Moved to the area and usually go to Avenue Barber shop across from the Banshee, but he was closed so I went here. Everyone was friendly and I got a damn good haircut.
The shop was busy. All chairs were full and a handful of guys were waiting for a seat. I’ll be back for sure.
99% it’s cash only BTW. No receptionist, you pay your barber after the cut.

I moved to the neighborhood recently and desperately needed a haircut. I walked up and down Dorchester Ave finding a number of salons, but only 2 barbers. El Nuevo Estilo was open, so I went in there.
The atmosphere was inviting, and I was quickly the next in line. All patrons that came in greeted me, making me feel extremely welcome.
Admittedly, there was a slight language barrier, but I can’t knock the place for that, and I also ended up with a great haircut.
All in all, I got a haircut and a shave from Wilson and it cost me $ 18.00
