Professional and friendly, Gene helped me move large and heavy furniture up four flights of stairs in blistering humidity and heat without batting an eye. He also helped put the furniture together. His positive attitude and suggestions for getting the furniture around tight corners made the job much easier.

Stay away. Jean Connolly, owner of Mobile Handyman, is completely unskilled. He is personable and seems to know what he’s talking about during the estimate, but don’t let this fool you. He spent 3x as long as expected while he worked on a job to build and install a closet organizer, which was not built to the correct dimensions and needed to be re-​done. He did not have the skills to complete the job, and in a display of extreme unprofessionalism, he chose to acknowledge this by failing to show up and returning my deposit by mail. I was left with paying to have the materials he left behind hauled away, and repairs done to the moldings and walls in my house, and to contract with someone else for the original job. Zero stars for this guy — he’s only going to cost you time and money.

If you want to complete projects, stay away from Mobile Handyman — they cancel at the last minute.
