Everything about this place is terrible. The billing is almost always incorrect. I got charged $ 550 for an appointment I never made or went to. I had to contact my insurer and tell them not to pay the bill. That finally got them to call me back. The scheduling people don’t call you back either, and they’re rude. The optometrists don’t listen when you say that the prescription needs to be stronger.

I went here because my vision insurance was covered in full except the billing department at the hospital billed my medical insurance so I was expected to pay a co-​pay. After almost a year I think I finally got it settled but the staff here is incompetent.
Additionally, the Rx I got from the Dr is awful. I paid $ 160.00 dollars for contact lens fitting and I cannot even see with the contacts. A return visit to get them corrected (they charged me for the visit too) resulted in another pair of contacts that I cannot see out of. The Rx for the glasses is also off and I see better from my previous pair. Stay away from the BU Eye Associates.
