Conveniently located right off the green line at Gov’t Center. Although… it does suck that Gov’t Center will close for two years starting on March 22nd. Two years!!! What am I gonna do!!! It’s okay. The world’s not gonna end. And it won’t stop me from going to this DD location before I head to work. The staff at this location are really friendly, and accommodate you well. If you want 1 sugar, extra extra cream and a caramel swirl, it’s no worries… they’ll take care of me… ahem…you. :) Like other DD locations, it’s convenient and quick. It’s a little odd that there’s another DD just around the corner on Tremont Street… like 3 doors down. Literally 3 doors down… yeah it might be a little bigger and whatnot, but that location could have been a little farther away for business reasons. I prefer this one anyway. :)

I don’t expect much when is step into a Dunkin’ but this location is surrounded by other locations & is one of the worse. It is a small space with three registers but every time I have gone inside only one has been open. So that person has to take your order then make the drink portion of it also. This leads to a line that would not happen if the other registered were manned. Plus the last time I went there I attempted to us a coupon via their iOS app. The cashier could not scan it in but instead of typing the coupon in he told me that I was only saving a few cents on it any way. So, is that the point of the corporate coupons? I told him that it needs to work because I was going to pay with the same app. A manager appeared & she tried to scan the screen then after a few swipes she started to grumble & slam the scanner down. It was only until another employee suggested that the brightness be brought up that it worked. The point here is that you encourage your customers to use your technology but in practice locations like this are not trained well enough to implement the systems. I decided to stay inside the store to enjoy my hot chocolate & another employee who looked like she was on break came out the back to show the manager a photo on her phone by cursing in front of a few customers. «Take a look at this f’in funny picture!!!» There is no where is appropriate behavior even when there are no customers around. This goes to show me that the managers here let any type of behavior slide. The manager started yelling across the store so the same employee could buy her pizza. The regulars get treated much better than the people off the street here. I’ve witness a time where there was a line of at least 5 people & a regular just walked up to the counter to grab his order. This location needs some corporate oversight & additional training to truly good customer service to everyone, especially the managers. A few bright spots of this place some from a small number of their employees who are very pleasant & receptive. Plus they are one of the few locations to us a Android tablet based reward system. There is a bigger location around the 100 feet around the corner. I think I’ll take the short walk & go there instead.

I got here this morning about 9:30… the women who took my order pissed me off… she was acting racist… she had a smiling face and jolly attitude for the white women before me. and as I stepped in she was totally rude… i kinda got pissed. not only me also she treated same way to the Hispanic looking guy behind me. can’t treat us by looking at color our skin… I couldn’t get name if i had known her name i would have posted it…

Worst customer service among all the DD. The manager was rude! I asked to put less milk for my iced latte, and he said ok. After he made my coffee, it look like pure milk in that iced latte. I asked to change, and he said he couldn’t do it, because that is how latte look like(why he bother to say«ok» from the first place ?) A few weeks later i came back to buy Orange Colada, the same guy was taking my order. He somehow remember me from last time, he said«DD stop making Orange Colada». I went to the next DD, and they have it. Such a bull shit! How can DD hire a rude manager like that, if he can’t handle customer service well, he better stay home then being a manager.

Not sure if this is the right one. This is the Dunkin Donuts in the Blue Line/Green Line connector at Government Center. The lines move rather fast, but the donuts weren’t hot. I’ve had better. I’m not much of a coffee drinker either! So… what’s the big deal about DD? I have no clue!

I stop into this Dunkin Donuts every day on my way into work. There are probably 3 other DD locations that I could easily go to on my commute but I choose this one because they have never gotten my order wrong once in the year that I’ve been going there, the staff is always friendly and polite and no matter how long the line is(and it can get looong) I’m always in and out in less than 5 minutes. Sometimes the staff can get a little flustered, especially is there are employees new to the morning shift and it’s really busy, but I’ve never had a bad experience.

I have discovered that the more people working behind the counter at this DD, the longer you can expect to wait. I don’t know what it is, it seems like they get confused or start talking and things take forever — but if it’s just 2 people back there hustling, things seem to go a lot smoother! Otherwise, it’s a nice convenient location and beats the long lines that can form at the one in the T station — but the one in the government station stop is usually the one I prefer. The staff is quicker and usually friendlier.

once i had a great, friendly guy who was upbeat, quick, and overall a nice experience for me. but here’s what ticks me off… the sign that says if you can’t spend more than 10 or 15 minutes. police take notice. or something along those lines. police state much?

Did we all go to the same Dunkins? How did this place get 5 stars? Clearly ya’ll are crazy. Had to go pick up something for a client and stopped in for an iced coffee as I almost fell asleep just walking up the City Hall Plaza steps. First of all, there was only 3 people ahead of me in line with 3 people working the counter – and it took me 10 minutes to be served. On top of that, the girl who served me had to LOOKAROUND for the iced coffee dispenser… there she was… walking around behind the counter cup o’ ice in hand searching for where they keep that enchanted iced coffee brew… woop! She found it! Yayyayyyaya! I asked for cream and 4 splenda – the usual. Well there was hardly any cream in the coffee so I had to ask for more… ITWASSTILLDARKBROWN when she rang me up. The coffee tasted disgusting, but at that point I didn’t care, I just wanted the caffeine even if it tasted like pennies. She was a nice enough lady though, so I won’t hold her lack of a brain too hard against her. And as for the clientele… well…excuse me, this is a frickin Dunkin Donuts. If you don’t know how it works here, you should be killed. One man couldn’t comprehend the act of ordering his wife’s strawberry smoothie and kept looking back to her like a poor little lost puppy. SMACKUPSIDETHEHEAD. But that dude wasn’t nearly as aggravating as the classless woman who stood at the counter and inhaled her chocolate frosted donut whilst paying… mouth full of food…“Whaa is thadone?! Boston Crème? Whatz indat? OOTHERE’S CREME? Whatzdat like. Vanilla or sumthin? Howmush? Same price? Hmmm…“ I declare martial law on this dunkins and I’m in charge. I’m handin’ out ass whoopin’s & lollipops and I’m all outta lollops.

I know it’s strange to review a Dunkin Donuts, but I have to give credit to the people at this one. They are consistently so friendly and fast that this is the best DD I have visited in Boston.
