bottom line — not worth the cost considering the sub options next door(mulligans and Rustico) or very close by(Pauli’s for example) — same price much better lunch experience at the other places… «Jimmy John’s» should be priced like Subway imo — they charge double Subway prices Had lunch here a few minutes ago — kind of like a subway fast food chain i guess. Never heard of the chain before — anyway, the food was fresh, the sub tasted good, the bun used was pretty solid, and i came away full also(like Subway). Pretty basic menu(like Subway). They make your sub at lightening speed — took about 30 sec(faster than subway but can’t get it toasted!). They have a lot of kitschy signage all over the place — trying to too hard to be perceived as «hip» or something I guess… this was fine for a fast simple bite when you just want basic food(like Subway) — however — it cost $ 9 bucks(unlike Subway)! The same price as Pauli’s(see my other review) or Café Rustico next door to it(dare you to find a better chicken parm), or Mulligans(also next door)… See this place having a tough time surviving long-term — there is subway also next door, and about 5 other really good local non-chain lunch options to get a great sub at the same price…

First tried it at work as a sample and got hooked! The subs are basic subs but pretty filling and cheap. You’re so full after eating like a half of a sandwich. The place is set up pretty cool and they have this neat city patio outside the restaurant. Definitely worth a try!

Sandwich was not what I was expecting but pretty tasty. Everything in the meal was fresh. Not a whole lot of menu options, but nice spot. Think of this place as your local grocery store deli counter on a bigger scale.

I am a complete fan of splurging and investing $ 10 for a yummy sandwich or sub. Unfortunately this place was seriously disappointing. The avocado spread on my beach sandwich literally tasted like guacamole from a tub and was extremely processed. I’m doubtful there was any avocado incorporated into it but there was deff some green dye. Overall pretty un climactic. Won’t be returning ever.

I’m torn. The sub itself was actually really good. But I think I was either given the wrong size or something as it looked quite small and did not have a ton of meat. I had a roast beef and turkey, the bootlegger. Again, delicious sub, as were the S/V chips. I just felt that it was grossly overpriced. How is a sub/chip/drink combo almost 13 dollars? Otherwise, it was good. I may be back.

you don’t need to ask for extra this or that — they give you plenty of it in your sub it is a solid 3 for quantity/price ratio and a great price you will feel full and satisfied

I am *so* glad Jimmy John’s has opened a new location close to Beacon Hill. I miss Jimmy John’s from my days of living in Chicago, so I am psyched they are expanding in the Boston area. We ordered two sandwiches and their kosher(amazing) pickle tonight via online order pick-up. Everything was ready when I showed up about 15 minutes after placing the order. The staff was courteous and my order was filled correctly and packaged to go! The sandwiches were delicious as always. We will be back whenever we are in the mood for a casual sandwich night!

Awful subs, more lettuce and tomato than anything else, cold bacon and bread, chips were good but wayyyyyy over priced. Not satisfying at all! You’re better off making a sub yourself.

3 stars because of the pickle! Don’t know what the fuss about this place is. Tom Turkey had lots of lettuce and tomato and barely any turkey but tasted ok. Lot better places for sandwiches in the area.
