The store itself is pretty tired-looking, but it maintains good stock, has a large food section, is spacious, and not crowded. The check-out line is rarely more than 1 or 2 customers long. Look for the $ 1 section along the right behind the cashiers; there are good deals to be found on grocery and household items.

This Rite Aid is great, it’s got good service in the pharmacy department and tons to choose from in their snack aisles. I wished there were more Ride Aid’s on the Boston side… whhhhhy? Is this a political thing, because there are tons on the Cambridge side of the land! Be sure to check out their $ 1 section, there’s some good gems there and don’t forget the on sale seasonal candies. I got 2 bags of gummies for 87cents each! Most places like CVS and Walgreens don’t do «real sales» anymore. I believe they just throw all the candy in the back corner so they can bring it all back out next year — but not this Ride Aid! They actually have named brands out there for 50−75% off so keep an eye out! Can’t say much more except that I wished it was closer to a T-line, but I’ll trek the 10 extra walking minutes from Park Street station to get what I need!

Rite Aid is great, they are super cheap(my meds are 70% cheaper here then CVS, $ 140 to $ 99). They are fast, rarely a line, they will call you personally to tell you your medicine is in. They have no issues transferring locations, they take the initiative to remind you in advance your prescription is close to the expiration date, and they will contact the doctor for you. This place serves you like you are their only customer.

This is right below my office building… very convenient… always seems a bit dirty, but it’s ok in a pinch.

This place is a huge effing mess but also hugely convenient. The aisles are usually chaos, messy, unkept. Oh well. It seems like they have a much larger selection of well… everything. Much more than CVS in Charles River Plaza or by Charles MGH. They have a huge assortment of different snack-type foods, as well as cereal, frozen foods, drinks, etc. I also like their health section. Tons of different protein bars, protein shakes, and looooots of vitamins and minerals! Has anyone noticed the INFOMERCIAL section? They may be my chance at trying Kinoki Foot pads! Hours aren’t great. Wish they were open a little later. All the people who work here are really nice!

At the foot of Bowdoin and Cambridge Streets, on the area between Beacon Hill, Downtown, and the West End, this Rite Aid used to be a Brooks Pharmacy. Overall, the hours are a little unconducive to post-work shopping, but they do have those 6-pack Diet Pepsi 24 oz soda things, and considering I’m now building my music collection via Amazon Music, so these things are golden. That being said, the hours aren’t nearly as good as they should be, so that’s reflected in the review(they’re usually closed by 8 weekdays, and 6 on the weekends).
