Racist, rude waitresses. Waited 15 mins and no one came over to give me a menu of take my order, even though they could clearly see me waiting. The male waiter was the only one that seemed like he was doing his job. Never had to walk out of a restaurant before — this was a first. Extremely disappointing.

Looking at the menu they advertised a side of jalapeño cheese polenta that looked promising. Waiting for a flight I decided to treat myself to a salmon dinner, medium rare. During ordering I was told that they no longer carry the polenta… So chips and onion strings it was… Fish came out well done. And they quickly took it back to re-fire. The second time the fish came out more blue than rare as the center was still cold and only about 1⁄8 of an inch was somewhat cooked and ward. This time the fish was Atleast edible. When I was almost finished the manager approached me and apologized for how the fish was cooked and gave me my meal on the house! This kind of service is amazing and has more than made up for what was probably a new line cooks learning experience. I will certainly go back the next time I am in the airport!

Very expensive. We ordered the crab cake combo. Over $ 30. Came with 5 small scallops, 3 small shrimp, and a lump of crab(not really a crab cake), with a bland salad. We also ordered the calamari — pretty typical fried calamari… but again expensive and not a lot of it. So… $ 50 later two people walked away hungry and dissatisfied. Went to dunkin donuts. At least the service was really friendly, and It was right next to our gate.

Best clam chowder hands down. Boston is a city filled with great and different types of chowders, but I like this one the best. The only one that comes close for me is the island creek bar clam chowder. But that is great because of the unique flavors. This one has a more traditional taste but is just the right amount of creamy and perfect. I picked up a quart from the airport to take with me back home.

A place I don’t hate in this terminal is great. I had the crab meat sandwich and was really nervous because I don’t generally like anything from legal seafood and I thought this was really good. It was from the takeout section so I have no comments on the service but it was a sandwich that would also be good outside the airport not just in. It was $ 15.99 with tax and a bags of chips that came with it which I thought was reasonable. I haven’t bought food in Logan in three years and this is a place I would get something from again.

I found this place over priced and bland. On my way out of Boston I really craved one last lobster roll. $ 28. ug. ok but I really want it, so I splurged. Big chunks of lobster but they managed to suck all of the lobster flavor out of the meat. The meat tasted like nothing except the celery mayo. I felt like it was a complete waste of money and calories. I did also enjoy a cup of chowder, which was tastey but barely had any chunks in it. Wrapped it up with a glass of rose and I was ready to board the plane. My server was very attentive and nice. They also did a good job of having lots of solo/bar and 2-seater tables but not too crammed in. The multiple tvs over the bar were a nice touch, and the wide open wall was even better for some people watching.

Definitely was pleased with chowder, crab salad, and key lime pie! Server at bar was very nice and friendly. Crab salad was delicious and served on half an avocado. But– wow the key lime pie with a pomegranate sauce was outstanding. All for $ 30 great deal given airport prices!

Waiting for our flight at the Boston Airport we decided to try the Legal Test Kitchen. We had a friend who swore by Legal Restaurants so we wanted to see what all the hubbub was about. I ordered the Lobster Roll($ 28) and my wife ordered the Red Clam Chowder($ 8). My Lobster Roll was the average normal size I would say and came with a decent amount of lobster(see below). It came with Onion Straws which were delicious. I was very happy with the taste. The cost however, was pretty brutal. I am told that normally you pay like $ 20 – 30 for lobster rolls so while this was on the high side(probably because it is in an airport), it was in the ballpark of cost. My Wife received her Red Clam Chowder and raved about it. She said it was VERY tasty but left her wanting more which I could clearly tell as it came in a tiny coffee cup. For $ 8, I feel you should get a bowl of it, but hey… what do I know. I’m glad we checked this place out, enjoyed our food and had a good time. I recommend it if you are in the airport, want seafood and don’t mind shelling out a pretty penny.

Great food — ordered a grilled fish sandwich that wasn’t listed on the menu and it was wonderful! Excellent service from Fabian! Fabian– you should move into management! I travel for work a lot and have been to tons of restaurants– this was a great experience! Merry Christmas.

Solid option for a quick meal in the Boston airport — I had some time to kill after arriving and wanted to try their famous clam chowder before I left, this was very close to my gate so it was the winner! It was packed when I got to the airport around 6:30 — which makes sense. Luckily I was all alone so I snuck into a bar-top type of seat. There was a decent amount of space underneath the table for my carry on bag which I appreciated. I was quickly greeted by the server and ordered some water and beer [I got the Harpoon IPA, I liked it!] It came very fast! I knew I really wanted to try their chowder [as I mentioned previously] but wanted something else with it. Asked him if there were any small salad options, since all on the menu were big. He said they can do a half caesar. Perfect! One thing to note, this is a limited menu compared to the full Legal chain, but that obviously makes sense seeing as it is a smaller place in an aiport. The food came and it was the perfect pre-flight dinner! Very yummy, perfect size and attentive service. Glad I made the decision to haul my bags in!

Legal Seafood at Logan Airport. Fast and convenient. Same great food and service. Understand you have a flight to catch. Had crab salad. Scrumptious with the obligatory cup of clam chowder. Ahh. All airport food should be this good. Nice servers.

Airport bar /restaurant location so check your expectations but otherwise it’s got fresh seafood — had great cocktail shrimp and an order of calamari. Good selection of alcohol too and they have Chopin vodka! Good option for when you’re wandering Logan in the Delta terminal.

We were seated, and then flat out ignored for 20 minutes. I think that is my biggest pet peeve with restaurants. When you see people seated, looking at a menu, at least say hi and take a drink order?! I realize how snotty I sound but come on, people. There were three servers I could see just joking around with each other in the back, NOT working. This has happened only one other time in my life and I have shunned that restaurant since(not naming names, but they are a shack known for crab). We got the clam chowder, crab cake appetizer and fish & chips entrée. The food was all right, but the service just put a bad taste in my mouth. Everything was just slow. I don’t really get why because they had just opened, and it wasn’t busy. They were even slow to bring the check. You would think an airport restaurant would be quick getting customers in and out… Am I wrong?

Surprising little outpost for the airport — and the prices are reasonable for inside security at any airport. Chowder($ 6) was solid, but not too special. Oysters($ 3 ea) were fine, but I’d skip them next time. Lobster roll($ 17) was okay, a bit bland, but a good way to get a final dose of crustacean before departing New England. Service was good and they split the roll into two plates for us. Don’t go out of your way to visit, but if you have time to kill at BOS, this will do.

As far as I’m concerned, this was a solid airport food experience. I had an early flight and I’m a notoriously early arriver at airports. Especially when traveling for business, I like to find a corner to tuck into where I can pop open the laptop and get as current on work-related schtuff as possible before my flight. LTK wasn’t far from my gate and had basic, yet appealing, breakfast options. I chose the brioche french toast. I know — not the most adventurous item on the menu. However, it is, in fact, an airport. Also, I am a fan of all things sweet and breakfasty. It had been a while since I had the opportunity for french toast, so I took it. I will note that I longingly gazed at the peach Bellini option and was very tempted. If it weren’t for the laptop action I mentioned before, you better believe this would have been ordered as well. The food was good, basic, and satisfying. Nothing really to write home about, but I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The service was fine, if a bit slow. I was a tad surprised at this as I’m used to airport service being pretty high on the efficiency scale for obvious reasons. As I was in no rush, it didn’t bother me. If I had been more time constrained it would have sent my anxiety level through the roof. Another reason getting to the airport early always works in my favor. Would I go back? Maybe? I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid it, but it wasn’t so compelling that I wouldn’t take some time to try something new either.

This isn’t a bad stop if you’re hungry and have some time to kill. Nothing like its umbrella company«legal SEa food», but, it works. I had the«scrod«fish sandwich. It was not much to speak about but I entirely edible. The staff were great however. Very nice. Quick to provide you with what you want But, most importantly they can recommend what they actually like from the menu! It isn’t bad and could be worth a try.

I tried. This second go-round, after more than 12 years of avoiding Legal Seafoods just caps it for me. I will never eat at Legal Seafoods or any of their related chains ever again. More than 12 years ago, I went to a Legal Seafoods down in the Back Bay, and while the service and the atmosphere were very nice, the food was way sub par, especially considering the myriad seafood options in Boston. I claim ignorance, because this was in the days before I used Unilocal(or maybe before it even existed), and I just chose a restaurant based on proximity to my hotel. I ordered the grilled scallops and they were clearly not very fresh, and the sides that came with it(baked potato and vegetables) seemed like they had been cooked hours ago and had been sitting under a heatlamp since then. The potato was shriveled and the vegetables were flavorless and dry. To add insult to injury, I also got a mild case of food poisoning from this meal. Fast forward to now. I’m on my way out of Boston, at the Logan Airport Terminal A. Figure I may as well grab something to go for my flight, and the Test Kitchen was right there. I order a lobster roll to go, and at $ 25 for a puny 6.5 ounce roll, pretty darn pricey. I receive my order, board the plane, and when I open the box, I discover the lobster is rancid. Several pieces are even gray and moldy. What the hell. So I try to contact Legal Seafoods customer service line to ask for a refund. They have a number, which is under their«Quality Control Center» link on their website. I call the number. It asks me to enter the 4-digit extension of the person I’m looking for, or to press«0» for an operator. I press 0, and it just sends me right back to that same automated system, telling me to either press the 4-digit extension or press 0 for an operator. Again and again in an infinite loop. But I can tell you that I will not be stuck in an infinite loop of going to Legal and being disappointed time and again. Twice in a 12 year time span is enough for me.
