Clover has good food! I got lunch here yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised. The employees are quick and friendly. My sandwich took about 2 minutes to be ready. The menu is quite small, so it was pretty easy to decide on the chickpea fritter. The sandwich was a good size and a decent value at $ 7. I am a big fan! My main complaint is that there was a bit too much cabbage and carrots and the way the sandwich is layered, you hit one ingredient at a time. Despite that, I really enjoyed clover and will be back!

This is my «I’m late to work, need to grab a quick breakfast that’s healthy and convenient». I’ve only gotten the oatmeal with peaches, I believe the fruit changes seasonally, and while it’s not bursting with flavor like a egg sandwich it does the trick. They use steel cut oats and fresh cut peaches. The size is not bad and doesn’t make you regret the $ 3+ you pay for it. This truck also offers lunch and is parked throughout the city but I go to the one in south station.

We’ve enjoyed Clover’s restaurant and food trucks for the past two years. The fries are tasty, the chickpea sandwiches delicious, and the bread nice and chewy. This week, however, something went wrong. On Monday the Clover truck near Boston Common was out of bread, and didn’t do anything to make up for it. That was a bit silly but so it goes. Then, on Thursday, the Clover truck in Jamaica Plain make the customers wait 30 minutes for bread to arrive, but then I was served my sandwich without it. What the what?! Clover, get your act together.

Refreshing Lavender lemonade for $ 3.27 from their Boston Common truck was part of a pay by phone outside the truck approach. Skipped the carrot soup, muffins, fries via Best Food Ever. Custom Amount $ 3.50 Total $ 3.50

I came here today for lunch after realizing that my beloved Falafel King had moved locations and Clover food truck was the next best choice. I had never been, but was really glad i did! I decided to get the chickpea fritter and blueberry lemonade. Both were excellent! The chickpea fritter pita was very tasty, packed with some type of slaw, and pickled cucumbers, hummus & tahini and I was not disappointed. The chickpea fritters themselves were similar to falafels, crispy and warm, and seasoned just right. I wanted to get the fries as well, but the servings looked so big that I knew I would never be able to eat them by myself, so i passed. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the 2 other sandwich items did not look like items I would ever order. But I will be back for that fritter and hopefully to try the fries!

Don’t miss their mint lemonade. The service was very pleasant and fast. Clearly extremely popular. We had the chickpea fritters, a different way to call a falafel!

I’m not vegetarian, but this place made me realize that I could survive without eating meat. I love the concept: a fast food joint with clean flavors, simple ingredients, and organic products. No preservatives and no freezers-everything is made on the spot. Food was very filling.

I wanted to like this food truck, but after waiting 45 minutes in line just to get the wrong sandwich, I will never be going back again. I see reviews raving about the chickpea fritter, so maybe my review would be different if I had actually gotten that as I ordered, but by the time I realized their error I had no time left on my lunch break to go back. Instead I was given the spring dug parsnip sandwich. Parsnips are not my favorite, but the sandiwch was ok(hunger is the best seasoning, and by the time I got it, I was ravenous). The greens they jam in on top are too big and make it hard to eat without a bunch fo them falling out and making a mess. Now I have a stomach ache. The price for the sandwich was meh($ 7 with tax), but they are expensive with their iced tea for such a small size. If you have a lot of time to kill try them out, but I hope you have better luck than me.

Probably the best food truck in Boston even if it is veggie. The chickpea fritter is a must-try. The egg and eggplant sandwich is good overall, although the fried eggplant is a little too salty. The popovers are fantastic if you can get them while they’re hot.

Amazing falafel sandwiches. Other than the egg and eggplant, their entire menu is delicious! Rosemary fries are good. And I always feel so wonderfully healthy when I grab lunch from the clover food truck. Service is great too.

Very into this food truck! Cheap, delicious, healthy food. I’m starting a new job downtown in a few weeks and I cannot WAIT to frequent Clover. They usually have 3 sandwiches– each for 5 bucks, and then two other options for 3 bucks. The rosemary fries are soo good and even if you don’t get them it’s worth just hanging out around the truck because they smell amaaaaazing. Today I had some gazpacho, and oh boy do I love gazpacho. It was a cream-based gazpacho which I don’t usually prefer, but I actually loved it. It was really spicy which I like! Yayyyyyy!!!

I’m no longer vegan but let me tell you, a vegan bbq seitan is 1000000000000000x better than anything else I have tried from clover. I can honestly eat 2 in one sitting. Staff at this food truck is great… no like really great. They always remember me when I come by and sometimes do remember that I want a vegan bbq seitan. That’s besides the point … that shit is so damn good… excuse my language.

Husband and I stopped by the Clover truck today. We had the chickpea fritter, a vegan BLT, the rosemary fries and brown sugar lemonade. Everything was really delicious. I totally understand why the chickpea fritter is so popular. However the BLT was also great. The tempeh was really smoky and flavorful. The lemonade was surprisingly refreshing. I don’t normally like lemonade but this was really smooth and not too sweet. In addition to really tasty food, I was very impressed with just how friendly everyone with whom we interacted was! Mike took our order and was fantastic. Sadly we didn’t think to get anyone else’s names. But truly everyone’s was delightful. My only disappointment is that there isn’t a Clover in providence. Thanks for a really wonderful experience.

meh… average at best. I was expecting more from a truck that has such a good reputation. Ordered the Chickpea Fritter sandwich .(falafel) and the Rosemary Fries. It was a hot and stormy day and there was maybe 1 person ahead of me. After about 10 minutes my food was ready and i was eager to dig in. The fries were good but the rosemary wasn’t really doing anything for me… They are basically regular fries with pieces of rosemary thrown in. it was kind of underwhelming in my opinion. The falafel was average… not a whole lot going on. red cabbage, carrots, tahini, falafel. Pretty basic stuff.

I am often, insultingly, mistaken as a hipster. Just because I wear chucks, and Ray Bans, and my hair may or may not be a silent ode to Bob Dylan circa 1972, does not mean I am a hipster. Neither does my love of veggie food trucks. ANYWAYS, now that awkwardness is out of the way… Clover is da bomb. I am studying for the Bar Exam, and my 9am coffee from them(pick your poison: George Howell, Barrington, Kuma) keeps me awake through whatever fact pattern awaits me at 9:30(hint: someone always dies). at 1:30, I happily skip over to the Park and quiet my sobs by shoving chickpea fritters or pimento cheese down my gullet. Oh the Pimento Cheese sandwich. Just do it. Don’t get all like«I’m from the South and my Momma makes it better.» No she doesn’t. Clover is cheap and quick and yummy. The staff are fun and welcoming and are very passionate about their jobs. Things you should eat(In order of greatness) 1) Pimento Cheese Sandwich 2) Breakfast Sandwich 3) Fruit and Granola compote 4) BBQ Seitan 5) Chick Pea Fritter My only quibble is I miss the 3pm special. This year’s Clover Downtown truck has a streamlined menu which means no more yummy fritters. SIGH. Oh well. I guess I will have to settle for the fries.

I dropped by here on Saturday morning for a quick bite — I was not impressed. The«sandwich» was literally eggs, tomatoes, and lettuce in a pita. I just didn’t see any value that the restaurant added to the raw ingredients — i.e., I could had made it myself.

Context: At the food truck. Starting the Freedom Trail at Park Street on a sunny Friday! Service: A bit slow and a bit rude. My boyfriend asked what drink he should get and cashier shrugged him off and said, «I don’t know» with some attitude. Bad service totally ruins the meal. Disappointing. FOOD Chickpea Fritters: Generous portion. Fritters were well made: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great combination of textures. The pickled cabbage is slightly overpowering. I would ask them to go easy on the cabbage next time. This can and will get messy, so get lots of napkins! Rosemary Fries: Pretty good. The sprigs of rosemary are fried along with the potatoes so the potatoes and rosemary are both delicious and crispy. Tarragon Lemonade: Not my favorite lemonade. The tarragon is strong. Still refreshing nonetheless. Love the food, but improve the service.

Lost along the Freedom Trail and we had no idea we were doing it backwards, the munchkin and I got hungered. Well we ran right into the closer truck between some umbrella ice cream stands and I was like lets get rosemary french fries! The munchkin had been begging for some ice cream. So I was happy when her eyes lit up yeah, «I WANTFRENCHFRIES!» Pro Tip: Its mostly frufru food, but it is fresh. Even saw the guy cut our potatoes into fries like In & Out if they did skinny fries! They fried the freshly cut potatoes with fresh rosemary. It was delicious! The munchkin was like eww the green stuff is bad. I then took a bunch of fries covered with the rosemary popped them into my mouth and went YUMMMM! You should try them… and she hesitantly picked up a fry with one leaf on it and looked at it quizzically… I said come on, its just like your plant(«she» has a rosemary plant on the porch), and I cook with it all the time. So she summoned up her courage and slowly inevitably put the fry in her mouth. Her eyes engorged and she smiled from ear to ear. Then she downplayed it, ehhh its ok. She then proceeded to grab and stuff every fry with a piece of rosemary on it into her mouth as fast as she could! Consequently it was great grub. However, the price point at $ 3 is high but it is a tourist trap. Or it is a «high end» food truck. Regardless it was tasty but overpriced. The munchkin would inhale some more of those fries and I would enjoy a few again as well.

Egg and Eggplant sandwich for $ 6 in dowtown Boston made me smile all over. I wa super excited when i saw their menu and I was not disappointed. They also serve drip coffee, what is better than that. I forgot my French press back home so I was missing some good coffee. Clover you delivered. They were parked on the common and gave me a great lunch. I love eggplant bit i have realized that i can’t cook it properly. I am glad Clover can as it wasn’t too chewy and had no bitter taste. The hummus, veggies, and bread just added to the delectable delight. The price, food, and service were right on. So if you are Downtown and are not sure what you want, I would suggest a walk over to Clover to find a wonderful sandwich. The chickpea fritter was on my short list as well. And they have better coffee than Dunkin Donuts. Grab a sandwich and sit in the park to people watch. I love big cities and the attraction people watching.

Oh Clover food truck, how I miss thee. For the few times I’ve indulged there, I have loved every second of it(except for the random hobos coming up to me asking for change/cigarettes/weed/salvation). I do have to say its not the neatest meal to eat, as you will inevitably end up spilling your shnomtastic food somewhere on you or on the street, but the juice is certainly worth the squeeze. Its the kind of food that you think about after work and say to yourself, «mmmmmm chick pea fritters and sweet potato fries.» The next time I visit Boston, I will make sure to visit the truck I hold so dearly to my stomach.
