The only show in town, so of you want to launch your boat in Boston at a free ramp, you go here. It’s basically just a rocky beach, and if the tide’s out you’ll want to make sure you’re parked up far enough, but it’ll get you into the harbor. For my purposes, it’s a great place to kayak; the waste is usually pretty calm, and there isn’t a lot of boat traffic in the area, plus you can cross over to a little park/​beach in Quincy.
