Having been to several of the other shwarma places around here I decided to try this one out. I got the shwarma with avocado which was one of their specials for the day. To their credit the shwarma meat was actually pretty good. Too bad their ratio was totally off. Half the time I felt like I was eating seasoned bread with lettuce. The ambiance of the restaurant seems pretty nice until you see their«kitchen». It’s a prep station with a portable meat rack that seems like it was bought at cvs and a microwave. And yes. They actually used the microwave while I was there, fortunately, not for my meal. Even still, when you come to a restaurant, the last thing you want to see is food being prepared in a microwave. I will definitely not be coming back

Generous portions. Great service. But the chicken is a little on the dry side. I would come back again for a quick meal.

This is my go-to lunch spot! Their meals are very quick, relatively healthy and feel homemade(at a great value). I love the combo platters. Always ask for a side of hummus(it’s so. good.) and falafel. I’ve tried most things here and haven’t had a bad experience. My favorite meat is probably the lamb. Also, everyone who works there is a gem. So kind and always ready and willing to recommend and explain different dishes.

This is the best Shawarma in Boston! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! The workers there are so friendly and the food is amazing!

From the outside, this place is strangely depressing to look at: cracked window glass, no inside seating and a dingy interior generally. But the food and prices are good and the guy behind the counter is friendly. It’s probably best to imagine this as a kind of large, brick-and-mortar food truck: good hearty food at a good price, quickly.

Stay away from this place. Shawarma is not edible, looks like it is made from canned meat on a pan with enormous amount of salt. I was unable to try more than one bit. Save your time and money– don’t even try their shawarma.

My shawarma was mad+decent and service was fast+friendly – this area of Boston is basically the Bermuda Triangle of Tourism, so finding a non-chain, non-insane place for lunch is like finding a diamond in a tin mine. Also – kudos for having ayran here. First time I’ve found ayran for sale in downtown Boston.

Very little seating area since the store itself is not that big. The falafels are NOT included with the chicken shawarma plate, which was a bit disappointing. It cost a little more than Falafel King, but gave a little less food, which was also quite disappointing. The rice was better, but the hummus less so. Overall just OK.

I spotted this place on the way back from my Freedom trail walk. Ordered a lamb shawarma, The staff was very nice and offered me extra hot sauce when I told him it was so good. And it was actually really good with the meat. Would come back again.

Worst falafel I EVER had. The stuff must be a dry mix because it was like a fluffy, spongy corn muffin consistency. Go down a few doors for REAL good falafel. But, their lamb shawarma is good. I saw someone get the lamb shank plate and it looked good too.

Stumbled across this after missing a train and while walking to another station at 11:30 at night. Incredibly friendly, fast service, and amazing lamb schawarma. Very large portion sizes and generous with the lamb. We only stopped there because the smell coming from the open door was mouth-watering. Highly recommend.

This place serves authentic Middle Eastern food. Their lamb and chicken shawarmas, falafel are awesome! Desserts(baklava and honey cake) are the best I’ve ever come across — the authentic taste makes you feel like you’re in the Middle East!

This place is awesome and I DEFINITELY recommend it. It doesn’t look like much when you first walk in but give it a chance… Can’t wait to go back

I really like this place. Wonder why I never paid attention and tried their food before. Or how did I miss that it exists. Tough to find flaws of any kind, I was really impressed with many things. Here are my thoughts: — Location: What better than being right in the middle of Downtown Crossing! The place is surrounded by many competitive options to choose from for lunch or dinner. Having a Shawarma place right in the middle of the financial district is fantastic. — Food: I had the lamb Shawarma to go. And it was so good. The quantity/quality vs price value is on point. The rice and the chopped meat was the majority of the plate and then there was salad and hummus. Everything was fresh and tasted really good. For someone who likes spicier food and more on the hotter side, I asked if they had a hot sauce. And they did. I got a good spoon and a half of this really hot, red chilli sauce which really was kind of icing on the cake for me. It completely transformed my meal and made it even more better than it already was. — Timings: I especially like the fact they are open so late in the night. Especially when you are out and about in downtown and it’s very late, I always wished there was Shawarma place that is open that late. And this one does. Even the weekends. I love the 11 to 11 time window. Overall, I was very happy with my 1st take out meal from Boston Shawarma. And given that it is open till late, it has the potential to be my go to option when in downtown for late late indulgence!

If you want good food for a good price come here. Recommend the lamb shawarma. They clearly care about what they’re serving. The lamb tastes very good. The pita is definitely made daily and is very good. They know what they’re doing

This place is TERRIBLE. I ordered from them yesterday and the food is horrible. Chicken was dry, Kibbeh was burnt, delivery took forever, and NOTHING was fresh. I mistook for the original boston shawarma(can they even do that?). Terrible terrible, willl never order from there again

Great food for vegetarians. They offer a lot more veggie options than a lot of other falafel places. The delivery, in my experience was really great. It was to us in about 20 – 25 minutes, and pretty cheap too(about $ 15 for 2 filling meals).

Don’t ever order from this place. 30 – 45 minutes estimate is a lie. I ordered the food over 2 hours ago and it still has not come. Called the restaurant 1 hr ago and was told the food is «on the way», the gentleman was very rude and has no concept of customer service.
