Apparently giving zero stars is not an option. What an unprofessional «handyman.» Came to repair a dishwasher and allegedly ordered a part, but I haven’t been able to reach him for weeks to come back to install the part he ordered. Phone calls, texts, emails, have all gone unanswered. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. Claims to do work for my company and I’m happy to let them know to steer clear.

We will never hire someone based of 5 reviews, ever again.
He came to the house to install a $ 800 item and the first thing he did was break it.
He claimed he was going to replace the item for us and continued install the other pieces of the furniture. While slowly working, he claimed he was going to bring a piece home so he could modify it to fit our needs and we never saw him again.
We texted, called and left voice messages and he never answered.
We’re out $ 800

Scheduled a day to come by and install a pull up bar… He never showed.
Gave him a call and left a message asking when I could expect him… Never got a call back.

First-​class experience with Arthur. We contacted about 10 handymen for a fairly obscure job that involved moving a kitchen wall by about an eighth of an inch. Just about everyone else was short on the phone and said they’d have to see the job to have a perspective. Arthur spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me, asked for some pictures, and had a real perspective before coming out that night to have a look and provide a quote. Two days later, Arthur returned to complete the job (and actually went beyond the job, installing our new refrigerator after the wall was moved), and at a great price.
Honest, reliable, and affordable. And we really enjoyed speaking with Arthur (although the conversation might sometimes stray a bit beyond what some consider PC!).
If you live in the Boston area and you need a handyman, Arthur’s your guy.

Very unprofessional. Did not show up at the scheduled appointment time. When I texted and called 30 minutes later, still no response. Finally, I got a response that he was sleeping in because he had a late night. I asked if he was still planning on coming and he said yes. When I asked what time I could expect him by he never responded. And that was that… Never heard from him the rest of the morning… Clearly I’m going elsewhere. So annoying that I wasted my whole morning waiting around.

I used Artie for some odd jobs and décor installation in my new apartment. He was great – on time, very nice and patient, and very knowledgeable about how to hang stuff. He really cared about how my shelving/​etc would work in my day to day life. Doesn’t charge an arm and a leg by any means. I’ll use him again.

Arthur did a great job, fast, and affordable. I needed a door lock fix on a Saturday. Arthur came the day I contacted him, figured what needed to be done, quoted me a price, and got it done with out delay. I cant tell you how impressed I was with his service. Thank you Arthur!

I’ve now used Arthur for 2 jobs. TV mounting and doorknob replacement (which first required drilling new holes in my very old, metal doors). He’s very friendly, does high quality work and is very affordable! If you need some help around the house, give Arthur a call!
