Neponset Tailoring & DryCleaning

I had to get some alterations done & took my item here. The seamstress said she could have it for me as early as the next day. I said, no rush, it can wait for a few days (Wednesday). So Wednesday comes, I go there after work, and she has it — hanging on the back of the chair & says «woops! I didn’t see that I needed to do this today» as she is working on other things. I said that I had given her 4 extra days & didn’t make her rush it & she still couldn’t get it done?! I had a job interview the next day for which I needed this & she knew that from the beginning. She asks me if I could come back in an hour — I said I couldn’t, I had to drive 45 mins to get my son & then come back through traffic. WTF. So I go get my son, go home, and my husband brings me back (as there is no parking lot there and limited street parking, plus it was downpouring at the time & I had to jump out & get back in the car). I picked up my item & noticed that the buttons were crooked and the fabric was sewn in a way that bunched up the fabric. I was PISSED. No refund, no money taken off, nothing. I’ll never go here for alterations or anything else ever again. Someone that doesn’t care about their customer’s needs does not deserve customers.

I went here to get a zipper replaced on my heavy winter coat in December. The woman was really nice and told me that because it is so cold and this was my winter coat she would have it ready for me «in one week, maybe less, I call you.» Great!
Two weeks go by and I didn’t hear anything so I went there. It wasn’t ready. She was apologetic, but told me I should have called before I came to get it.
Another week goes by, I finally pick up my coat. In the meantime there were 2 major storms I didn’t have my heavy coat for. She did take $ 5 off the price.

This place is awesome! I’ve been in the Marine corps for six years and have since been promoted to sergeant. Took my uniforms there every time i got promoted to get my rank put on. Had them custom tailor my dress blues and charlies which turned out great. Just recently got on the Boston fire dept and had them tailor the jacket to my uniform for my graduation last minute. The kind lady got it done the same day I brought it in for $ 40! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
