I really like this place. The prices are right and I have never had to wait to be seated. The broiled scallop appitizer is excellent. Everything I have tried here was good. I have been 3 – 4 times.

had a bunch of people with us one night and didn’t want to wait in line at Giacomo’s, so we went here instead. the pumpkin ravioli still visits me in my dreams, it was so damn good. the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because Giacomo’s is the gold standard that all others will be measured against

Maybe I went on an off night, but this place was kind of a mess. I went on a Saturday night. We had wonderful seating right near the front window, but that was probably the best part of dinner. They completely forgot to put my order in, so my friends had to wait with their food in front of them until they made mine. I ordered a dish that came with shrimp and scallops, but they totally forgot the shrimp. The menu is not expansive, and our waitress was certainly not something to talk about. The food wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t go back here when there are other fabulous restaurants on Hanover St.

I stopped in here for lunch on the advice of a friend and it was wonderful. I don’t know what they put in the salad, but it was easily the best salad I’ve had in months. The steak and cheese sandwich was enormous and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I’m becoming a little stingy with my 5-star reviews, but I would say 4 ½.

I had the gnocci, and it was OK. Just OK. It was a little dry, though the cheese and herbs on top were tasty. I had no complaints, but there was certainly no party in my mouth. It made good leftovers for breakfast the next day. The bread was also OK. Just OK. The olive oil was very tasty, though– infused with all sorts of yummy things. My dinner date’s pumpkin tortellini was very Thanksgiving-y, which I thought was inappropriate for the summer(I actually asked the waiter where they get pumpkin in August, he fumbled the answer), and way too sweet for a main dish. It actually tasted good, and the sauce was good, but I wouldn’t enjoy it as an entrée. Maybe as breakfast the next day, but the date didn’t go THAT well. I was trying to be a cheap date, so I didn’t eat much. Maybe I should go back, try more, and give them a fair review, but it was so just OK that I think it’s OK to not. The waitstaff was very pleasant and prompt. The stairs to the basement were very slippery. The handrail on the left, however, is very sturdy. I strongly recommend that.

As Nick K is my husband I agree with him on the Caprese Salad. The mozzarella was amazing and I was highly disappointed that our 2nd one was much smaller. I had the lobster ravioli for lunch and it was very good although if you’re not in the mood for something rich you might want to skip it. It even heated up well the next day for a snack since I wasn’t able to finish it. We didn’t order any but the pizza and subs were huge so beware before you order.

On our trip to Boston, we stopped by this place for lunch as it was right around where our friends lived. They had some delicious food and great portions for the price. The first time we went here, we ate in the restaurant and split a Caprese salad. It was huge, had delicious mozarella, and had the most amount of mozarella in a Caprese salad that I have seen. Unfortunately, later in the weekend, we ordered one for carry-out and the portion seemed to be smaller. For our in-restaurant lunch, I had fettucine alfredo which was very good, except there was way too much sauce for the amount of noodles in the pasta.

This place is great. My friend wanted to go to the North End for a birthday dinner and everywhere had crazy waits and was packed… so we kept walking and wound up at Emedio’s. There was only one other table with people, so it was nice and quiet. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. It’s a classy restaurant with reasonable prices.

I took my ex here(before she was my ex, obviously) before a play at the Wang(Cinderella, I think…). Probably the best part of the whole night. Food, atmosphere, service, they had it all. Plus, the bill was reasonable for what we got. I’d go back.

Delicious delicious Italian food. The North End, per usual, has succeeded again in having yet another fantastic Italian restaurant. Of course Emedios manages to stand out with it’s beautiful interior and friendly help… and then again their is always the appetizers at their catered events. YUM!
