again as a result.

Waterfront is an awesome little sports bar located in Boston’s north end. I was brought to this place by the trusty UFC app as this is one of the only places in downtown Boston that shows UFC, which is awesome in my book. The location itself isn’t bad and the establishment is very well maintained. Had a bunch of beers and actually a couple of dishes which were all delicious. The eggplant parm is ridiculously good and I’d highly recommend it! Overall, this is a great spot to grab a drink and there are literally TVs everywhere, perfect for watching the game or any UFC event. Solid 4 stars. Pros– TVs Food Beer selection Service UFC fights Appetizers Cons– Small Crowded during fight night A bit out of the way

If you are looking for a terrific neighborhood bar with a lot character, great food and a place you can watch any game that you want, then you need to visit the Waterfront Café. I have lived in Manhattan and been to plenty of other sports bars in many other cities as well and I would put the Waterfront Café as my all time favorite neighborhood bar. The reasons why are simple… you can carry on a conversation while there, it’s not a pretentious crowd, the food is made by an actual chef and tasty, you are never turned away if you want to watch an out of market game and the owner is constantly investing back into the business and making sure the customers are very happy. It’s just a great place and everyone of my friends I have taken there has loved it as well. Try it and you won’t be disappointed. This is a hidden gem.

Great little sports bar in the North End. The Waterfront Café had plenty of tvs, reasonable drinks, and very friendly bartenders. It wasn’t very crowded and had a very relaxed pub vibe. The food was also very good as we ordered the sampler for $ 18.99 — which included chicken wings, jalapeño poppers, mozarella sticks, and fried pickles. Everything in the sampler was tasty(although can you really go wrong with those options) and it is definitely worth ordering 1 of those while watching the games and grabbing a brew.

My gf and I ordered a margherita pizza from this place on Grubhub and it was the worst pizza we’ve ever had. The pizza was cold, the cheese was barely there, tomato sauce was bland, it had some dried oregano that was hard to bite into, and the dough and bread had a consistency of a firm cardboard, tasting like a cracker. Maybe the food is better when you are at the reataruant, but this delivery experience was hugely disappointing.

Been there a few times. They have good appetizers, a nice pub environment, good music, cold beer. What else can you ask for? I would recommend people to go if their looking for that bar environment, which is rare in the north end.

Stick to the bevs. $ 24 steak ordered M was served W. Terribly underexpierienced waitress had no idea how to handle that feedback. The appropriate response would have been any variation of: I’m so sorry, may I have the chef prepare a new entrée? But she was a deer in headlights. So I ate it. I was hungry. It was good. Would have been much better M for the $. Server so timid, looked like she would have a panic attack bringing the bill. The original server was great. She offered a correction to the situation after my bill was brought to the table. I can only deduce timid server did not convey the pertinent info to her in time.
