Awesome grilled chicken Caesar salad! Sadly I heard this place closed. Too bad if so!

Its true, they have good prices for a slice but honestly, I’d pay more for quality food prepared in sanitary conditions. First, they are constantly touching money and then they prepare food on the grill without gloves and no hand washing in between. Excuse me, gross. I recently ordered grilled chicken to put on a salad I brought from home. Charged me $ 5 even though a grilled chicken breast sandwich was listed as $ 4.25. Boo. The uncooked chicken was left in an open container next to the grill. The door is always wide open so really, they should keep that covered up. A friend ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I’m not kidding you when I say that there was a huge dead COCKROACH in her salad. It was disgusting. When she called, they actually wanted her to bring the salad to them. I’m sure so that they could throw it away. Sorry. Board of Health, here we come. After telling another friend the cockroach story, he told me that he stopped eating there because he found a fly in his sandwich. Wish I had known that before I went there today. So, my recommendation: Skip Caesar’s and the dead cockroaches they are serving.

Based on looks, you won’t like it. Food is pretty good, though! Had a very reasonably priced Veal(patty) Parm sub and thoughtit was great!

Does this unassuming front conceal a hidden hole in the wall of excellent pizza? No! It tastes like the place looks. The dough is unremarkable and the cheese is thick and rubbery. I went in for a late lunch while rushing from point A to point B and grabbed the two cheese slices and a soda special. My friend was with me and went ignored by the guy at the front counter, who apathetically tossed my slices after loafing around for a bit and continued to ignore her for the rest of the time we were in there. In the end we ended up splitting the special — a good decision since one slice of the pizza was more than enough. Blah pizza, apathetic service. I will, however, concede that $ 3.75 for two slices and a soda is a deal.

So as i was walking along Essex Street, trying to blow 2 hours before my train to Worcester left, hungry but not wanting to risk Ding Ho that day, I stumbled upon this tiny little pizza store. They have 4 stools, but I wouldn’t ever eat in there, it’s tiny! But anyways, very cheap pizza, that was much better than anything else around(excepting pizzeria regina at South Station, but they’re too expensive). Only complaint was that the crust wasn’t very good, but I got a MASSIVE slice, it was literally the size of half a pizza. So yeah, definitely coming back.

Pretty good Pizza Deal which was something like $ 3.75 for 2 slices of cheese and a can of soda. The Pizza itself is decent, but there’s nothing amazing about it. The rest of the menu is your standard sub shop.

Cheap, but great pizza deal — especially for lunch for those budget downtowners. 3.50 deal for two gigantic cheese slices and a soda. their sandwiches look great as well, but I haven’t ventured there yet.

This is a decent pizza/sub shop. The steak tip subs are great as well as the BBQ chicken.
