These guys did an awesome job removing the snow from my property in Dorchester, fast, reliable and affordable I recommended them to everyone! My mom, my aunt and my uncle loved then too! Definitely keeping them in mind for next year!

Please note the argumentative tone in the reply — which is more docile than the 2 private messages we received. Mr. Garda certainly has the right to defend his business practices. But do you want to do business with someone who will argue with you? Two notes — the workers did only visit our property once, not multiple times. We also received a secondary bill for snow removal for a storm after we were removed from service.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mike(owner) & his crew in the planning & installation of my beautiful new landscaped urban oasis & the tidying up of a tiny back patio area. Mike was very kind & patient with me when, mid-way thru the project, I made drastic changes to the original plan. Mike then needed to juggle his & his crew’s schedule to complete my new landscape design. From start to finish of the project Mike was reachable & responsive. They also did a great job cleaning up when the project was complete I LOVE my new front & back yards & all of my neighbors do as well! Photos to be added soon :-)

Let me start off with saying that service really has to be terrible for me to go to the effort of writing a negative review. Garda Née is listed a large landscaping company with offices in many cities and many workers in those cities. I have investigated this as much as I can and it seems to be 1 guy with multiple forwarding phone numbers. I engaged Garda Née to rehab my yard after the landscaper that was hired by the real estate developer from whom I purchased had done a terrible job. We spent many months over winter going over the scope of work and devising how to address a invasive weed problem, and being ready to move as early in the spring as possible. Mike Garda assured me that he knew what he was doing and would deal with the problem. After completing all the work(after some delays…), it looked like Mike had done a good job… Within 3 days the weed was back, I called Mike and he assured me it wasn’t an issue and he could control it with lawn fertilizer. What happened next is where the situation got so poor. Mike over fertilized the lawn killing all the grass but the weed problem remained. Mike then told me he would be back to fix it all in a few days… that was 4 months ago, multiple calls /voice mails /emails /text messages, no response. During this time I have investigated the work Mike did and none of it was as we had discussed. So now I still have the weed problem, a dead lawn and I’m out of pocket by $ 3000. Please stay away from this guy UPDATED2÷12÷2015 Based on further lies this scam artist is posting(now 3 years later), I wanted other Unilocal users to know that if you wish to visit the property(East 3rd St, South Boston) the current stonework and fencing was all redone and completed professionally by Macauley Brothers Landscaping( ), ask for the owner Benie Macauley, great guy who takes pride in his work. Macauley Bros. are real landscapers who do fantastic work, please call them and don’t waste your money on this make believe artist. FYI — I looked out my window one day and saw Mike Garda taking photos of the work done by Macauley Brothers Landscaping… just saying. Don’t be fooled. Also try stopping by the Garda Née offices…

Just called these guys to see if they could remove the piles of iced up snow in my cramped parking spot in a very cramped South End alley. Mike at Garda Née Land Improvement sent his guys out with a Bob Cat and in less than one our took away(moved it) and cleared 3 parking spots(mine and two other neighbors) — spotless — for $ 75 bucks… They navigated trees, fences, other car, etc… The guy driving the Bob Cat was terrific and was very professional. They caused no damage and knew exactly what to do to remove the snow. Unfortunately, it’s looking like I’ll need to call them again.
