The food here is very fresh and there are many items on their menu. Everything from big burgers too delicious vegan fare. The coffee is merely okay in my opinion. I don’t come here for the coffee and pastries. The lunch is exceptional ranging between 8 – 10 $. Also very, very filling. Just had a Roast beef with havarti, horse radish on a home made foccassia bread. I find myself here at least once a week to try new items from their menu which is extensive.

I work in the area so I’ve walked passed this place a few times. I decided to give Espresso Love a try for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by how good my sandwich was. I tried the Katama Chicken sandwich($ 8.50). the chicken comes out warm. The pepperjack cheese + chipotle aioli gives the sandwich a nice kick to it. My favorite part was their freshly baked fresh focaccia bread — the bread was very soft and complemented the sandwich well. After I finished my sandwich, I decided to treat myself with a chocolate chip cookie($ 2.50). Unfortunately, that left me disappointed. The cookie wasn’t moist and soft, but a little stale. I know later in the day they wrap up their pastries for resale the next day.

Not sold. There are a few perks — bathrooms, lots of seating, a decent number of outlets. They say they have free wifi, even a secired wifi channel, but i couldn’t connect to it(the girl at the counter said sometimes it just doesn’t let you in ??). The free wifi was unstable. So that’s that… The latte tasted good, the food was decent, i got my sandwich w some tortia chips. Nothing spectacular. The environment and the service were just ok. Don’t think I’ll come back.

This coffee shop is a workhorse. Consistent quality and solid service. I would say they serve the 2nd best iced coffee downtown. It’s just a slight notch below the new Japanese coffee shop, Ogawa. I tried their food for the first time today and it was perfectly satisfying. I had the sunrise breakfast sandwich. Egg, cheese and bacon on an english muffin. But here’s the rub. They use pepper jack cheese, giving the sandwich some spice. I like that kind of thoughtful twist on an old classic. Come here if you want a reliable alternative to Starbucks and Dunks.

Good service. Nice espresso drinks. It’s a bit difficult to find a seat. Though a terrific choice when looking for a Starbucks alternative in the Financial district.

This place is prime for the financial district, they will get you in and out in 2 minutes or less. Even when it’s busy they fly you through but are still nice to the customers. I also have gotten the powerhouse vegetarian sandwich from here a few times and it’s delicious!

Was looking for a cheap egg breakfast so I got the southwestern breakfast burrito without the wrap for 3.50. Just what I needed. They have a lot of drinks but I just had a coffee and sat at a table for an hour. Steady stream of customers on their way to work, but the tables never got crowded.

This is a great little spot to stop in for a cup of coffee, just about any baked good or even a quick sandwich. There is some seating inside on the first level and for more seating and the restrooms head on upstairs. The wifi is free and works well too. My husband and I stopped in here when we were waiting to head on to out next spot to kill some time and browse the internets. He had and iced coffee and I had some tea. I would definitely come back to try a bite to eat.

A great coffee and sandwich shop in Downtown Boston that evokes memories of hot summers in Martha’s Vineyard, Espresso Love serves up a solid ice coffee and great, hearty sandwiches in the financial district. Throughout last summer, Espresso Love was my go-to coffee stop on my walk from the ferry pier to work — or if I had a few minutes between downtown meetings. The staff are always friendly, and the service quick. On most occasions, I stick to a large ice coffee, but on my recent visit, I tried the«Chicken Avo BLT» — plenty of chicken, warmed, and with fresh avocado on toasted sourdough. Overall, a great sandwich, and I’ll be returning to try others named for famed places in Martha’s Vineyard, which is home to Espresso Love’s other location in Edgartown. The seating inside is two floors and tends to fill up at lunchtime. Espresso Love also does catering.

I ordered the veggie wrap and it was so delicious. LOVED the feta dill cream so next time I would order extra. They didn’t do a great job at spreading it, and most of the cream was just in the middle of the wrap. same with the Havarti. Everything in the bakery case looks delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try something. I have my eye on the banana chocolate whoopie pie. I’m so excited to have found Espresso Love!

I came here to try out their breakfast sandwiches and was a little disappointed. The english muffin breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito were both mediocre in size relative to the premium price. I understand that these small independent coffee shops need to charge more but at least have a quality product. I still think that Thinking Cup or Nero has better food options and pricing. Also the breakfast burrito was smothered in cold salsa that made the eating experience very unpleasant. It would have been better to just put the salsa on the side for patrons to add if they want it or at least use room temp salsa(?) Coffee was tasty so perhaps skip a savory snack and go for a baked good instead.

Cute little shop to get a quick breakfast or coffee in the morning. Prices aren’t as bad as Faneuil Hall so I would come here if you wanted a bagel. A lot of space to do work if you come in the morning but it closes early in the afternoon. :( Staff is really nice and friendly and definitely my spot to grab breakfast in the morning when I feel like splurging.

I feel like I’m cheating on my coffee shop if I tell you about Espresso Love. but I have been here a few times *shhh* and they’re just efficient and it tastes yummy. I’ve gotten a bagel sandwich, something with avocado so that was obviously delicious and I was hungover so it was even more delicious. And the Vienna Latte, sheeeit. If you work in the area, skip your average coffee chain and go fall in Love.

Busy little café that serves coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The 12 ounce mocha($ 3.79) was perfectly balanced between a cappuccino and a smooth chocolate taste. The sunrise breakfast sandwiches($ 3.49) is an English muffin, egg, bacon and pepper jack cheese. This was a bit on the greasy side but sustained me well for several hours as I walked around Boston. Overall my rating is mostly for the fast service and coffee.

Awesome coffee and lunch spot. I was really impressed with how low they keep their espresso prices — $ 3 for a double — not bad. Drip coffees are cheap too and run LARGE. Their cobb salad was surprisingly excellent. The chicken was marinated in a light lime dressing and was very tender. The avocado was very fresh and perfectly ripe, bacon portion was generous. There was no egg or cheese — odd but the avocado adequately supplied the creaminess. Staff are hipsters — but friendly, not surly ones. I requested a late in the game dressing substitution and the cashier must have checked with the line cook 3 times to make sure he accommodated me. Answer: he did. Large, open space — which protects you from lunch time crowding. Great experience, will be back.

Chill coffee and tea café in the heart of downtown. The interior is reasonably spacious with lots of windows. It’s brighter than Starbucks but not quite as comfy, better for a grab-and-go breakfast than sitting awhile. Service is adequate and the lines inside move quickly even when they’re long. ELove’s menu of coffees, teas, and other drinks is quite extensive and rotates seasonally. They also have a wide variety of pastries and sandwiches, all of which look quite tasty. The pumpkin spice black tea I ordered was OK, but it didn’t taste much like pumpkin spice. I’d recommend trying something else. Espresso Love’s biggest problem is their wifi — or rather, the lack thereof. It’s intermittent at best, possibly useful for reading BuzzFeed since you can load 12 articles at once but definitely not serviceable for doing actual work.
