Community Gardens on Berkeley St

Vast and impressive. Some portions are in slight disrepair, but for the most part a respectable plot of land maintained by folks in the area.

Along Berkeley St in the South End runs an alley lenghth’s worth of community gardens. It is nice to walk through, admiring everyone’s creative use of plastic bags and soda bottles, and to hope and speculate that someone somewhere is growing something illegal. A good place to steal a kiss, and maybe a nip from a flask. Also, check out the crazy sculpture yard in the alleyway. You’ll know what I mean when you see it.
