Worst customer service ever. A cashier refused to give me a cup for tap water after I placed my order, saying that I’m «only getting a hash brown.» She had such an attitude and everybody stared at her in astonishment. Very unprofessional.

McDonald’s purpose for a 20-something is to satisfy drunk hunger. After a late night of three or four drinks too many, I had a delicious Big Mac, fries, and a Coke. Notwithstanding the homeless person passed out in the restaurant and the filthy bathroom, they fulfilled their purpose. Boom.

For a McDonald’s, their menu options are really limited! Some of the workers are really nice, but some are rather inconsiderate. In other words, make sure to check the menu for all hidden deals before you place an order.

The seating here is kind of strange and I find it very disgusting and confusing that they sweep the dining area when there are people around, but other than that, it’s in a great location and I’ve always encountered friendly staff.

McDonald’s is McDonald’s. Having said that, this location is convenient. Close to Fenway park and the green line. I usually stop by this place for a quick bite before I go in down town.

Compared to other McDonald’s I’ve been to, this one is kind of small. The seating is kind of weird — the chairs and tables seem kind of old, and there isn’t much in the terms of cleanliness. The garbage can was way overflowing. Staff was pretty disinterested, but this is to be expected from a McDonalds. It probably seems ridiculous to be reviewing a McDonald’s, but I do believe that some of them are nicer than others, and it’s something worth noting. This particular McD’s just looked so stark — the seating was arranged in a weird, long room behind the counter. It doesn’t look like the staff cleans the tables between customers. Food quality is the same as you would expect.

Unfriendly cashiers. Both in the morning, one Asian(Cantonese) women and another Latina. No smile, no ‘hello’, put your meal on the table and turn around. Very disrespectful. Night shifts guys are cool though.

Two stars for location. I get that this is a McDonalds, so you can’t expect the world and more. But this one, plain and simple, it’s nasty. The staff are downright rude, the food looks like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp all day. But the worst part is cleanliness. I don’t think the floor has been mopped since the mid-90’s. I’ve stepped in spilled ketchup, almost slipped on puddles of soda, and it also seems to be the hangout of choice for Kenmore’s homeless population who harangue you for change and food while you eat. Pro tip: Don’t even think about using the bathroom. I once found a blood-soaked t-shirt stuffed into the sink.

This has to be the absolute worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I used to work in the area and so if I was really desperate, I’d end up here. The mid-morning and early afternoon staff is disgustingly rude. Common courtesy must not have been part of their hiring training! I’ve never heard a ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ unless it was FROM a customer. Also severe lack of dollar menu. Considering the amount of foot traffic coming in, you’d imagine that the franchise owner could cut their customers some slack.

I have to agree with the majority of the folks on here. This is the grossest MD’s I’ve ever visited and my deluxe Angus burger smelled more like anus to the point that I just ate the fries. The facility is filthy throughout and the employees don’t seem to care about the mess. The only reason I give a star is because the coffee is already made.

If I could give ZERO stars, this McDonald’s would be getting it. WORST customer service EVER. The cashier was RUDE. We would ask a question, and she’d answer back with attitude. She was NOT attentive or polite at all. We also asked for $ 2 in change, and she said she was«out.» I’ve worked cashier before, and I’m pretty sure you have quarters in it when you start the day off. Ridiculous. Other than that, it’s your typical McDonald’s breakfast food.

I’ve never left a review for a McDonalds… what would be the point? They’re supposed to be the same no matter which one you’re at, which is why we all eat there for the most part. Not this one. It took me 5 minutes to order 4 items… I speak quite clearly and do not have an accent. I’m concerned about the effects of Darwin’s law on the girl behind the register. I stood there 10 minutes watching everyone behind the counter watching me as I stood waiting for my order. Apparently, it was a showdown. I finally inquired about my order as I was pretty certain several other customers behind me had already walked away with what looked like bags filled with food in their hands. I had to review it with them… item by item. Back at my room, I bit into an un-toasted English muffin stuffed with a cold rubbery egg, unmelted cheese, and an uncooked slice of Canadian bacon. At least I had my Caramel Latte. After one sip, I feared I would go into sugar shock if I drank any more. I’m concerned for the entire staff here…

Eating at this McDonald’s is sorta like going back in time to the 80’s. Not because this particular establishment hasn’t changed since the 80’s. Back then it was much darker and dingier. No, it’s arguably worse than that. At this McDonald’s, you might get your food maybe 15 seconds after you order it. Why on earth is that bad? Because modern McDonald’ses actually put your food together on the spot, and that can’t be done in 15 seconds. It shows. The burgers are heat-lamped and dry and disappointing. There is no dollar menu. You’re paying more for a decidedly sub-optimal McExperience. While i still visit from time to time, it never quite sates my need for delicious McDonaldsness.

I’ve stopped in here on occasion prior to class. Each time, it has been a consistent experience with the food and the service. I have found the service actually to be quite good for a fast-food restaurant, given the high traffic volume of the location. Most orders are filled within three minutes or less, and the people working the counter are friendly so long as you are friendly to them. I don’t have much to say about the food other than it’s McDonald’s. Again, it’s consistent, which is what you would expect from them. I don’t know how many people use Unilocal to find reviews of McDonald’s food in any case :-) McDonald’s is good in a pinch or when you’re in a hurry. Avoid Red Sox games and you’ll do just fine here.

I love the 3 star«A– OK» rating. It is for those places that someone asks you to go and your reply can range from a reluctant OK to a slightly interested OK. I left without one of my hubbies burgers today and when I got back to pick it up the lady apologized(even though it was MY fault) and gave me a q pon for another one. How sweet! It is because of the economy that I bother reviewing the ol Mickey D’s but I gotta say it still isn’t as cheap as it should be. On a side note if you are a lady surfin the crimson wave get your self a brownie melt and feel the pain literally melt away…(Sorry for those who were grossed out by that but you have to admit Mickey D’s is pretty gross too when you think about it– so there you go.)

I didn’t eat here, let’s just assume McDonald’s is McDonald’s… but the staff here is quite friendly, and it’s a great bathroom stop in between bars, or Fenway and the T. You used to definitely need a token, but they probably got sick of everyone and their mother coming in with a broken seal, so you can just push it to go in.

This McDonald’s, which always seems to have renovations happening to it or next to it, is right next to the Kenmore T-Station on the Green Line. If you’re looking for a cheaper, quick, equally as nutritious meal before heading over to the game at Fenway, you’re familiar with this McDonald’s. The prices are a little higher here and they’ve been known to be stingy with the sauces. The good part about this McDonald’s is that it’s much bigger than it looks, making it a decent place to hit if you have a big group that is fiending for some greasy goodness. However, there are always a lot of homeless people around this McDonald’s and it’s very tough to say that you have no change when they just saw you pay with cash at the counter. I suppose it comes with the territory, but the management is pretty good about keeping it decent in there. Like any McDonald’s, these guys are VERY serious about having no photography done of the counter area. I have a very vivid memory of a manager chasing a photographer out of the restaurant who came in and took a picture of the menu. They’re real serious about this here, so Unilocalers, beware! However, at the end of the day, it’s a McDonald’s. It has a great location that is a nice oasis on a wicked hot day or a frickin’ cold day.
