I was really surprised with this one given all the other reviews. I ordered the dumpling noodle soup and my friend got the spicy beef noodle soup — both just okay. The broth for mine was great but the noodles were terrible and the dumplings weren’t cooked right. Portions are huge but i couldn’t really eat mine. Looking to find a better Phở place.

One of the best places in the Super 88 food court. I usually get the rice plates, which come with boatloads of rice and will fill you up instantly. The lemongrass beef is amazing. The food also seems to be healthier than most of the other restaurants as well. Definitely my go-to place for takeout.

I was so disappointed. We ordered fried rice with shrimp, but the guy gave us fried rice with chicken by mistake. The chicken tasted so bad. It was over fried too much and as hard as a stone. I don’t know if they did it on purpose since we stressed ‘with shrimp’ twice when ordering.

This spot is the best!!! It’s a small spot in the super 88 market. Literally everything that I’ve tried at Phở Viets is amazing. The Cha Gio, Crab Rangoon, spring rolls, chicken wings, viet coffee, etc. My favorite dish there has to be their phở sâtê, otherwise known as #53. It’s very spicy, comes with watercress, lean beef, diced onions, peanuts, and cilantro. Phenomenal. If you’re in the area CHECKTHISPLACEOUT!!!

The phở here is decent. I thought the broth that came with the beef phở was pretty rich and good. It also came with a variety of different parts of beef including stomach. That being said, I wouldn’t really say the phở is above average. Maybe I’m spoiled after living in the Bay Area, but this is just run of the mill food court phở.

— credit card accepted & self-served — cheap and fast with good portion of food — don’t know why but the soup in many of their dishes are always salty

I really enjoy coming here for some quick and cheap Vietnamese food. I ordered the vermicelli with lemongrass chicken and an egg roll and it was delicious! They give you a lot of meat whenever you order but the eggroll was lacking. It didn’t have a lot of filling in it and didn’t taste very good alone. My boyfriend ordered the bun bo hue, which I tried and I really did not like it at all. It tasted more like bo kho(Vietnamese spicy beef stew — which is different than bun bo hue!) than bun bo hue. They also put black pepper as a garnish which I didn’t like at all either… I would go for more of the rice dishes and vermicelli entrees than the phở or bun bo hue. They also accept credit cards, which is awesome!

I love a cheap, fast and authentic vietnamese place that are not cheap with their portions(these types of restaurants are hard to come by now-a-days I truly love their Banh Mi(vietnamese subs) I got all of my old co-workers at herb chambers Porsche addicted to these. They are cheap & amazing. I would have to say this is my most favorite vietnamese restaurant in Boston. I highly recommend you try their Subs, & short ribs rice dish.

Food: 3.0÷5.0 Service: 2.5÷5.0 Value: 3.0÷5.0 Décor: 2.0÷5.0 Overall: 3.0÷5.0 For whatever reason, establishments in Asian food courts tend to get overrated, and this is no exception. The food is merely okay, and the prices feel cheap but really aren’t unique compared to pretty much every other phở house around. I call it the«omg this place looks so grimy it must be cheap even though I can see the printed prices and it isn’t really» effect. This effect happens to be the first cousin to the«omg this place looks so grimy I must have found a sweet new secret hipster hole in the wall that serves to die for food even though I’m eating it right now and it doesn’t take that great» phenomena. Haha, I kid. Not.

Super quick and convenient, phở viet is run by such a cute vietnamese couple(thank goodness) who make the food oh so close to possibly authentic as «fast food» as one can get when it comes to phở. I like that they are in a food court so you can sit anywhere and it doesn’t feel too cramped. The selection here is huge and the great thing about this selection is that ITISALLPICTURES! just like some of the few other restaurants in the food court. The pictures really don’t do the items justice, but you do actually get what is picture and even more flavor than a normal inkjet and laminating machine can capture! I got the Banh Canh, which is a vietnamese udon soup crab and shrimp paste style. This tastes like how my mom would make. its really flavorful and it wasn’t too full of MSG so I was able to finish more than what would normally do my fill. Although, I was able to finish more of it because I asked to change the banh canh noodles to phở noodles, it was really oily, as in I think I am wiping off lip gloss oily. My dinner date got a version of phở that was on the lighter side and was delightful as well, but just a teensy bit oily as well despite his selection having so much greens and coming from a pork soup broth instead of seafood. Honestly, this place is very good but the reason that I am only giving it 3 stars is because it was my first visit and I have yet to fully see what really can blow me away and keep me possibly think of coming here instead of my usual phở place.

Cheap food, no frills. I love a nice, heaping bowl of phở and this place does just that. Before I even had the chance to find a place to sit, the food was ready. Located inside a food court with plenty of other options(Indian, Thai, Korean, dim sum, etc.), you’ll probably have a tough time making a decision unless you know exactly what you’re going for.

A cheap, authentic Vietnamese restaurant located in the Super 88 food court. I love seeing the family behind the counter working hard, smiling, and delivering quality service and food to its customers. If you’re confused about what to eat when you’re in the food court, give this place a try. The prices are hard to beat, and the flavors are on point. The menu is extensive and authentic. I love stopping by here when I want a quick phở fix, especially when the weather is getting colder.

Really solid bowls of phở and spring rolls! If I lived closer, I’d probably come here at least twice a week. Definitely my favorite restaurant in 88 Market. The phở broth is flavorful and yummy, but it doesn’t taste like«real» phở soup. Unfortunately, it kind of tastes like MSG to me. I can overlook this because of the large quantities at low prices though. For ~$ 8(with no tip), you get a big bowl of phở with lots of meat(and it’s not fatty — just how I like it!). I always go with the Bun Bo Hue, but I’ve tried and enjoyed others. I really recommend trying their beef spring rolls. They are packed with flavorful meal, vermicelli, and lettuce — probably the biggest spring rolls I’ve ever seen around the area! If you order phở, you get the beansprouts and lime on a little plate. Oftentimes, they forget to give me this, so I have to ask. They also have bottles of Sriracha and hoisin sauce you can take with you to your table.

It’s flu season. Get the chicken noodle soup. It’s so damn good here! Great chicken broth and soothing for your achy body. The crispy fried onions slay me. Also, it’s really nice to not have to go to Dorchester for awesome Vietnamese food. Some other great fall/winter choices: –Any of their phos — beef broth tastes goooood –Banh mi sandwiches — I’ve had the grilled pork and grilled chicken here. Both meats have a lemongrass flavor, which I really enjoy. Also a steal at $ 4 for the budget conscious or students. Awesome summer food: –Vermicelli bowls, especially the grilled pork with an egg roll. Refreshing, semi light, and delicious. Other notes: –Sometimes I get just one protein in my phở and add a veggie like broccoli for $ 1 just to change it up. –Ask for a side of greens, lime and bean sprouts — they sometimes forget to give it to you with your order! Same for hoisin sauce, which you actually don’t really need because their broth is delicious! Super friendly and very fast service. I’ve made the circuit around the 88 food court and never tried this place for at least 2 years, but now I basically only come to get their food! Do your belly a favor and go. P. S. There’s a phở place in Allston next to the Refuge Café that doesn’t come close to this one for food flavors and deliciousness. No competition really!

Definitely a Big Fan of this place. I use to be very skeptical of Vietnamese food outside of Dorchester where there is a big Vietnamese community. I use to pass over this place at super 88 food court many times because of that reason, however one time when looking at their great pictures, I decided to give this place a try and boy am I happen I did. The food is great and the prices are very cheap and reasonably. I now frequently eat here everytime I’m at the 88 food court. This is now a favorite of mine. They offer a huge variety of selections for being inside a food court from stir fry noodle, rice, soup noodles, phở, and even banh mi for 4 $. Banh mi in this area for 4 $ can’t be beat!!! Seriously! Among the things I’ve had here are their rice with chicken and vegetables a clay pot, crispy fried noodle with seafood, and their rice noodle in a clear soup broth with various seafood. Everything was good each time. Give this place a try if you want some tasty, authentic inexpensive vietnamese food!

Went here to grab a bite to eat for a quick lunch since this place is right down the street from where I work. After reading many of the reviews, I opted for the grilled chicken banh mi. The price, after tax, was $ 4.25 so I tipped them the extra 75 cents – always love a lunch for $ 5. I was expecting a smallish sandwich, but I was presently surprised with the size of it. The chicken was cooked well and was flavored with a sweet sauce that I liked. I might opt for something a little spicy to go in it next time, but it was very tasty. Overall, I had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for the sandwich, but for the pricing and quality, this place is hard to beat.

Located in the Hong Kong Supermarket Food Court, Phở Viet’s is a great place to stop for fast Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Whenever I’m in the area(usually before a concert at The Paradise) and need something filling to eat that won’t break the bank, I’ll stop at the Phở Viet’s counter for a big bowl of Phở, which is under $ 10. I’ve enjoyed the Fish Ball Noodle Soup(Phở Tai Vien), Seafood Soup(Mi Hai San), and Thick Rice Noodle Soup with Crabmeat, Seafood, & Pork(Banh Canh Cua). The big bowls of soup are served very hot with plenty of meats, vegetables, noodles, and hearty broth. The service here is prompt and food made fresh to order, usually in about 5 – 10 minutes, they will call out your order when ready for pickup. After reading the other reviews, I will definitely have to try the other offerings on the menu including the Vietnamese sandwiches, Lemongrass dishes, and Banh Mi dishes.

I come here for their banh mi sandwiches because it’s only $ 4 and pretty filling! When it comes out, the bread is toasty, warm and crispy so make sure you eat it before it gets cold! The sauce is so addicting… I’m not so sure what the spread is, but it works perfectly with their grilled meats. I recommend the grilled beef because it’s cooked just right. I’ve heard of when the pork and chicken can get a bit tough. My friend got the spring rolls with vermicelli and the spring rolls were good, but the noodles lacked literally everything. It was just a big pile of vermicelli noodles with a small side of fish sauce. I guess that’s what vermicelli is, but my friend didn’t enjoy it every much… Come here when you’re craving a little thai. It’s cheap, fast and authentic. You can see the thai workers in the kitchen!
